Owen Hart: "Kronus, you beat my brother, Bret, last week.  But you didn't do it fair and square in the middle of the ring.  And that is one thing I won't stand for, especially here in Calgary, you and your east coast friends cheating their way into titles and title matches.  So tonight, Kronus, there will be no help from Vince McMahon, because he is gonna be too busy running from my brother to help you as I take back the Universal Title for the Hart Family."

While Owen vowed earlier that Vince wouldn't get involved, he never said that hir brother Bret wouldn't.  Bret interfered costing his brother the Universal Title here tonight, but it was for a better cause as the Hart Brothers beat down Kronus right in the middle of the very ring, until finally after about 5 minutes of a beating, Jim Neidhart physically brought Vince McMahon to the ring for his match with Bret and then with the help of Owen carted Kronus out the side doors of the arena and both Owen and Anvil stood-by as security to the side doors for the next match.  And it appears that the Universal Title has been left on the timekeepers table at ringside.
