PWA: Opening Night originates from Norfolk, VA

Abismo Negro and Billy Kidman defeated Mr. Aguila and Shane Helms when Kidman
pinned Aguila after a flying sunset flip in 0:17:16.

The PWA debuted its first match with 4 high flyers, and they didn't disappoint.
In what was officially a 4 Star match, Billy Kidman scored the win for his team
by pinning Mr. Aguila

D'Lo Brown pinned Al Snow after an inside cradle in 0:09:18.

2 old WWF foes battled as D'Lo Brown defeated Al Snow in an above average match

[b/]Test pinned Burchill after a flying elbowdrop in 0:08:29.
Rating: * 1/2

The veteran Test scored a solid win over the youngster Burchill in a match that
could be considered a let down between the two who obviously have so much more
to offer.

Table Death Match:
Rhyno and C.W. Anderson battled to a draw in 0:20:00.
Rating: ** 1/4


Rhyno and CW Anderson, veterans of ECW battled to a 20 minute draw in a tables
death match.  Neither competitor was able to knock out their opponent for the
10 second count in the allotted 20 minute limit.  You can beat these two will
again be battling it out real soon

Natural Born Thrillers (Sean O'Haire and Chuck Palumbo) defeated
V-Force (Venom and Matt Hardy) when O'Haire pinned M. Hardy after a powerslam
in 0:24:35.

Two teams who haven't teamed up in a long while put on a great 25 minute
wrestling exhibit this evening.  The NAtural Born Thrillers were victorious
over the OMEGA alumni team of V-Force, when Sean O'Haire scored the pin on Matt
Hardy.

Reckless Youth and Steve Corino battled to a draw in 0:20:00.

Two indy wrestling darlings battled to a 20 minute draw when Reckless Youth
and Steve Corino threw everything they had at each other, however, when the dustsettled, neither good claim the victory.

Vampiro pinned Raven after a powerslam in 0:13:55.
Rating: *** 1/4


Vampiro and Raven, two wrestlers very familiar with one another battled for a
solid near 15 minutes, and had the fans on their feet with many near falls.  Thefan favorite Vampiro picked up the win after powerslamming Raven, after an
unsuccessful pin attempt.  After the powerslam, Raven finally stayed down, and
Vampiro was victorious.

Carlito Colon pinned Rob Van Dam with the Modified Swinging Neckbreaker in
          0:11:52.
Rating: ** 1/2


2nd Generation superstar Carlito Colon defeated the "PWA Franchise" Rob Van Dam
in an exciting 10+ minute encounter.   The two pulled out many good spots, and
Colon got the win after the MSN, and a hold of the tights for good measure.

Carlito vs RVD the top feud!!  woo!

I'll have to go with Reckless Youth and Al Snow as the tag team tourney winners seeing how TNM tends to go off in it's OWN direction when it comes to tournaments.
