Welcome once again to the ASWA! We've got some big news that has been kept under tight lip until now. Scott "Flash" Norton, a man that Christopher Nowinski has had problems with for almost a year in the ASWA and even a little longer before that, is now officially under ASWA contract! His first match? Christopher Nowinski! But that's not all. We'll also see Kanyon take on C.W. Anderson, Jimmy Jacobs will face Gran Akuma who has not seen the same success as Gronda after the apparent dissolving of the Demonauts. Jon Dahmer will face Warlord, Ron Killings will wrestle Tony Mamaluke, Gronda will defend the Great American title against former champions Jeff Farmer and Sylvain Grenier, Todd Sexton will team up with Hector Garza to take on his former tag team partner Seth Skyfire and Skyfire's new partner Chase Stevens, Big show faces Roddy Piper, Buck Quartermain wrestles Vader, Booker T will face Cactus Jack and Sting in a triangle match and there will be a big 12-man tag team match featuring the bWo, Rey Mysterio, & Roadkill taking on The tag team champions the Caribbean Cartel, Chuck Palumbo & Johnny Stamboli and Kevin Nash & Brian Adams! And then there is the matter of the main event! Bret Hart/Cactus Jack 2 for the Heavyweight title!
We're shown the interview area in the back where Christopher Nowinski is standing with an ASWA reporter.
Reporter: Chris, we've just learned that Scott Norton, your rival, is not only under ASWA contract now, but will also be your opponent for tonight! Any thoughts?
Christopher Nowinski: Any thoughts? Any thoughts?! I can't believe this! I don't want to face Scott Norton again! I've done my time against that lummox. I've beat him and that should be...
Reporter: *interupting* But he's beaten you to
CN: *staring a hole through the reporter* He hasn't beaten me ONCE in a singles match on ASWA soil! And don't interupt me with your public school babblings! If theres one thing I know about it's A Grades and this right here is Grade A Crap! I shouldn't have to face Scott Norton again, I've proved I'm better.
Reporter: But if you've beaten Scott Norton twice, why are you so concerned about facing him again? Are you scared of Scott Norton?
With that comment Nowinski clocks the reporter, sending him crashing back into the interview area's background tarp. He stomps the poor reporter and punches him while he's on the ground until refs and security rip him off.

But then August rolls around and who gets the title shot against Grenier? Gronda. Not Rey Misterio, the man that pinned the champion the month before, but Gronda. I thought maybe I'd get a title shot two weeks ago, but no, nothing. And tonight? No title shot either. I don't care who the champion is after tonight, Gronda, Grenier, Farmer, it doesn't matter, I'll be gunning for you. I should have gotten my title shot last month, but I'm definitely going to get it next month.

Vader seemed a bit surprised at the level of offense Quartermain was willing to try and dish out to Vader and how readily he was willing to do it. He also seemed a bit taken by Quartermains ability to take some of Vader's most punishing jabs and hooks without faultering all that much. It was apparent though that Vader was too much for QUartermain and that it was a matter of time before he went down.
Vader: Is there no one in the ASWA that can make a worthy opponent for Vader? All I see around me are puny little wimps, no one of Vader's caliber. Just look at Ron Killings. I'm laying out a challenge for the next ASWA pay-per-view to anyone that thinks they're in Vader's league.
After the wrestlers for the next match have been introduced, Bret Hart's music suddenly hits.
Bret Hart: I know all you fans are looking forward to Bret Hart and Cactus Jack in the main event, but I'm making a little change. I'm the Heavyweight champion, I'm the back bone of this company, and with that responsibility comes some perks. With that being said, I'm gonna tell you straight out that I don't want to face Cactus Jack again. I didn't want to team with him two weeks ago and I certainly don't want to have to put my Heavyweight title on the line against him again. That's why in this match Cactus Jack will have to fight to keep his number one contender status. If Booker T or if Sting wins then I'll face them in the main event tonight instead of Cactus Jack!
Cactus doesn't seem happy about this. The crowd seems torn though. They were looking forward to seeing Cactus Jack, who is still a favorite or at least a dirty pleasure for some fans, take on Bret, but since Cactus turned on them almost 2 months ago the fans want to see guys who are still 'on their side' like Sting and Booker get a shot at the Hitman. But What an opportunity. Sting has been at odds with Hart for a year now and Cactus Jack was screwed out of his title shot against Hart last month thanks to the Scorpions. Not to mention that new comer Booker T has been given a great chance so early in his ASWA career. But if Cactus loses this match he also lose his official #1 contender status. A loss here means that not only doesn't he loses his #1 contender spot and must work his way back up to the position.

What a spectacular match up and what a way to cap off such a big card! We've got a new Heavyweight champion and both men look like they gave it their all! Hart is bleeding and is being helped out of the ring. Jack is bleeding as well and can barely stand as he is awarded the title. What a night! The PPV fades out of Jack, sitting, bleeding in the middle of the ring cradling the title with a maniacal smile on his face as despite the fact that he turned on the fans not too long ago, they cheer his performance and victory over Hart.
