Yup, it's another CotD fed. Set in Amarillo, with Terry Funk as the backer. 95% unbooked, as you'll see tonight.

Cold opening for the DVD with Da Hit Squad, made up of Monster Mack and Mafia in the ring jawing with the crowd in Amarillo. After the usual collection of redneck, hick, and steer-queer jokes, the crowd comes alive as 'It's Raining Men' starts up and none other than Lenny Lane and Lodi come out and charge the ring, dressed in pink!

Match #1: Lenny Lane and Lodi versus Da Hit Squad

Lenny Lane goes for a kick to the midsection, but Mafia blocks it.

Amarillo Championship Wrestling starts off with a bang as two huge tag teams who have wrestled all over the world meet to start off ACW Starting Out! Lane and Lodi are more than capable wrestlers, but were slowly taken apart with a variety of power wrestling moves from Da Hit Squad. The hard-hitting ending was Mafia hitting a lariat out of nowhere on Lodi and hitting the Burning Hammer twice before getting the pinfall, as Lenny Lane couldn't make the save in time!

Move to backstage as Doug Williams arrives at the arena, already in his ring gear. He nods to the camera, before pushing it out of the way.

Match #2: Ashley Hudson v. Spanky

Two young guns in ACW met up, to some fantastic action. Spanky held control for most of the match, having more experience than the young wrestler of Down Under, but in the end Hudson pulled a boomarang out of the corner of the ring and used it on Spanky on to get the dubious win! After the match, Hudson got out of town while Spanky seethed in the ring.

Another shot to backstage as Hector Garza is backstage. After showing some respect to his opponents, Garza points out that it is his time for him to take the main stage in a company and prove once and for all that Latino Pride can rule ACW!

Match #3: Mike Quackenbush and Ricky Marvin versus Jado and Gedo with special referee Stan Lane

Mike Quackenbush and Ricky Marvin defeated Jado and Gedo when M. Quackenbush defeated Jado by disqualification in 0:12:14.

Quackenbush and Marvin are teaming up for the first time while Jado and Gedo are hardcore legends in Japan, wrestling in front of thousands. Stan Lane is showing up as a special referee to hype his new book. Good back and forth match with Quackenbush and Marvin working out their kinks while Jado and Gedo cut off the ring. However, they get a little over agressive and Lane DQs Jado over a chokehold to give the first-time team the surprising win!

After the match, Jado and Gedo back up Stan Lane into the corner. Lane tries to explain why he did the DQ when WHAP...beatdown time! Jado and Gedo put Lane in position...SUPERBOMB as the referees storm the ring! Jado and Gedo leave to the boos of the crowd.

One last shot backstage as Funk faces the camera, talking about how this is his hometown and he'll be damned if some 'jumping bean' and 'some guy who spent so much time in Japan he forgot what a white woman looked like' will not take him down.

Match #4: Chris Chetti versus D'Lo Brown versus Too Cold Scorpio

Three veterans faced off next, with ECW alumnus Chetti facing off former WWE star D'Lo Brown and the world-class talent of Too Cold Scorpio. D'Lo nearly had the win at the end with a huge Lo Down but Chetti somehow managed to kick out. Chetti managed to tag out to Scorpio who took control over D'Lo, but Brown managed to chain some moves together and tag back out to Chetti! The ECW star quickly fell to Too Cold and his 450 to take the win.

Match #5: Rico versus Sam Houston

They lock up.
Sam Houston goes for a side headlock, but Rico counters it with a back suplex.

Rico was expected to get a pretty easy win tonight facing of veteran enhancement talent Sam Houston, but he shocked the crowd here in Amarillo by block a kick by Rico, and turning that into a quick figure-four for the shocking pinfall!

Quick intermission highlighted by Funk signing autographs along with Too Cold and D'Lo Brown.

After the intermission, Pierre Oulette came out, saying that after dominating the TNA so badly as 'X' that he was kicked out and ruling Canada, it'd be nice to kick some ass in Texas. After a moment, none other than JERRY LYNN came out to meet the challenge!

Two former TNA & WWE stars meet in ACW as both men give it all in front of the crowd. Lynn thought he had the win early after the Cradle Piledriver, but Oulette somehow kicked out. Later on, Oulette thought he had the easy win with the Cannonball, but Lynn moved! In the end, Oulette blocked an attempted monkey flip and threw Lynn into the mat. One swinging neckbreaker later, Lynn was prey for a huge Cannonball splash from the top rope!

After the win, Oulette helped Lynn to his feet and crowd cheered the sportsmanship, only to be shocked as Oulette drove Lynn back down to the mat with a lariat! A few stomps later, Oulette walked to the back a much more hated man than twenty minutes earlier.

Match #7: Samoa Joe (c) v. Chris Hero for the ROH World Title

Joe has a huge defense in a few weeks against Austin Aires, but he offered himself in a huge match against Chris Hero, who is known widely in independent circles in the Midwest and East. These two have a huge feud in IWA-MS and they met here, with one of the most prostegious titles in the wrestling world today on the line. It was a hard-hitting physical match that was leaving both men drained. Hero from being used as a pinata by Joe for large portions of the match and the champion from his size. Joe thought he had the win with a huge dragon suplex but Hero somehow managed to kick out at 2.9!

A scrum than led to a short battle outside, highlighted by a Samoan enzuigiri by Joe! As the crowd went to their feet, Joe executed a Island Driver inside the ring and successfully defended his title. The two warriors faced off for a moment, before shaking hands and embracing to the cheers of the capacity crowd.

Match #8: Doug Williams v. 'Latino Pride' Hector Garza v. Terry Funk

In a match which had the crowd standing from its beginning, three ring veterans faced off in a battle of skills and wits. Williams thought he had the match won late with a big forearm, but Funk escaped. Garza got in the ring and battled with Williams with high-flying action and reversals. Somehow, Williams was going for a huge side suplex after gaining the advantage but Garza manuevered into a spinning headscissors! Seizing the advantage, Garza sent Williams into the turnbucke with a slingshot, then with Williams seeing stars hit a Ropeflip Moonsault out of nowhere for the win!

As Garza celebrated and Williams sulked on the outside, Funk grabbed the mic and challenged both of them to a round robin series to see who was truly the best at next months event! Williams simply nodded, while Garza said he'd prove once and for all he has Latino Pride!

After the great success of ACW Starting Out, ACW action will return to El Paso next month with ACW Standing Tall. Everyone saw the challenge after the main event last month, and ACW officials signed the series late last night. Hector Garza, Doug Williams, and Terry Funk will meet in a round-robin series that will go throughout the night to determine who is the true 'Ace' of ACW.

In other action, the Japanese hardcore duo of Gedo and Jado will meet Mike Quackenbush and Ricky Marvin in a rematch of their wild tag match at Starting Out. This time though, there will be no special referee.

After a successful debut, Da Hit Squad will meet Lenny Lane & Lodi in a remath of last months opener,  but joining them in a triangle match will be two ECW legends in the form of Too Cold Scorpio and Jerry Lynn!

In the undercard, two men who didn't start off the right foot will face each other to move up the ladder as Pierre Oulette will meet Chris Chetti in a singles match.
