Ticket Buy Rate: 100% PPV ratings: 4.65% Approximently Viewers: 6975000 Welcome to Virgina everyone! Tonigt we hope to bring you the same great action we have for the past half year. To start things off we've got Billy Ken Kid taking on Johnny "The Bull" Stamboli, The Blue Meanie and Stevie Richards will face the Demonauts and Chuck Palumbo and Meanie has announced that their partner will be the newest member of the Blue World Order. Rumors have been flying around the ASWA.com message board as to just who it could be, whether it could possibly be old bWo member Nova or an entirely NEW wrestler being brought into the stable. We'll also see big Kevin Nash face Aaron "The Idol" Stevens, Todd Sexton will take on "The Italian Monster" Tony Mamaluke, Brian Adams & Roadkill will take on the Dudley Boys, we'll have a contract match between Daniel Puder and Hector Garza. As you may remember a contract match is a race up to the top of the ladder to grab that ASWA contract! Mick Foley will face Buck Quartermain, who it appears Sting has taken on as a protégé, and speaking of the Stinger, we'll see him in action against "Rowdy" Roddy Piper. Also we'll see Pierre Carl Oulette defend his Great American title against "Cowboy" Jeff Farmer who once again pinned Oulette last month, also Jon Dahmer & Cory Kastle will be in action against Romeo Roselli and a partner that Roselli has been keeping a mystery, Christopher Nowinski has managed to convince ASWA officials to sanction a match between him and a man who has been a thorn in his side for a few months now, Scott Norton who he has a past with from before the inception of the ASWA. Finally in the main event Bret "The Hitman" Hard will make his first title defense against the Warlord. Hart is the only man to hold a pinfall or submission over the Warlord in the ASWA, amazingly making him tap out last month in the 4-way elimination title match, making him the first wrestler to be eliminated. Billy Ken Kid vs. Johnny "The Bull" Stamboli Johnny Stamboli further incites the crowd.Billy Ken Kid pinned Johnny Stamboli with the 450 Splash in 0:11:36. Rating: ** 1/2 After the match Bret Hart appears with a microphone. He looks pretty pissed. He talks as he walks down to the ring. Bret Hart: Last month was bullshit. It should have been a moment of glory and it was ruined by Sting and his little sidekick Buck Quartermain. Right now I'm gonna make an example of you Billy Ken Kid! Sting, this is what's gonna happen to you if you mess with me again! *Hart gets in the ring and attacks Ken Kid. He just rips Ken Kid apart. He eventually locks in the Sharpshooter and Kid bellows in agony, tapping out almost imidiately. Who will the mystery partner of Blue & Richards be? Their techno-dance theme music plays and out they come. They dance a bit and point to the entrance... and out comes Shark Boy! the BWo (The Blue Meanie, Stevie Richards, & Shark Boy) vs. the Demonauts (Gronda & Gran Akuma) & Chuck Palumbo Stevie Richards runs into the ropes. The bWo (Shark Boy, Stevie Richards and The Blue Meanie) defeated The Demonauts (Gronda and Gran Akuma) and Chuck Palumbo when S. Richards pinned C. Palumbo with the Stevie-T in 0:16:52. Rating: * 1/4 Blue Meanie, Stevie Richards, and the newest bWo member Shark Boy all dance in celebration. Kevin Nash vs. Aaron "The Idol" Stevens Aaron Stevens whips Kevin Nash into the ropes.Kevin Nash pinned Aaron Stevens with the Jackknife Power Bomb in 0:08:28. Rating: * 1/2 Right before the ref can raise Nash's hand out comes Vampiro. Vampiro: Nash, I'm gonna make this short and to the point. I want a re-match with you and I want it right now. Things are gonna be different this time, because you aren't gonna get a lucky shot in and a quick three count. What do you say? Do you have the guts to face me again? Nash nods yes and invites Vampiro to get in the ring. Kevin Nash vs. Vampiro evin Nash hits a chop on Vampiro.Vampiro pinned Kevin Nash with the Vampiro Spike in 0:05:16. Rating: 3/4* Vampiro hit the Spike on the big Kevin Nash! Vampiro looks pleased with himself, although he did defeat a Kevin Nash that had just wrestled a match, but it looks like he'll count that as a big victory in his book. Todd Sexton vs. "The Italian Monster" Tony Mamaluke Todd Sexton gets a side headlock on Tony Mamaluke.Todd Sexton pinned Tony Mamaluke with the Gamebreaker in 0:09:07. Rating: *** 3/4 Brian Adams & Roadkill vs. The Dudley Boys Brian Adams executes a piledriver on D-Von Dudley. The Dudley Boys (Bubba Ray Dudley and D-Von Dudley) defeated Brian Adams and Roadkill when D-Von pinned B. Adams after the 3D in 0:17:46. Rating: * 1/4 In the back we're shown Seth Skyfire who is gearing up. His partner Todd Sexton comes in and is all worked up over his win against Tony Mamaluke. Todd Sexton: Did you see that win Seth? I think things are gonna be turning around for us! Seth Skyfire: Yeah... about that Todd... see, I got sick of waiting for you to stop sucking and start winning. *Todd looks confused* so I've made... OTHER arangements. With that Romeo Roselli nails Sexton from behind with a chair! Roselli & Skyfire laugh at the fallen Sexton and leave. CONTRACT MATCH: Daniel Puder vs. Hector Garza Hector Garza nails Daniel Puder with a spinebuster slam.[CONTRACT MATCH]: Ladder Match: Hector Garza defeated Daniel Puder in 0:37:27. Rating: **** 1/4 Hector Garza has just won himself an ASWA contract! We cut to the back where one of the ASWA reporters is talking with Sting. Reporter: Sting, last month you took down Bret Hart in his moment of glory, after winning the ASWA Heavyweight title. Tonight at the top of the show he said that he would destroy you if you came after him again. What are your... Sting: Bret Hart doesn't scare me. He's a talented guy, but so am I. He's been around the wrestling scene for a while, but so have I. He's held multiple titles, but hey, so have I. Bret Hart doesn't scare me in the least. I'm gonna show him that the Scorpion Deathlock is superior to the Sharpshooter. Believe you me, Bret Hart will get his comeupance. Mick Foley vs. Buck Quartermain Mick Foley goes for a double underhook suplex, but Buck QuartermainBuck Quartermain pinned Mick Foley with the Top Rope Legdrop in 0:13:38. Rating: ** Amazing win for Buck Quartermain over Mick Foley! The underdog took it here tonight. Sting tutorledge must be paying off. Sting vs. "Rowdy" Roddy Piper Sting goes for a bulldog, but Roddy Piper throws him off.Sting defeated Roddy Piper when Roddy Piper passed out in the Scorpion Deathlock in 0:13:43. Rating: * ASWA GREAT AMERICAN TITLE MATCH: "Cowboy" Jeff Farmer vs. Pierre Carl Oulette (c) Jeff Farmer hits Pierre Carl Oulette.Jeff Farmer pinned Pierre Carl Oulette with the Lariat in 0:13:19. Rating: ** 1/4 (Jeff Farmer won the ASWA Great American Championship title.) Farmer beat Oulette! Farmer has brought the Great American title back to American soil so to speak. After being presented with the belt, he rips off the Quebec flag and whips it into the audience. While Farmer is celebrating, Oulette sneaks out and grabs a chair from ringside. He slides back in, but Farmer turns around. Oulette tries to hit him with the chair, but gets a boot in the stomach, Farmer picks up the chair and throws it at Oulette. Oulette catches it and swings at Farmer. Farmer ducks! Oulette turns around and Farmer Lariats the chair right into Oulette's face! Oulette is down! Farmer may have snatched the title away from Oulette, but after what just happened, I'm not sure if this really solves anything. Oulette has to be looking for a shot to get the Great American title back now. Jon Dahmer & Cory Kastle vs. Romeo Roselli & Seth Skyfire Cory Kastle goes for a power bomb, but Seth Skyfire counters it with a backdrop.Jon Dahmer and Cory Kastle defeated Romeo Roselli and Seth Skyfire when Kastle pinned Skyfire after a flying legdrop in 0:02:44. Rating: *** Quick loss for the new team of Roselli and Skyfire, who earlier tonight turned on his former partner Todd Sexton to the fans dismay, but maybe this wasn't such a good idea after all. Romeo and Skyfire begin to argue about the loss. Eventually Skyfire has had enough and just leaves. Romeo follows him up the ramp, still yelling things at him. SEMI-MAIN EVENT GRUDGE MATCH: Scott "Flash" Norton vs. "Harvard Graduate" Christopher Nowinski Scott Norton uses a short lariat on Christopher Nowinski.[SEMI-MAIN EVENT: GRUDGE MATCH]: Christopher Nowinski pinned Scott Norton after a superplex in 0:15:58. Rating: DUD Nowinski manages to defeat a man that he's had confrontations with at the past three ASWA payperviews. Nowinski seems proud of himself, but is rather out of it it seems. He gave a lot during that match. ASWA HEAVYWEIGHT TITLE MAIN EVENT: Warlord vs. Bret "The Hitman" Hart Warlord goes for a bodyslam, but Bret Hart counters it with an elbowsmash.[MAIN EVENT]: Bret Hart made Warlord submit to the Sharpshooter in 0:16:06. Rating: ** 1/4 (Bret Hart retained the ASWA Heavyweight Championship title.) Bret Hart once again defeats the Warlord. He's the one that eliminated Warlord during the 4-way elimination match for the title last month and once again he makes him tap out to the Sharpshooter. Card rating: ** |
