As the show opens,  the camera cuts to the back where Western States Champion: Shane Douglas is arriving. As he steps from his limo, 3 masked men attack him in the parking lot & beat him down. Security arrives & runs them off, as medics attend to the now bloody champion.

The announcers welcome our viewers & The Pitbulls: Gary Wolfe & Mike Kruel make their way to the ring. Footage is shown of their arrival last week, jumping The Midnight Rider & beating him down until Dustin Rhodes came from the crowd to make the save.

Dustin Rhodes and The Midnight Rider defeated The Pitbulls (Gary Wolfe and Mike Kruel) when Dustin Rhodes defeated M. Kruel by disqualification in 0:10:18.
Rating: ** 1/2
[Colt Cabana interfered against Dustin Rhodes.]

As soon as the match was over, The Rider pushed Cabana away from Rhodes & the 2 stood face to face. Suddenly, The Rider turned & laid out Rhodes with a hard left hand. All 4 then beat down Rhodes, until The Rider signaled for the others to hold Rhodes up. The Rider then delivered a version of the Diamond Cutter. As The Rider stood in front of his fallen partner, he then pulled off his mask revealing himself to be "The Legend Killer" Randy Orton. Orton has Cabana get him a microphone.
RO: Last week, the PWA folded & I became a free agent. I recieved offers to go anywhere in the world. I chose the organization that had the most promising future. And it was not NWA: West Coast. I heard that this place was going to be booted out of the NWA & forced out of business, so I made sure that I got on the bandwagon of the group that was going to do it. A promotion out of the midwest that for too long has labored in the shadow of the rest of the country. Chicago is referred to as the "Second City" & the Great Lakes is the "Third Coast". Well take notice world, Third Coast Wrestling is about to take over!
Orton drops the mic & he, Cabana, & The Pitbulls attack Rhodes again until officials & security clear them from the ring.

Mark Johnson is with Kid Kash & Garrison Cade backstage.
MJ: Kid Kash, last week you & Lance Hoyt seem to have put an end to your partnership.
KK: That's right, and that big slob won't get anywhere without me by his side.
MJ: But last week he pinned you....
KK: That was just a fluke! And now, this week my new partner, Garrison Cade will put Lance Hoyt in his place. There's not gonna be anyone that can stop the two of us.

Garrison Cade pinned Lance Hoyt with the Top-Rope Legdrop in 0:14:14.

[Kid Kash interfered against Lance Hoyt.]

After the match:
Cade & Kash beat down on Hoyt, until "The Puerto Rican Warrior" Apolo runs down to the ring for a save. Apolo grabs the microphone after running Kash & Cade off.
A: I know that I may work for the company that wants you shut down, but, me & Kash got some unfinished business. So how about next week you 2 losers take on me & Lance.
Even without a microphone the camera picks up Kash accepting the challenge.

Footage is shown from last week of Mike Awesome attacking both Sean O'Haire & Kane.

No-Time-Limit-No-Countout-No-DQ-Triangle Match:
Sean O'Haire defeated Mike Awesome and Kane when O'Haire pinned Awesome with the Prophecy in 0:21:33.
Rating: *** 1/2

Raven alone backstage:
R: Chris Benoit, last night you cost me a victory. Be...because of you that back-stabbing, two-faced Diamond Dallas Page won the match. You're a brave and valiant warrior Chris Benoit, but unfortunately for you it is time for me to fulfill my destiny. Unfortunately for you it is time for this feud to end. Unfortunately for you, you must feel the Raven Effect. DDP... didn't have to be like this Page. It didn't have to be like this. You and I, we could of ruled wrestling together, side by side. But a long time ago you deserted me. You turned your back on me and now there can be only one. I know the Snake is out there watching' and I know he'd want it this way. Welcome to the Terrordome. Quote the Raven Nevermore."

Raven pinned Chris Benoit with the Raven Effect in 0:11:57.
Rating: ***

After the match, Raven stands triumpant in the ring as DDP runs down through the crowd and slides into teh ring behind him. As Raven turns around, Page hits the Diamond Cutter and then escapes back into the crowd.

Footage is shown from last week of Kurt Angle defeating Rey Mysterio Jr. by making him pass out in the Ankle Lock.
Kurt Angle comes to the ring with a microphone.
KA: Last week, I proved that I still deserve to be in contention for the Western States Title by beating Rey Mysterio Jr. within an inch of his life. And yet, just because some punks beat up Shane Douglas in the parking lot, I'm sure that they're going to get a title shot before I do. But that's alright. I'll just do it the old fashioned way. I'll go through every man on the roster. So why don't one of you superstars come on out so I can make you tap. Come on, don't be scared. Don't all run out here at once. I don't care who it is....
3 Live Kru's music plays as Konnan comes out from the back.

Konnan defeated Kurt Angle by disqualification in 0:08:52.
Rating: ** 1/2

Footage is shown form High Stakes of Victoria interfering in the TLC match to help Kazarian & Striker retain the Western States Tag Team Title.

Melina and Joey Matthews defeated Victoria and Frankie Kazarian when Melina pinned Victoria with the Divastator in 0:18:09.
Rating: *** 1/4

Ted DiBiase comes to the ring.
TD: After what happened earlier tonight, I've come to a decision on what needs to happen. Shane Douglas said it last week. It's time to draw a line in the sand. Sothat's just what we will do. On July 17th in Las Vegas, NWA: West Coast will take on Third Coast Wrestling on pay per view. The name of the show will be just what it's all about: A Line In The Sand! This is the start of our fight for survival. A fight that we need to win. Anyone that crosses that line will be dealt with in our own special way. And to start this battle of wills off with a bang, this next match will be a battle royal to determine which one of our superstars will face off against any one member of their roster in the opening match right here next week. (laughs)

Mark Johnson is backstage with Elix Skipper:
MJ: Prime Time, now that your feud with Charlie Haas finally seems to have come to an end, you're getting your first chance since All Or Nothing at the Pacific Coast Title.
ES: I would have won the belt then if it wasn't for Haas. He was a thorn in my side for too long. But, now I can concentrate on more important things. Like getting what's rightfully mine off of Edge.
MJ: What do you think about the inpending "invasion"?
ES: I don't care about any of those second rate wrestlers from the "Third Coast". None of them can stop me from doing what I do best. And that's entertaining these people. I don't care who they bring in to try & shut us down. It just won't happen. But, first things first, I gotta keep my mind on tonight & winning that title.

Edge pinned Elix Skipper with the Spear in 0:07:23.
Rating: *** 1/2
(Edge retained the Pacific Coast Title.)
[Sean Waltman interfered against Edge.]
[Sean Waltman interfered against Elix Skipper.]

After the match:
Waltman got into the ring with a chair & laid out Edge. He motions to the crowd & 4 more men jump the barricade & get into the ring. They are recognized by the announcers as Michael Shane, Billy Gunn, & Rob Van Dam. All 4 beat on Skipper & Edge as the show goes off the air.

Card rating: *** 1/4

Card observations:

The invasion has begun!
Randy Orton, The Pitbulls, Sean Waltman, Colt Cabana, Apolo, Rob Van Dam, & Michael Shane have all come from the midwest's Third Coast Wrestling on behalf of the NWA to try & shut us down. Ted DiBiase said on July 17th on PPV that will make our stand. A Line in The Sand will be held at the Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas, Nevada. Will this be NWA: WC's last stand? Or can they turn back the challenge of the upstart 3CW?

Vampire Warrior won a battle royal to determine who will face off with a 3CW member in our opening match next week. Who will they send to face him?

Apolo ran in to even the sides when Kid Kash & Garrison Cade were double teaming Lance Hoyt. Even though he works for the competition, he wants to get ahold of Kash one more time.

In his own words, Raven has finished with Chris Benoit & is moving on to DDP. But, DDP struck the first blow in this new front of an on going war. Next Week they will go one on one.

Kurt Angle got dq'd for hitting the referee while in the Tequila Sunrise. Will he want to get back in the ring with Konnan next week? Or was the 3LK member too much of rthe frmer Olympic Gold winner?

Who were the 3 men that attacked Shane Douglas at the opening of the show? You would have to guess that they came from 3CW. But why bother hiding behind masks? Could it have been yet another challenge from somewhere else?

The Midnigth Rider pulled off his mask to reveal "The LEgend Killer" Randy Orton. You have to wonder if he was under the mask the whole time or if the "real" Rider will resurface.

Next Week:

Vampire Warrior vs Mystery 3CW member

Kid Kash & Garrison Cade vs Lance Hoyt & Apolo

The Pitbulls will face Kazraian & Striker in a non title match

Raven vs DDP

And after tonight's attack, Edge will face Sean Waltman in a non title match
