[Dark Match]:
Ken Shamrock pinned Kanyon after a Frankensteiner in 0:06:10.
Rating: ** 3/4

(GWA Anarchy begins as the camera pans the crowd. The announcers go over the big matches so far: Chris Jericho vs. CIMA and Ultimo Dragon vs. Christopher Daniels in the first round of the North American Title tournament. Also, AJ Styles and Christian take on the Young Lions to see who the #1 contenders to the Tag Team Titles held by Chris Benoit and Ken Shamrock are. In addition, due to last week's events, there will be a triple threat match for the T.V. Title between Edge, Elix Skipper, and Taz. But now, we're starting off in the ring. "Los Tres Delinquentes" by Delinquent Habits plays as Los Guerreros walk to the ring, with Tajiri stalking a little behind. The Guerreros taunt the fans and all three men enter the ring. Next, "Final Resistance" by Dark Tranquillity plays as Jerry Lynn walks out with his arms raised. He stands at the bottom of the ramp as "Edge of the Earth" by 30 Seconds to Mars plays, bringing out Red, who stands next to Lynn. Finally, "Symphony of the Dead" by Therion plays as Rey Misterio Jr. walks out. He joins his partners, then all three men enter the ring.)

[Guerreros/Tajiri vs. Lynn/Red/Misterio]

Eddie and Red start out. Red hits a couple chops and tries to pelt Eddie with kicks, but Eddie manages to cover up for most of them. Red then whips Eddie into the ropes before planting him with a spinning leg lariat. The announcers speculate that Red's trying to make up for getting pinned by Eddie on Anarchy as Red brings him up and hits a few punches. He tries to whip him into the ropes again, but Eddie reverses into a short clothesline. He tags in Tajiri, who walks in and hits Red hard in the back with a soccer kick. Red rolls to his corner and tags in Lynn, who comes in and knocks Tajiri down with a lariat. Tajiri gets up quickly, but Lynn kicks him in the midsection and goes for the Cradle Piledriver, but Tajiri easily kicks him in the head to get out of it. Lynn stumbles and Tajiri wipes him out with a savate kick. Lynn's obviously let Tajiri's actions over the past few weeks get to him. Tajiri brings Lynn up and whips him into the ropes before hitting a handspring elbow and covering for a near fall. He hits a couple stomps and tags in Chavo. Both men bring Lynn up and hit a double vertical suplex. Chavo then chokes away at Lynn while Tajiri knocks Misterio and Red off the apron. He goes back to his corner as Chavo brings Lynn up and drops him with a backbreaker. Chavo climbs to the top rope and flies off with a frog splash, but Lynn manages to roll out of the way. Both men get up and trade punches, but Lynn gets the upperhand with a kneesmash. Lynn then tries to hit Chavo with a kick to the midsection, but his foot is caught. Lynn hits an enzuigiri to take Chavo down, then makes the hot tag to Misterio. Misterio comes in via a springboard legdrop to Chavo. Eddie comes in, but Misterio takes him down with a backdrop. Tajiri tries to attack him, but Red cuts him off and hits a few palm blows followed by a spinning enzuigiri. Meanwhile, Chavo slowly gets up and Misterio puts him down with a rana for two. Both men get up and Misterio runs into the ropes, but Chavo hits him with a powerslam. He runs over to knock Lynn off the apron, but Lynn blocks his punch and responds with one of his own. Chavo pokes Lynn in the eyes, then tries to put a shoulder into his gut, but Lynn jumps over him and brings down a leg on the back of Chavo's neck, perching him on the middle rope. Misterio then runs and hits the 619 to take Chavo down. Misterio goes for the West Coast Pop, but Eddie pulls his legs out from under him and makes him hit the apron face first. Tajiri and Red are fighting on the floor, so Lynn reenters the ring and kicks a groggy Chavo in the stomach. He then lifts him up, connects his hands and drills him with the Cradle Piledriver. He covers and everyone else is too busy fighting to notice the three.

Jerry Lynn, The Amazing Red and Rey Misterio Jr. defeated Los Guerreros and Tajiri when J. Lynn pinned Chavo Jr. with the Cradle Piledriver in 0:11:00.
Rating: ** 1/2

(After the match, Eddie whips Misterio into the guardrail, then pulls Chavo out of the ring. He walks to the back, yelling at Lynn and Misterio the whole way.

The camera then cuts to Ultimo Dragon, who is lacing up his boots.)

???: Good luck.

(Ultimo Dragon slowly turns to see CIMA standing next to him. He looks a little puzzled, and CIMA spits in his face! Ultimo Dragon moves to lunge at CIMA, but CIMA slaps him in the face. CIMA then backs away laughing as Ultimo Dragon seethes.)

(The camera then cuts to Tully Blanchard's office, where Quiet Storm and Trinity have already entered.)

TB: And what can I do for you two today?

T: I'm sure you know who this man is. Quiet Storm signed with the GWA just so he could fight the best and beat the best. But you haven't given him a chance.

TB: As I recall, he was in the TV Title tournament and the Cruiserweight Title battle royal. After that, it's what you make of yourself. It's not like I'm going to put him in the North American Title tournament, he hasn't proven himself.

T: But that's why we're coming to you. Quiet Storm wants a match. He wants to show the world just what he can do.

TB: Fine. You know what, I'll help you out this once. Go out tonight, and I'll give you someone to wrestle.

(Trinity looks a little startled, but Quiet Storm smiles.)

QS: Thanks. That will do.

(Trinity and Quiet Storm leave as the camera cuts back to the ring. "Jesus Christ Pose" by Soundgarden then plays as Chris Jericho walks to the ring. He scoffs at the fans and then steps into through the ropes. He gets a mic and speaks.)

CJ: That's right, ladies and gents, your paragon of virtue has arrived. Now that Blanchard was so nice to put my first match in this tournament against ZIMA, all my Jerichoholics will get to see me beat the crap out of some lesser assclown. And I hope Chris Benoit's watching, because some day soon, this will be you. And you will never feel the same...again. So ZIMA, come on out and I'll show you what a true showstopper looks like.

("Yatahaze" by dredg plays as CIMA walks to the ring. He looks at Jericho and smiles. He steps through the ropes and then turns to his opponent.)

[Chris Jericho vs. CIMA]

Jericho tries to lockup with CIMA, but pokes him in the eye at the last second. CIMA staggers back and Jericho hits him with a dropkick. He stomps away at CIMA and then hits an elbowdrop to the back. Jericho turns to taunt the crowd and CIMA takes the opportunity to blast him with a forearm. He shoves Jericho into the corner and hits a huge chop. Jericho staggers out of the corner, but CIMA pushes him back and hits another chop. He then whips Jericho into the other corner and follows in with a dropkick. Jericho falls to the mat in a head and CIMA heads to the outside. He grabs Jericho's legs and then pulls him crotchfirst into the ringpost. CIMA reenters the ring and goes to the other corner. He runs at Jericho then jumps and hits a falling dropkick to his head. Jericho manages to roll out of the ring and holds his head. He turns around and CIMA dives onto him with a slingshot plancha! Jericho manages to get out of the way, so CIMA hits the ground hard. Jericho rolls CIMA back in, then reenters the ring himself. CIMA tries to get up, but Jericho runs at him and takes him down with a faceslam. He then runs into the ropes and hits the Lionsault. He hooks the leg, but CIMA gets his shoulder up just before three. Jericho throws a tantrum, then covers again, but CIMA kicks out at two this time. Jericho brings CIMA up and rams his head into the turnbuckle. He hits a couple kicks in the corner, but CIMA manages to catch him with a couple forearms, then grabs him and hits a sitdown jawbreaker. Jericho moves back, holding his jaw and CIMA gets to his feet. Jericho turns around and CIMA pops him with a superkick. He lazily makes the cover and Jericho gets his shoulder up at two. CIMA gets up, but notices Ultimo Dragon, who had come out to the entryway a little earlier, is looking at him. Dragon motions for CIMA to fight him, and CIMA steps to the apron and stares at Dragon. However, Jericho gets up and then hits CIMA with a backspring dropkick that sends him chestfirst into the guardrail. Dragon walks down the aisle and, as CIMA is trying to shake off the pain, spits CIMA in the face. He then retreats back up the aisle as CIMA gets up and chases after him, enraged. He doesn't even notice that the ref is counting him out.

[North American Title Tournament - Round 1]:
Chris Jericho defeated CIMA by countout in 0:10:24.
Rating: * 1/2

(After the match, Jericho celebrates, but the crowd erupts as Chris Benoit comes through the crowd and hops the guardrail. He then slides under the rope and surprises Jericho with a series of chops. He whips Jericho into the ropes and takes him down with a lariat. Jericho decides to roll out of the ring rather than take any more damage. The camera then cuts to the Young Lions, who are entering the arena. York has the Cruiserweight Title around his waist, while Matthews walks next to him.)

CY: Just think, after tonight, we can be the #1 contenders to the Tag Team Titles.

JM: Yeah, we can get a title match whenever we want. Even though that means we'd have to fight Shamrock again.

CY: So he beat you last time. So what?

JM: You didn't see him. The man's crazy. He's lost a few screws.

???: And what makes you think that'll matter?

(AJ Styles and Christian walk into the shot.)

AS: Because to get to them, you'd have to get past us. And we all know that's not going to happen.

JM: Oh really? See the way I remember, we're beating you two right and left.

C: Look, it doesn't matter how many times you got lucky. My peeps want to see me and AJ Styles win this match and beat those two reekazoids Benoit and Shamrock and get the belts that should have been ours in the first place.

AS: And we will take you out in the process.

CY: Isn't that what you said Saturday? And didn't I beat you anyway?

AS: Like my partner said, you've gotten lucky. But guess what, your luck's run out. Maybe we didn't take you seriously before. But tonight, we will make sure that you do not win.

(Styles and Christian smirk and then back away, leaving the Young Lions to just shrug their shoulders and keep walking. The camera then cuts to Taz, who is being interviewed by Adam Bramledge.)

AB: So Taz, you came to the GWA last week and debuted against Edge. Due to the...

T: Why don't you just shut up? I'll tell you what happened. Last week, I took on that pretty boy Edge. I was going to win the TV Title in my first night here. But just as I had that punk choked out, time was up. Put plain and simple: Edge got lucky.

AB: But due to Elix Skipper's actions last week, there will now be a triple threat match for the title this week.

T: Yeah, that jackass Skipper put his nose where it didn't belong. He hit me. HE HIT ME. So I hit back. And harder. So there's a triple threat match? That's fine. That just means there's one more piece of **** to choke out. Do either of them actually think I'm scared of them? Do they think I'm worried? I grew up in Hell's Kitchen. I grew up around killers, hustlers, robbers, and whatever else. To survive, I had to be better than all of them. I had to be stronger than all of them. I had to be a better fighter. I had to be willing to do things that they wouldn't even think of doing. And when I had to do one of those terrible things, I made sure that no one would ever mess with me again. All the thugs, the bangers, they all feared me. And that's what's going to happen to you two boys. I will make you fear me. I will make the GWA fear me. So beat me if you can...survive...if I let you.

(The camera then cuts to the ring, where Kurt Angle is already standing with a mic.)

KA: Thank you, thank you! Now I'm sure that all of you people in Jacksonville are excited to finally see a true man...a man among men...a man who proved he was the best at what he does. Which is wrestle. Now, when I came to the GWA, I was not prepared for the sheer underhandedness of the other wrestlers that have signed here. Like Ken Shamrock, a man who is clearly insane, a man who does not have the integrity to respect the referees or the intelligence to hold his rage under control. So he beat me. I admit, it's my fault. I'm not used to dealing with his sort. Oh it's true, it's true. But on Saturday, on Ground Zero, as you all saw, I beat him. I beat him in the middle of the ring. I got my win back. So tonight, I want to keep on beating the people that got fluke wins on me. Because after all, all of you deserve to see an Olympic hero do what he does best. Which brings me to Rhyno, the man who has so little integrity that he would attack a man from behind, even before the bell sounds. So Rhyno, if you've got the guts, come out here and let a real wrestler take you to school.

(Angle waits a couple seconds, then "Raining Blood" by Slayer plays as Rhyno runs to the ring. He slides under the ropes and the bell sounds.)

[Kurt Angle vs. Rhyno]

Rhyno rushes at Angle and knocks him down with a right hand. Angle pops up, but Rhyno hits him with a couple more punches and knocks him to the floor. Angle tries to run away, but Rhyno catches up to him and then throws him into the guardrail. Rhyno hits a chop, but Angle responds with a low blow!  Rhyno keels over and Angle tosses him into the ringsteps. Angle rolls Rhyno back into the ring and stomps at him. Angle hammers Rhyno with a series of forearms to the back, but Rhyno starts rising to his feet. Eventually, he pushes Angle backward and then pounces on him with a lariat. He brings Angle to his feet and brings him down with a huge power bomb for a near fall. He lifts Angle into the air and slams him down hard, then hits an elbowdrop. He then stands by the corner and waits for Angle to get up. When he does, Rhyno runs at him for the Gore, but Angle sidesteps it and throws Rhyno shoulderfirst into the ringpost. Angle rolls Rhyno up but only gets two. Both men get up, but Angle hits a couple punches and kicks Rhyno's bad arm. He then grabs it and hits an armbreaker, sending Rhyno down in pain. He stomps away at the arm and then hits a hard stomp to Rhyno's head. Rhyno slowly gets up and tries to shake off the pain, but Angle grabs him and brings him down with a waistlock suplex. Rhyno stumbles to his feet and Angle moves behind him and hits the Angle Slam! He then covers for three.

Kurt Angle pinned Rhyno with the Angle Slam in 0:07:10.
Rating: *** 1/2

(Kurt Angle has certainly managed to get a measure of revenge against Rhyno for pinning him in the inaugural show of the GWA. After the match, Angle continues to stomp away at Rhyno, then brings him up and hits another Angle Slam. He pulls down the straps and goes for the Ankle Lock when "This Means War!!" by Busta Rhymes plays as the Rock runs to the ring. Angle bails and the Rock gets a mic.)

RM: Finally...the Rock has come back to Jacksonville! Now, Kurt Angle, the Rock heard you talking earlier about how you were the best wrestler alive.

(Angle holds up his medal in response.)

RM: Well, the Rock thinks you forgot somebody, namely...uh...the Rock. You forgot the most electrifying man in sports entertainment today. But the Rock will tell you what. How about you take on the Rock on Ground Zero? How about you go one-on-one with the Great One? What do you have to say about that.

(Angle gets a mic.)

KA: What do I have to say? I say no. You're not in my league.

RM: So Kurt Angle's chicken. The Rock gets it. Little Kurt doesn't want to get embarrassed.

KA: The Kurt...dammit, now you've got me doing it...I don't need to wrestle you. I've proven I'm the best. Look at this medal. I got it with a broken freakin' neck. What have you ever done that you are, without a doubt, the best in the world at? Not a thing. The truth is, unless you're a cheater like that lummox at your feet, there's no way you can beat me. It's true...it's damn true.

(Angle throws down the mic and then walks to the back.)

RM: Fine Kurt, if you want to run like a dog with his tail between his legs, the Rock understands. The Rock would be scared to face the Rock too. But that doesn't mean that the Rock's just going to let you go.

(The Rock then drops the mic and leaves the ring, chasing after Angle. Angle then runs to the back as the Rock takes a few steps on the entryway. The camera then cuts to Commissioner Blanchard's office. Triple X then walks in.)

Christopher Daniels: You wanted to see us Blanchard?

TB: Commissioner Blanchard.

CD: Your desired title is of no importance.

TB: Anyway, I'm just letting everyone know that all the matches in the North American Title tournament are to be no-interference affairs. I saw what you did in Low Ki's match against the Rock and what Ultimo Dragon did in the Jericho/CIMA match, and I'm not having any more. If you interfere in one of these matches, I will suspend you. Is that clear?

CD: Of course. I do not require assistance in dispatching Ultimo Dragon anyway. Neither did Low Ki require assistance against the Rock, who merely had a fortunate couple of moves.

TB: Good to hear. Since your match is the next tournament match, I just wanted to make sure you knew. I also don't want either of you at ringside at the triple threat match for the TV Title tonight.

CD: You know Blanchard, the time of reckoning is coming. It is near time for you to choose your side. Will you accept the coming change, or will you be swept away by it?

TB: Hmm...why don't you just get out of my office.

CD: Mock me all you like. But never say I did not give you fair warning.

(Triple X leaves and the camera follows them.)

CD: Tonight will be a glorious night in the fruition of our plan. Tonight, I will destroy Ultimo Dragon. Tonight, Elix will win the TV Title from Edge and Taz.

ES: No doubt. It's Prime Time's time.

(Daniels looks over at Low Ki.)

CD: And Low Ki, you did well against the Rock. He was merely fortunate on Ground Zero. As for tonight, just find someone and destroy them.

(Low Ki smiles.)

CD: Soon, very soon, we will show everyone the light, the future, and the way. And they will embrace the light. Yes, they will allow themselves to be enveloped in its glorious rapture.

(The camera then shifts to Edge.)

Edge: So Taz wants to say I got lucky. He wants to think that he choked me out. Let him. You see, I'm sure a lot of people think that I wouldn't win the belt in the first place, let alone hold it for any period of time. But this belt is my life. It is my woman. It is my child. It is my legacy. I will not lose it. I will not just let myself get pinned for it. And I certainly will not tap out to lose it. If you want this, you're going to have to kill me first. And honestly Taz, I don't think you can. Elix Skipper, you've wanted a piece of me for a while now. But now, you're going to see exactly what that means. And after tonight, I think I'll be rid of you once and for all.

(The camera then cuts to the ring, where "Beethoven's 5th" by Steve Vai plays as Quiet Storm walks to the ring, flanked by Trinity. They step through the ropes and enter the ring, then look to the entryway for his opponent. A few seconds pass, then "Whatever" by Our Lady Peace plays as Chris Benoit walks to the entryway. He raises his arms in the air and walks to the ring. Trinity looks distraught, but Quiet Storm just squeezes his hands together. Benoit steps through the ropes as Trinity leaves the ring and the bell rings.)

[Quiet Storm vs. Chris Benoit]

Storm runs at Benoit and hits him with a couple forearm smashes. He whips Benoit into the ropes and catches him with a knee to the stomach. Storm hits a couple kicks to the midsection, but Benoit catches the third and spins him around. He hits a forearm to the back to send Storm sprawling to the canvas. Benoit brings Storm up and whips him into the ropes, then takes his head off with a lariat. Storm tries to roll out of the ring, but Benoit stomps away at him, then brings him up again. He whips him into the ropes and brings him down with a backdrop. Storm qoozily gets up and Benoit goes for a German suplex, but Storm breaks out of it with a couple elbowsmashes. He then turns and blasts him with the Roaring Elbow! He makes the cover, but Benoit kicks out just in time. Storm climbs to the top rope and jumps off with a flying dropkick, but Benoit sidesteps it. Benoit then brings Storm to his feet and hits a headbutt to stagger Storm. He whips Storm into the ropes, but Storm tries to roll Benoit up with a Victory Roll. Benoit catches him and then brings him backward with a huge release German suplex! Benoit then makes a throat slash and climbs to the top rope. He flies off with a flying headbutt, but Storm rolls out of the way. Benoit gets up slowly and Storm quickly brings him down with a Russian legsweep. Storm brings Benoit up and grabs his arms for a dragon suplex, but Benoit blocks it. Benoit then steps on Storm's foot to make release his grasp and then rolls behind him, grabbing his arm and driving him down to apply the Crippler Crossface! Storm fights for a few seconds, but then decides to just tap out.

Chris Benoit made Quiet Storm submit to the Crippler Crossface in 0:08:28.
Rating: ** 1/2

(After the match, Benoit waits for Quiet Storm to get up, then offers his hand. Storm shakes it and Benoit leaves the ring, leaving Quiet Storm to hang his head over his loss. The camera then cuts to Edge getting ready, Elix Skipper stretching and Taz sitting in a chair with a towel over his head. The triple threat match is next!)

(Off the break, we go to the ring, where "Simple Man" by the Grouch plays as Elix Skipper walks to the ring. He raises his arms in the air, then steps through the ropes and goes to a corner. "Swamp Thing" by Juno Reactor then plays as Taz walks down the aisle with a towel over his head. He steps through the ropes, takes off the towel, then stands in another corner. "Ticks and Leeches" by Tool plays as Edge then walks down the aisle. He smiles at the fans, then slides under the ropes and hands the belt over to the referee. He stands in between Skipper and Taz.)

[Elix Skipper vs. Taz vs. Edge]

All three men will be in the ring at all times. Taz comes out and hits Edge with some forearms, but Skipper takes Taz down with an axhandle to the back. He stomps away at Taz, but Edge pops Skipper with a lariat. Taz sweeps Edge off his feet and all three men get up and standoff. Skipper kicks Edge in the midsection, then turns and hits Taz with a quick lariat. He goes back to Edge, who lifts him up into the air and hits a flapjack. Edge gets up, but Taz is there to push him into the corner. Taz then hits a couple punches to the body and grabs Edge's hair before throwing him to the mat. Taz brings Skipper up and whips him into the ropes, bringing him down with a waistlock suplex when he comes back. Edge gets up, but Taz grabs him and brings him down with an T-Bone tazplex. Skipper gets up, but Taz clotheslines him over the top rope. Taz moves toward Edge, but Edge grabs him and slings him into the turnbuckle. Taz staggers out and Edge grabs him then drops him with a back suplex. He hits a couple stomps, then drops an elbow on him. He makes the cover, but Taz kicks out at two. Edge brings Taz up and kicks him in the midsection, then grabs him for the Edge-a-Cution, but Skipper hits him from behind. Taz hits a Northern Lights suplex, but Skipper immediately breaks up the pin. He stomps away at both men, but Taz manages to reach his feet. Taz takes a couple punches and responds with one of his own to knock Skipper down. Skipper pops back up and Taz runs at him only to get hit with a spin kick. Edge tries to pick Skipper up for a bodyslam, but Skipper slides down his back and then hits a dropkick to the back of his head. Skipper gets to his feet and runs up to Taz, bringing him down with a Frankensteiner. He gets his shoulder up at two. Skipper gets up, but Edge hits him from behind with a spinning leg lariat. He stomps at Skipper, but Taz comes up from behind and takes him down with a release German tazplex. Skipper slowly gets to his feet, but Taz grabs him and hits a head-and-arm tazplex. He then brings him up and locks in the Tazmission. Skipper fights it, but it's obvious that he's losing the battle. Meanwhile, Edge is crawling over to the two of them. Skipper tries to get to the ropes, but Taz pulls him back to the center of the ring. However, he also takes them closer to Edge, who gets to his knees and hits Taz and Skipper with a low blow. Taz breaks the hold and falls to the mat. Edge rolls Skipper up and gets the three.

Triangle Match:
Edge defeated Elix Skipper and Taz when Edge pinned Skipper after an inside cradle in 0:08:33.
Rating: ** 1/2
(Edge retained the GWA T.V. Title.)

(After the match, Edge leaves the ring and gets the belt back from the timekeeper. He raises it in the air as the camera fades to Chris Jericho in the back.)

CJ: You know Benoit, I'm getting a little sick and tired of you. We've been fighting a lot since we came in the GWA, and I think it's about time that I get rid of you once and for all. So I'm challenging you to a match on Ground Zero. This way, you can't attack me from behind like you like to. I'm the Ayatollah of Rock and Rollah! People pay to see me. They don't want to see you attack me from behind. They want to see me beat you like the dog you are. And that is just what I'll do. And like I said earlier, afterward, you will never feel the same again.

(The camera then cuts to the ring, where "Knife Prty" by the Deftones plays as Matt Hardy walks to the ring. He raises his arms in the air, then enters the ring, climbs to the middle turnbuckle, and does it again. "Burning Angel" by Arch Enemy then plays as Low Ki comes out. He slaps the ground, then walks to the ring. He steps through the ropes and the match begins.)

[Matt Hardy vs. Low Ki]

Hardy and Low Ki lock up and Hardy gets the upperhand with an armwringer. However, Low Ki flips out of it and reverses the hold, sending Hardy to the mat. He gets up only to be pelted with a few kicks to the chest. Low Ki whips Hardy into the ropes and catches him with a kick to the head. He hits a couple stomps and Hardy sweeps Low Ki's leg out from under him. He pounces on Low Ki and hits a series of punches. He brings Low Ki to his feet and whips him into the corner. He follows in, but Low Ki catches him with a koppo kick. Hardy goes down in a heap and Low Ki nails a flashing elbowdrop. He covers for two. Hardy gets to his feet and immediately ducks a thrust kick from Low Ki. He kicks him in the midsection, then goes for the Twist of Fate, but Low Ki pushes him off and chest-first into the corner. Hardy staggers back and Low Ki nails him with an enzuigiri. He then brings Hardy up and hits the Ki Krusher for three.

Low Ki pinned Matt Hardy with the Ki Krusher in 0:04:57.
Rating: ***

(And Low Ki has definitely done what Christopher Daniels asked of him: he has destroyed Matt Hardy. Low Ki just stands over Hardy and motions that a belt is his. The camera then fades to a pre-recorded statement. There's a lightbulb hanging from a chain, swinging back and forth. When it goes back, you can see a figure, but can't make him out.)

Man: Humans are funny creatures. No matter the trials, the tribulations, humans perservere. Through floods, plagues, wars, people have hope. They believe. They think that their lives will be better. And so, they continue to make societies, homes, friends, prosperities...all the while ignoring the natural law of the universe. Entropy. Chaos results from order...not the other way around. All the trappings of wealth and progress built by humanity are fleeting, continuously torn down by an unforgiving world. And yet, people perservere.

(Pause.)

Man: It's often asked what the meaning of life is. But there is no meaning. But why, you may ask. Why would we be put here for nothing? Surely something must come out of our experiences...that the problems we face are not for nothing. But they are. We are here for nothing but the amusement of a perverse Soul. A bored Creator. Imagine that you have a pet, say a guinea pig. His world is his cage. He can do nothing but run in his wheel. But he never moves any distance. He merely runs in place, fighting an eternal struggle that he cannot possibly win. And all simply for your amusement. And in the grand scheme of things, that's all we are. We are merely playthings. Life is merely an attempt to move along the wheel, yet always running in place.

(He laughs.)

Man: I'm sure you're asking yourself why you should believe me. How could I possibly know?

(The chain is grabbed, stopping the light. He pulls the chain back, revealing his face.)

Jake Roberts: Trust me...

(Roberts laughs as the camera cuts to the ring.)

("Whatever" by Our Lady Peace plays as Chris Benoit and Ken Shamrock come out wearing their Tag Team Title belts. They then go to the announce table to do guest commentary. "Lounge Act" by Nirvana plays as the Young Lions walk to the ring. They slap hands with the fans, then step through the ropes. "God Hates a Coward" then plays as AJ Styles and Christian walk out. Christian has a chair and holds it in the air as they walk down the aisle. Christian leaves the chair on the outside of the ring and both men get in the ring. They enter a staredown as the bell rings.)

[The Young Lions vs. AJ Styles and Christian]

Matthews and Styles start out. They lock up and Matthews puts Styles in a headlock, then takes him to the mat. Styles uses a headscissors to get out of it. Matthews pulls his head out and quickly gets to his feet. He runs into the ropes, but Christian knees him in the back. He staggers out only to be hit with a dropkick from Styles. Styles stomps on him hard, then runs into the ropes and goes for a somersault senton. Matthews moves out of the way, making Styles hit hard. Matthews hits a couple stomps then tries to bring him up, but Styles surprises him with a kick to the head. Styles then hits a kip-up Frankensteiner and tags in Christian. Christian charges at Matthews and takes him down with an axhandle. He brings Matthews up and whips him into the ropes, but Matthews responds with a flying clothesline. He then rolls to his corner and tags in York. York enters and immediately hits Christian with a dropkick. Styles comes in, but York puts him down with a tilt-a-whirl slam. Christian gets up and York hits a flying forearm. Matthews enters the ring as York brings Christian up. Matthews then hits a dropkick as York brings him down with a German suplex! Styles breaks up the count before three and then surprises Matthews with a spin kick. Meanwhile, York brings Christian up, but Christian hits a kneesmash to keel York over. He hits a European uppercut to send him to the corner before following in with a lariat. York staggers out, but Christian grabs him by the hair and pulls him close before delivering an inverted DDT. Christian hits another chair shot to the Rock, and then one more to Daniels. Styles and Christian then stare at Benoit and Shamrock and taunt them. The announcers wonder if Benoit let the Rock get beat up to soften him up for when they had to wrestle in the North American Title tournament.)

(The camera then cuts to the back, where Kurt Angle is walking out of the building, looking nervously over his shoulder. Eddie Guerrero walks up to him.)

EG: Scared esse?

KA: What are you talking about? Of course not. I'm just watching my back, since people, like you, I might add, always seem to want to attack me from behind.

EG: You're not still mad about that are you? Look holmes, you're in my way of the North American Title. And I'm going to lie, cheat, and steal my way to that belt. It's the Guerrero way.

KA: Look, that might work against Rey Misterio, but I am an Olympic gold medallist, a hero to millions. But you wouldn't know about that, would you, since you don't have any integrity.

EG: Whatever you say esse.

(Guerrero looks behind Angle.)

EG: Oh look, it's the Rock.

KA: WHERE!?

(Angle looks around for a second, then ducks into the nearest thing, which happens to be a Port-a-Potty.)

EG: Oh yeah, I'm real worried.

(Guerrero tips over the Port-a-Potty and leaves laughing as Angle screams. The camera then cuts to the locker rooms, where Ultimo Dragon is stretching and Daniels is standing in front of Triple X with his arms out. The main event is next!)

(Off the break, we go to the ring, where "Underworld" by Anathema plays as Ultimo Dragon walks to the ring. He jumps over the ropes, then climbs on the turnbuckle and folds his arms. "Head Like a Hole" by Nine Inch Nails then plays as Christopher Daniels comes out alone. He has his head down and his arms out as he walks down the aisle, then he takes off the hood and enters the ring. He removes his robe and tosses it over the top rope, then removes his shades and places them on the apron.)
