Welcome to the ASWA's first anniversary show!
We're happy to say that we've been bringing
you great wrestling action each month on PPV
for a year now and not only that, but we've
got a fairly big announcement.  Starting
tonight, the ASWA will br bringing you TWO
pay-per-views a month!  That's right, now
you can get ASWA action twice as often!
But right now let's focus on tonight's line
up of matches.  We'll see the ASWA debut of
a young wrestler by the name of Jimmy Jacobs
as he faces Hardcore Revolution member Kanyon,
Blue Meanie & Stevie Richards will be joined
for one night only by former bWo member Nova
to take on Stevens & Skyfire who will have
Edge on their team also in a one night only
appearance, Scorpion members Jeff Farmer and
the Big Show will take on Palumbo & Stamboli
who the Big Show faced in a handicap match
three monthes ago and in tag match two
months ago with another Scorpion member Buck
Quartermain, but this time it'll be a
Streetfight.  We'll also see Kanyon and Tony
Mamaluke take on bWo members Shark Boy & Ultimo
Dragon and Todd Sexton & Hector Garza, newcomer
C.W. Anderson will debut against Cactus Jack,
Ron Killings and Great American champion Gronda
in a non-title 4-corners match, Booker T, Roddy Piper
and Christopher Nowinski will be in triple threat
action and in the main event, #1 contender for the
Heavyweight title Cactus Jack and the Heavyweight
champion himself Bret Hart will team up to face
Scorpions leader Sting and Buck Quartermain.  Cactus
and Bret both have beef with Sting and all three
were also the men that a year ago faced eachother
in a triple threat match in the main event, so it's
only fitting that these three men are once again
in this position.  Cactus' problems with Sting only
really stem back a week, Bret's however stem back to
almost the whole year really, but can Jack and Hart
work well enough as a team to dispose of a common
enemy?

Cactus has officially gotten revenge
on Sting for not only the comments
that Sting had made against the
hardcore legend a few weeks ago, but
also for screwing him out of his chance
to be the ASWA Heavyweight champion
last month.  Both Sting and Quartermain
look like they've been taken to the limit
and only barely survived.  It only went
for just under 18 minutes but a brutal
battle it was indeed wrestling fans.
The PPV ends with Cactus Jack and Bret Hart
staring eachother down and you could cut the
tension with a knife.

The ASWA is officially one year old and what a year it has been.  Since it's the end of ASWA's first year, if you would like to place votes for most liked, most hated, best match, most surprising moment, ect. ASWA would love to hear from you, but we will not be setting up any formal polls.

The ASWA is all set to rock the Huntington Civic Center in West Virginia on September the 26th with what should be a big card.  So far we're set to see Kanyon and C.W. Anderson in singles action, Jimmy Jacobs will face Gran Akuma, Jon Dahmer tries his luck against the Warlord, Ron Killings faces Tony Mamaluke, Gronda will try and defend his Great American title against not one but TWO former ASWA Great American champions, Jeff Farmer & Sylvain Grenier!  Todd Sexton will team up with Hector Garza to face former friend Seth Skyfire and his partner Chase Stevens, Big Show will take on Roddy Piper, Buck Quartermain will go one on one with Vader, Booker T, Cactus Jack & Sting will square off in a triangle match, and there will be a BIG 12-man tag team match that will see the bWo, Rey Misterio Jr & Roadkill taking on the tag team champions the Caribbean Cartel, Palumbo, Stamboli, Kevin Nash & Brian Adams!  And we can't forget that the ASWA Heavyweight champion Bret "The Hitman" Hart will also be in Huntington so anything could happen.

JIMMY JACOBS!  Was wondering when you'd bring him in.  Good showing, but Hardcore Revolution continues to roll.

Ron Killings and Vader just need to hug.  They'd be a lot happier.

Awww... poor Nova.

THE ONLY BUTS IN HARDCORE ARE HEADBUTTS! is fantastic.  Kanyon certainly proved his worth to Cactus.  That turned out well. :)

Great blowoff to Vader/Killings with a ***** streetfight.  Bravo.

Cactus keeps winning.  Cactus/Bret will be good.
americamamushiPosted on 06/27/05 at 04:01:26

Yes, I was pleased with the Cactus Jack dialogue.  :)  Delivered in that way that only Cactus can.

I was surprised that Vader & Killings got 5 stars in a streetfight too.  Good for them I guess. :)

A brand new match has been added to the next ASWA PPV.  It's official, Cactus Jack WILL face Bret Hart for the Heavyweight title!  He's opted to take his new title shot sooner than later and this could prove to be the BIGGEST card of the year.
