[Dark Match]:
Quiet Storm beat CIMA with the Storm Cradle Driver in 0:04:16.
Rating: *** 1/4

(Fireworks go off as GWA Anarchy begins! The camera pans over the crowd, then focuses on the ring, where Commissioner Blanchard, as usual, is standing.)

TB: I'd like to thank all of you one more time for coming out to watch tonight's show. Tonight, in this very ring, we will have the entire tournament for the GWA Tag Team Titles. Eight teams were selected and put into a lottery to see who their first round matchups would be. And they are:

Los Guerreros vs. Chris Benoit and Ken Shamrock!

(Crowd pops at that.)

The Young Lions vs. The Amazing Red and Ultimo Dragon!

(Crowd pops at the Young Lions, less so for their opponents.)

Chris Jericho and Kurt Angle vs. Low Ki and Elix Skipper!

(Crowd boos.)

Christian and AJ Styles vs. Rey Misterio Jr. and Jerry Lynn!

(Crowd pops for Misterio and Lynn.)

TB: The winners of those four matches will face each other in two semifinal matches later on, and the winners of those two matches will fight in the main event here tonight! And starting on Ground Zero, we will begin the North American Title Tournament. The 16 participants have already been decided: Kurt Angle, The Rock, Chris Jericho, Chris Benoit, Rhyno, AJ Styles, Christopher Daniels, Ken Shamrock, Lance Storm, Ultimo Dragon, The Amazing Red, CIMA, Christian, Rey Misterio Jr., Eddie Guerrero, and Low Ki. However, the pairings have not. But now, let's start the tournament!

(Blanchard leaves the ring as "Los Tres Delinquentes" by Delinquent Habits plays. Los Guerreros walk to the ring and jaw with the fans a bit. They then step through the ropes and start stretching a little. "Whatever" by Our Lady Peace then plays as Chris Benoit walks out to the entryway. He stands at the top of the aisle as "Them Bones" by Alice in Chains plays. Ken Shamrock then joins Benoit at the aisle. The two men bump forearms and then walk to the ring and slide under the ropes.)

[Los Guerreros vs. Chris Benoit and Ken Shamrock]

Los Guerreros start stomping away at Benoit and Shamrock as they enter the ring. Eddie brings Benoit up and whips him into the ropes before putting him down with a lariat. Chavo punches away at Shamrock in the corner. However, Shamrock blocks a punch and then hits Chavo with one of his own followed by a lariat. He then throws Eddie over the top rope and follows. Chavo and Benoit both get up and Benoit hits a kick to the midsection. Chavo responds with an eyepoke and a couple punches. He then hits a vertical suplex and goes for an elbowdrop, but Benoit moves out of the way. Chavo gets up slowly and Benoit tries to hit him with a lariat, but misses. Chavo tries to respond with a lariat of his own, but Benoit ducks and quickly grabs from behind. He hits a German suplex and bridges for the surprise three.

[Tag Team Title Tournament - Quarterfinal]:

Rating: ** 1/4

(Chris Benoit and Ken Shamrock are the first team to get to the semifinals! They'll face the winner of the next match later on. But as for now, Chavo throws a tantrum as Eddie realizes they've lost. He cheapshots Shamrock from behind and sends him into the ringpost. He then jumps over the guardrail and leaves through the crowd. Chavo rolls out of the ring and sulks to the back while Benoit checks on his partner.

After that, we go to the back where Chris Jericho and Kurt Angle are discussing strategy.)

CJ: So, we've got to fight those two assclowns from Triple X.

KA: Yeah. It shouldn't be too much trouble for an Olympic gold medallist to handle.

CJ: But these two will probably cheat just like everybody else. Look at Low Ki. That guy can't be trusted to keep things fair.

KA: Certainly not. They have no integrity, attacking everyone three-on-two. They might have intensity, but they certainly don't have intelligence. Thinking people should see them instead of the people's Olympic hero. Instead of Chris Jericho. That's just not right.

CJ: No it's not. And tonight, we'll show them why no one's ever heard of them. And why they will never reach the big leagues.

(From there, we go back to the ring. "Lounge Act" by Nirvana plays as the Young Lions run to the ring. They slap hands with the fans before getting on the apron and jumping over the top rope. "Edge of the Earth" by 30 Seconds to Mars then plays as the Amazing Red walks down the aisle and steps through the ropes. He looks right in the eyes of his opponents as "Underworld" by Anathema plays, bringing out Ultimo Dragon. The announcers say that Red earned Ultimo Dragon's respect during the match they had at the TV Title Tournament. Ultimo Dragon steps through the ropes and stands on the turnbuckle for a second before jumping down.)

[The Young Lions vs. The Amazing Red and Ultimo Dragon]

He hits a couple more forearms and then whips him into the ropes. Dragon comes back with a spinning leg lariat. When Dragon gets up, Matthews measures him with a dropkick to the head. He then tags in York, who comes in and starts hammering away at Dragon. Both Young Lions whip Dragon into the ropes and then hit a double flapjack. Red comes into the ring, only to get a double clothesline. Dragon then whips Matthews into the ropes and hits a spinning leg lariat to catch Matthews offguard. Dragon then brings Matthews up and goes for a running power bomb, but Matthews counters with a Frankensteiner! He gets two, but then tags in York. York clocks Dragon with a lariat and then knocks Red off the apron. He brings Dragon down with one more backbreaker and then slams him down. York climbs to the top rope and goes for the Moonsault, but Dragon brings up his knees! York gets up slowly and Dragon slaps him hard in the chest. He then whips York into the ropes and hits a quick powerslam for a near fall. Dragon waits for York to get up and then hits the kick combo, putting York down. Dragon then brings York to his feet and places him on the turnbuckle. He climbs to the apron and then to the second rope. He goes for a top-rope Frankensteiner, but Matthews holds onto York's leg! Dragon falls to the mat by himself and York hits an elbowdrop from the second rope. Both men slowly crawl to their corners and tag their partners. Matthews comes in and drills Red with a lariat. (And it's Chris Benoit and Ken Shamrock vs. the Young Lions in the first semifinal! The Young Lions give each other a high-five and then leave the ring. We then cut to the back where Triple X is preparing for their match next. Daniels is standing hooded in the corner, while Low Ki and Elix Skipper are stretching.)

CD: Another week, more heathens for Triple X to do battle with. Chris Jericho. Kurt Angle. Tajiri. These men believe themselves great. These men have had the benefits of success, the experience of performing in front of tens of thousands of people. They believe themselves infallible. They are wrong. Despite numerous setbacks these three men have suffered here, they still believe themselves the best wrestlers here. They still believe that no one can come close to matching their fury. But as I have said, they are wrong. For there still exists Triple X. We are the righteous, we are the worthy, and soon, we will wash over this federation and show the world the glory that we serve. Every night is a continuation of our glorious quest. We will succeed. We will prosper. We will convert. And we will sacrifice whomever is necessary.

(Triple X then leaves to head to the ring for the match. We then cut to Edge.)

Edge: It seems people have been wondering why I've made the choices that I've made. And it's simple. This is a chance for me to reinvent myself. This is a chance to show the world just what I can do. And the embodiment of that is this TV Title. I am the GWA TV champion, and I will do anything and everything in my power to make sure it stays that way. Whether that's using everything at my disposal, never ever letting up, or just plain trickery, it doesn't matter. This belt is mine. And it will stay that way for a very long time.

(The camera then cuts to the ring. "Jesus Christ Pose" by Soundgarden plays as Chris Jericho walks out to the ring. He stands on the apron and spreads his arms out before entering the ring. "Medal" by Jim Johnston then plays as Kurt Angle walks to the ring. He does his Olympic skip as he moves down the aisle and ignores the fans chanting "You suck". He then steps through the ropes and looks at the entryway. "Head Like A Hole" by Nine Inch Nails then plays as Triple X walks down to the ring. Daniels lags behind his two compatriots and stops at the end of the aisle. Low Ki and Skipper step through the ropes and stare down their opponents.)

[Chris Jericho and Kurt Angle vs. Low Ki and Elix Skipper]

Jericho and Low Ki started off. They lockup and Jericho hits a knee to double Low Ki over. He then continues with a couple punches and whips him into the ropes. Jericho connects with a dropkick and then poses for the crowd. Waving off their boos, he brings Low Ki up and hits a European uppercut. He goes for another one, but Low Ki blocks it and responds with a chop. Low Ki hits a kick to the midsection and then a kick to the head. He tags in Skipper, who comes in and slams Jericho. He goes for an elbowdrop, but Jericho rolls out of the way. Jericho then slaps Skipper and slams him down. He tags in Angle and the both of them take Skipper down with a double vertical suplex. They both knock Low Ki off the ring apron. Jericho leaves the ring as Angle brings Skipper up. He whips him into the ropes and then connects with a lariat. Skipper gets up quickly, but Angle puts him down with a belly-to-belly suplex. He makes the cover for two. Angle waits for Skipper to get up, then goes for the Angle Slam. Skipper slides down Angle's back and hits him with a spin kick when he turns around. Skipper brings Angle to his feet and hits him in the midsection and follows with an axe kick. Skipper tags in Low Ki, who comes in with a flashing elbowdrop. He hooks the leg, but Jericho breaks up the pin attempt. Low Ki brings Angle up and whips him into the ropes and connects with a spinning leg lariat. Angle gets up slowly and Low Ki punishes him with a Mongolian chop. He hits a second Mongolian chop to stagger Angle and then blasts him in the face with a savate kick. Rather than go for the pin, Low Ki climbs to the top rope and flies off with a Stardust Press. Angle rolls out of the way, making Low Ki hit the mat hard and hurt his knee. Angle hits a hard kneesmash to Low Ki's face as he tries to get up. He brings him up and shoves him into the corner. Angle attacks with a series of punches, then grabs Low Ki and takes him out of the corner with a belly-to-belly suplex. Angle tags Jericho back in and they both start stomping away at Low Ki. Skipper comes in, but Jericho catches him with an inverted atomic drop. Angle follows up with a hard lariat sending Skipper to the mat. Jericho then brings Low Ki to his feet and grabs both his arms. He goes for the Tidal Krush, but Jericho drops to the mat and then rolls out of the ring. He waves off the fight and heads to the back as the ref counts to ten.

Triple X (Elix Skipper and Low Ki) defeated Chris Jericho and Kurt Angle when Ki defeated Chris Jericho by countout in 0:14:56.
Rating: **

(So Low Ki and Elix Skipper are the newest semifinalists! There's only one more quarterfinal match left. After the match, Angle heads to the back to join Jericho, while Triple X raise their arms in the air. We then go to the back to find the Rock.)

Rock: Finally, the Rock has come back to Tallahassee! And he has come to whip the candy ass of Lance Storm. Lance Storm, a guy who thinks he's God's gift to wrestling. A man who blames the Rock because nobody likes him. A guy who is jealous of the Rock. A man who is jealous that he is not the most electrifying man in sports entertainment and couldn't be if he stuck a lightbulb up his ass. You think that you'll beat the Rock because you're a "wrestler"? You think you actually have a chance? Well guess what. IT DOESN'T MATTER WHAT YOU THINK! Because the fact of the matter is, the Rock is going to walk down that aisle, get in the People's ring and whip your monkey ass. Not because you're a wrestler, not because you're jealous, the Rock is gonna whip your ass cause you're a whiny little bitch. If you can smellllllllllllllllll what the Rock is cookin.

(The Rock raises his eyebrow before we cut back to the ring. "God Hates a Coward" by Tomahawk plays as Christian walks to the ring, chair in hand. He raises the chair in the air before rolling into the ring. "Paint It Black" by the Tea Party then plays as AJ Styles walks out to the entryway. He walks down the aisle and taunts the fans on the way. He then steps through the ropes and awaits their opponents. "Symphony for the Dead" by Therion then plays as Rey Misterio Jr. walks out. He slaps hands with the fans and stops at the bottom of the entryway. "Final Resistance" by Dark Tranquillity plays as Jerry Lynn walks down the aisle. He slaps hands with Misterio and both men quickly slide underneath the ropes.)

[Christian and AJ Styles vs. Rey Misterio Jr. and Jerry Lynn]

Christian and Misterio start out. Christian tries to hit Misterio with a forearm, but Misterio ducks under it and dropkicks him in the back. Christian lands on the middle rope, but quickly moves out of the way. He gets to his feet and starts to lock up with Misterio, but pokes him in the eye. He then whips him into the ropes and tries to hit him with a knee, but Misterio jumps over it and rolls him up for a near fall. Misterio tags in Lynn, who comes in and hits Christian with a couple punches and then whips him into the ropes. Lynn hits Christian with a devastating tilt-a-whirl backbreaker. Lynn then tries to hit Christian with the Cradle Piledriver, but Styles distracts the ref, allowing Christian to hit a low blow. Christian then takes in Styles, who comes in and stomps away at Lynn. He brings Lynn up and slams to the mat, then runs into the ropes and connects with a somersault senton. Misterio breaks up the pin attempt, but Christian runs in and throws Misterio over the top rope. Styles brings Lynn up and whips him into the ropes. He misses with a spin kick, but Lynn hits him with a flying clothesline on the rebound. Christian comes in, but Lynn hiptosses him over the top. However, this gives Styles enough time to hit a dropkick to the back of the head. Styles comes to the top rope and flies off with the Spiral Tap, which connects! Styles makes the cover, but only gets a near fall. Styles slams Lynn again and goes to the top rope again. Styles flies off with a shooting star press, but Lynn rolls out of the way. Styles gets up slowly and Lynn connects with a jawbreaker to stagger him further. He then tags in Misterio, who jumps on the top rope and goes for the West Coast Pop! Styles catches him and tries for the Styles Clash, but Misterio manages to fight it. So Styles brings Misterio up and bounces him off the top rope before hitting a devastating power bomb. Styles tags in Christian, who comes in and brings Misterio up. He hits an inverted DDT and goes for the cover, but Misterio manages to get a shoulder up in time. Christian clubs Misterio in the back and goes for the Unprettier, but Misterio pushes him off into the corner. Misterio then rolls him up with a backflip cradle for a near fall. Misterio then dropkicks Christian in the back to make him land on the middle rope. He then runs into the ropes, but is pulled down by Styles. Christian walks over and tags in Styles. Styles brings Misterio up and goes for another power bomb, but Misterio slides down Styles' back and dives to his corner to make the tag to Lynn. Lynn comes in and hits Styles with a lariat and then knocks Christian down with a right hand. He hits Styles with a flying clothesline and then hits him with a series of punches. He waits for Styles to get up and runs into the ropes, but Christian puts a knee in his back, allowing Styles to snap him down with a powerslam. Styles then brings Lynn up and hits the Styles Clash and gets the three as Christian tangles up Misterio.

[Tag Team Title Tournament - Quarterfinal]:
Christian and AJ Styles defeated Rey Misterio Jr. and Jerry Lynn when Styles pinned J. Lynn with the Styles Clash in 0:09:41.
Rating: ** 3/4

(So the second semifinal match will be Low Ki and Elix Skipper vs. Christian and AJ Styles! After the match, Christian grabs Misterio by the mask and throws him down. He then gets the chair and is about to use it when the Young Lions run down the aisle and make the save. Christian and Styles leave but make sure to jaw with the people in the ring.

The camera then goes backstage where Ultimo Dragon is getting treated for his sore ribs. He's grimacing a little in pain. CIMA walks up to him and they enter a staredown. CIMA then smiles and pops Dragon in the face. He then laughs and backs away as Dragon fumes.

The camera then fades to Matt Hardy, who is standing by with Adam Bramledge.)

AB: Matt, on Ground Zero, you felt you could have began your GWA career on a better note. But now, you have that chance with your title shot against Edge.

MH: That's right Adam. On Ground Zero, I did all right in the Cruiserweight Battle Royal, but I still got eliminated too early. But now, I'm going to make it as though that never happened. Because right now, it's not important. I might win the Cruiserweight Title later, I might not. But what I will do is win that T.V. Title. Edge, you think the title means a new beginning for you. I accept that. But we've fought before and we'll fight more later. And in all that time, I think I've shown that I'm better. I don't have the flash, but I sure have the substance. And tonight, that substance will make you lose your title...by an unfortunate twist of fate.

(We go back to the ring where "Head Like A Hole" by Nine Inch Nails plays as Christopher Daniels walks to the ring, flanked by his Triple X brethren Low Ki and Elix Skipper. He's hooded as always and steps through the ropes. He takes off the hood and raises his arms in the air before removing his robe and waiting for his opponent. "Destiny Is Dead" by Anathema then plays as Tajiri stalks to the ring. He stares directly at Daniels as he walks down the aisle and steps through the ropes.)

[Christopher Daniels vs. Tajiri]

Daniels and Tajiri lockup and Daniels gets the early advantage. He forces Tajiri into the ropes and then whips him. Tajiri comes back to get a dropkick to the face. He gets up quickly, but Daniels is on him with a lariat. Daniels hits a couple stomps, then brings Tajiri up. However, Tajiri breaks Daniels' grip and hits him with a series of chops. He then leads him into the corner, where he hits a series of kicks to the midsection. Daniels manages to get out of the corner by raking Tajiri's eyes. He then hits an inverted atomic drop and follows it up with another one. He then brings Tajiri down with a bulldog. He goes for a pin, but Tajiri kicks at two. Daniels runs into the ropes and misses a flying forearm. Tajiri waits for Daniels to get up and then plasters him with a savate kick. Daniels goes down in a heap and Tajiri makes the cover for a near fall. Tajiri brings Daniels to his feet and pushes him in the corner. He fires off a couple chops and then whips Daniels into the other corner. Tajiri follows in with an avalanche, but Daniels moves out of the way. Tajiri comes out a bit and Daniels hits Tajiri with a superkick. He drags Tajiri out a little and then hits a springboard moonsault. He hooks the leg for two. Daniels then brings Tajiri up by the hair and throws him over the top rope, but Tajiri lands on the apron. Daniels walks away for a little breather, but turns around to get a kick to the head. Tajiri reenters the ring and hits a couple punches, then whips Daniels into the ropes. Tajiri misses with a thrust kick, and then misses with a savate kick on the rebound. Daniels then grabs Tajiri and hits a STO. Daniels runs to the turnbuckle and jumps on it, then jumps on the top rope before jumping off with a moonsault, but Tajiri rolls out of the way. Tajiri then quickly gets up and plasters Daniels with an enzuigiri! Daniels rolls out of the ring and Tajiri follows him. Daniels staggers around until he reaches the rest of Triple X. Daniels then rolls back in the ring and distracts the ref as Skipper hits Tajiri with a big lariat. Skipper rolls Tajiri back in the ring and Daniels brings him up and puts him in position for the Last Rites. However, Tajiri counters with a kick to the head and Daniels breaks his hold. Tajiri then goes for a brain buster, but Daniels manages to slide down his back. Daniels then kicks Tajiri in the midsection and hits a power bomb, then runs to the corner and hits the Best Moonsault Ever. He hooks the leg for three.

Christopher Daniels pinned Tajiri after the Best Moonsault Ever in 0:13:12.
Rating: *** 1/2

(After the match, Daniels gets up and raises his arms in the air as Skipper comes in and throws Tajiri over the top rope. Triple X then leaves the ring.

We cut to Adam Bramledge with Chris Benoit and Ken Shamrock.)

AB: Well guys, earlier in the show, you two beat Los Guerreros in a quick match. Now you've got the Young Lions in a semifinal. Any thoughts?

KS: Yeah, we're gonna kick their necks off and rip all the skin from their faces and wear it as a coat!

CB: ...

AB: ...

KS: What?

CB: What my partner is saying is that we are going to beat the Young Lions. We've got technique and experience on our side. Plus, Ken's a little crazy.

KS: WHAT! Just because I want to play jump rope with their intestines doesn't mean I'm crazy.

AB: ...

CB: ...uh...I was just saying you maybe got hit in the head a little hard earlier.

KS: Oh. Well, that's cool then. Thanks for the concern.

AB: ...well, it looks like you two guys are ready.

(The camera then fades to the ring. "Knife Prty" by Deftones plays as Matt Hardy walks to the ring. He slaps hands with the fans and then stands on the turnbuckle, looking at the entryway. "Ticks & Leeches" by Tool plays as Edge runs down the aisle. He slides underneath the ropes and stares at Hardy. He then hands the ref the TV Title. The ref then holds up the title as the bell rings.)

[Matt Hardy vs. Edge]

Edge and Hardy start by trading punches in the middle of the ring. Hardy gets the advantage and starts forcing Edge back into the ropes. He then whips Edge and connects with a flying forearm. Edge gets up only to be slammed down to the mat. Edge bounces up again, but Hardy hits him with a lariat. Hardy stomps away at Edge, but Edge manages to take Hardy's leg out from under him and hits him with a series of forearms. Edge gets up and jumps to the turnbuckle to gloat, then jumps back down and kicks Hardy in the stomach. He whips Hardy into the ropes and hits him with a spinning leg lariat and makes a quick cover for two. Edge brings Hardy up and slaps him across the chest, then hits a forearm. He tries to place Hardy on the turnbuckle, but Hardy slides down Edge's back and hits a dropkick, sending Edge into the corner. Hardy quickly gets up and follows up with a lariat to the back. Edge staggers out, but Hardy grabs him and hits a Russian legsweep! He then gets on the second rope and comes off with a legdrop. It connects, and the cover gets a near fall. Hardy brings Edge up, but Edge drops to his knees and pops Hardy in the stomach with a right hand. He follows that up with an uppercut to send Hardy reeling. Edge stays perched on his knees in anticipation, and when Hardy turns around, Edge flies forward with a spear! However, Hardy steps out of the way, making Edge fly out of the ring. Edge slowly gets up only to have Hardy dive onto him with a plancha! Hardy hits a couple stomps, then rolls Edge back into the ring. Hardy then brings Edge up and calls for the Twist of Fate. However, as he executes it, Edge pushes Hardy off and into the corner. Hardy staggers back, allowing Edge to fold him up with a back suplex. Edge takes a couple breaths, then gets in position. As Hardy slowly gets to his feet, Edge hits a spear! Edge then hooks the leg for three.

Edge pinned Matt Hardy after a spear in 0:10:46.
Rating: ** 1/4
(Edge retained the GWA T.V. Title.)

(Edge gets up and takes the T.V. Title back from the referee. He puts it around his shoulder, then stands on the turnbuckle and raises his arms in the air. The camera then cuts to the back as the Young Lions are discussing strategy.)

Joey Matthews: So how're we going to do this?

Christian York: The same way we've done everything else? Through teamwork. And after all, I've already beat Benoit. And you beat the Rock. We can definitely beat Benoit and Shamrock.

JM: Yeah. But Shamrock worries me a little. He's a bit nuts.

CY: Yeah, but that'll probably just make it easier to separate them. They haven't teamed together as long as we have.

JM: Definitely not. And hopefully, that'll prove to be the difference.

(The camera then fades to the ring. "Whatever" by Our Lady Peace plays as Chris Benoit walks to the ring. He's all business as he goes down the aisle and steps through the ropes. "Them Bones" by Alice in Chains plays as Ken Shamrock walks down the aisle. He's punching himself in the head as he walks down the aisle. He rolls under the ropes and "Lounge Act" by Nirvana starts to play. The Young Lions come out and slap hands with the fans as they walk down the aisle. He get on the apron and jump over the top rope.)

[Chris Benoit and Ken Shamrock vs. The Young Lions]

The two teams stare at each other until Shamrock rushes at York and tackles him. Shamrock hits him with a series of forearms while all York can do is cover up. Matthews tries to help, but Benoit cuts him off and hits him with a couple chops, then whips him into the ropes and hits a huge lariat. Shamrock starts to go for the cover, but decides to whip Matthews into the ropes. Shamrock then hits a Frankensteiner and covers for three.

[Tag Team Title Tournament - Semifinal]:

Rating: * 1/2

(So Chris Benoit and Ken Shamrock are the first team in the finals! After the match, Benoit checks on York, but Shamrock kind of snaps and puts the Ankle Lock on Matthews! Matthews screams as the ref and later Benoit try to break the hold. We then cut to Christian and AJ Styles in the back.)

Christian: So, this team's worked out rather well so far.

AS: Yeah. We took out Misterio and Lynn rather easily, and now it's Triple X's turn.

Christian: To think, they think people should want to see them. They're just a bunch of punks.

AS: They're not spectacular. They're not amazing. They're just three guys with a loudmouth for a mouthpiece.

Christian: And tonight, we'll show them that isn't enough.

AS: It's too bad that the Young Lions didn't win though. I would have liked to have beat them to a pulp in order to get the belts.

Christian: Me too. But I'm more than willing to settle for beating up Benoit and Shamrock.

(The camera then cuts to the ring. "Head Like A Hole" by Nine Inch Nails plays as Triple X walks out. Daniels doesn't have the robe on, Low Ki looks stoic as always, and Skipper taunts the fans. (And the final is set to be Chris Benoit and Ken Shamrock vs. Christian and AJ Styles! After the match, Daniels rolls Christian in the ring and then follows with the chair in hand. Low Ki and Skipper stomp away at Styles and Christian. Daniels is about to start giving chairshots when Benoit and Shamrock come down the aisle and make the save! The announcers wonder why they would help their opponents for the Tag Titles in the main event while Triple X retreats up the ramp.)

(After the break, we cut to the ring where "The Hollow" by A Perfect Circle plays bringing out Lance Storm. He ignores the jeers of the fans and walks down the aisle. He steps through the ropes and gets a mic.)

LS: If I could be serious for a minute, I wanted to say why I wanted to fight the Rock tonight. And no Rock, it's not because I'm jealous. But it is because I'm a wrestler. I was trained by the Harts. I was trained to be the finest technical wrestler to ever exist. I'm from Calgary, Alberta, Canada. I was trained to be a champion. But I'm not a champion. And that's because of people like you Rock. Guys like you with more flash. You get people to overlook your flaws and get your chances at titles. But what about me Rock? What about the man who doesn't care about being the "most electrifying man"? What about the man who just cares about being the best? That man gets left behind. That man gets passed over. But no more. Like a lot of people around here have said, the GWA is a chance for a new beginning. And for me Rock, that beginning starts by making you tap.

("This Means War!!" by Busta Rhymes then plays as the Rock walks down the aisle. He steps through the ropes and gets on the turnbuckle and raises his arm in the air. He then looks back at Storm and jumps down to the ring.)

[Lance Storm vs. The Rock]

Storm tries to lockup with the Rock, but gets belted with a right hand for his trouble. The Rock keeps punching away at Storm, until Storm has to retreat and roll out of the ring. The Rock follows him out and chases him around the ring before Storm slides back in. The Rock follows and Storm catches him with a dropkick. Storm hits a couple stomps, then brings the Rock to his feet and chops him. However, the Rock ignores it and hits Storm with a right hand. Storm falls down, springs back up, and is knocked down with another punch. Storm, however, sweeps the Rock's leg out from under him and then follows with an elbowdrop. Storm applies a sleeper, but the Rock quickly powers out and backs Storm into the corner. The Rock then connects with a couple punches and the spit punch to knock Storm down. The Rock then whips Storm into the ropes and brings him down with a belly-to-belly suplex. Storm gets up quickly, so the Rock kicks him in the midsection and hits a DDT. He covers for a near fall. The Rock brings Storm up and whips him into the ropes. The Rock prepares for a spinebuster, but Storm surprises him with a dropkick. Storm climbs to the top rope and flies off with a flying spinning leg lariat, which connects. Storm then goes for the Sharpshooter, but the Rock kicks him off, sending Storm into the corner. The Rock follows, but Storm surprises him with a superkick! The Rock falls to the mat and Storm rolls him up with a double leg cradle for a near fall. Storm punches away at the Rock as he gets up, but the Rock eventually blocks one and hits a punch of his own. The Rock tries to kick Storm in the midsection, but Storm catches it and then rolls into the Straight Shooter! Storm puts as much pressure on the leg as he can, but the Rock won't give up. The Rock crawls toward the ropes, but Storm puts more pressure on, so the Rock's progress is slowed. Eventually though, he gets to the ropes. Storm breaks the hold and stomps on the leg a bit. The Rock responds with a punch to the midsection which allows him to stand. Storm and the Rock then trade a few punches, then the Rock ducks one and grabs Storm. He then lifts Storm up and hits the Rock Bottom! He hooks the leg for three.

Rocky Maivia pinned Lance Storm with the Rock Bottom in 0:10:11.

(After the match, the Rock gets up gingerly and leans against the ropes while raising his arm in the air. Storm slowly rolls out of the ring as the Rock begins to climb the turnbuckle to salute the fans. However, Kurt Angle runs out of the crowd and slides underneath the ropes behind the Rock. He attacks him from behind with a forearm, then hits a huge German suplex to take the Rock down. He brings him up again and hits an Angle Slam before pulling down his straps. He applies the Ankle Lock and keeps it on until Rhyno runs down to make the save. Angle then leaves back through the crowd, taunting the two men in the ring.)

(We then go backstage to Edge's dressing room, where he's getting ready to leave. Elix Skipper then walks in the frame.)

ES: A new beginning, huh?

Edge: What do you want?

ES: I want the title that you hold. I want the T.V. Title. You know, I'm extremely glad you got it. Because that just means that I'll take it from you. I'll be the guy to take away your livelihood.

Edge: Oh really? And what makes you think that you'll do better than anybody else?

ES: Because I am better than everybody else. Prime Time built this house. And everything you do, you do because you're trying to keep that belt. But when you fight me, I'll have my Triple X brothers to make sure you don't do anything too terrible.

Edge: I see. So you're going to beat me three-on-one, huh?

ES: I don't need them to beat you. I see you for who you are. You're not ready for Prime Time. You're just a scared little boy. And soon, your belt will be mine.

Edge: We'll see about that.

ES: Yeah we will.

(Elix Skipper starts to walk away, but Edge punches him in the face and then throws him into the wall. He jumps on top of him and starts pounding away until Christopher Daniels and Low Ki run in and knock him off. Low Ki hits Edge with a series of Mongolian chops while Daniels leads Skipper out of the room. Low Ki follows later as Edge just stews by himself.)

(After that, the camera cuts to the ring, where Tully Blanchard is standing with both finalist teams. Both teams are staring down each other. Shamrock has a little tic.)

TB: This is the final of the GWA Tag Team Title Tournament. It pits Chris Benoit and Ken Shamrock...

(Crowd cheers.)

...vs. Christian and A.J. Styles.

(Crowd boos.)

Like the TV Title Tournament final, this is a no-countout, no-DQ match. May the best team win!

(And with that, Blanchard leaves the ring and the bell rings.)

Christian runs at Benoit, but Benoit throws him up in the air for a flapjack. Christian bounces up and Benoit nails him with a lariat. Christian gets up again and gets hit with another lariat. Benoit tags in Shamrock, who comes in and clubs Christian in the back. Christian, though, slingshots Shamrock into the corner and rolls him up for a near fall. Both men get up and Shamrock runs at Christian. Christian manages to apply a sleeper to stagger Shamrock for a moment. However, Shamrock hits a couple elbowsmashes to break the hold and then throws Christian down with a takeover suplex. Christian tags in Styles, who hits a springboard dropkick to floor Shamrock. He continues stomping away at Shamrock and then hits a somersault senton. Styles brings Shamrock up and hits a power bomb. He tags in Christian, then runs at Benoit and knocks him off the apron. He waits for Shamrock to get up, then smacks him with it. Christian celebrates, but the chairshot only staggers Shamrock, and makes him visibly irate. When Christian turns around, Shamrock screams and hits a series of forearms followed by a belly-to-belly suplex. Shamrock then applies the Ankle Lock and Christian taps immediately.

Quite a fun little show there. I was figuring Christian and A.J. were going to take it all when I saw the draw, but who could possibly argue at Benoit and Shamrock as tag champs? The Shamrock "jump rope/coat" interview was pretty funny too, it'd be interesting to see if he can hold it together long enough for them to get a decent tag title reign going.
