Welcome to ASWA on PPV!  Tonight we're going to start the trek towards crowning our very first Heavyweight champion!  We'll be seeing the first round and semi-finals matches that will end next month in the new year with a 4-way elimination match to crown the first champion! In the first round we'll see the newly signed Roadkill take on Bret Hart, Jeff Farmer will face "Rowdy" Roddy Piper, Christopher Nowinski will face the newly signed Vampiro, special guests from Japan Akira Taue & Yoshihiro Takayama will do battle, Mick Foley wrestles Aaron "The Idol" Stevens, Billy Ken Kid will have his work cut out for him against Kevin Nash, Brian Adams faces Sting and finally, Warlord will face a man that he destroyed before entering the ASWA and apparently thinks he wants more, for one night only... HEIDENREICH!  And once again, Scott "Flash" Norton is at ringside to watch tonight's event.  You may remember last month he exchanged words with Nowinski who seems to have some sort of beef with Norton.

Wow... just wow.  Nash takes out Ken Kid in 14 seconds.  It literally took just one big boot to the face that just about took his head off.  Nash was definitely all business tonight and didn't seem to really acknowledge any of the fans in the audience.

Once again the Warlord unleashes that devistating Full Nelson, making ANOTHER wrestler that no one would think would be manhandled so easier pass out by flailing him about like a ragdoll in the full nelson.  Absolutely amazing and something to watch out for in the semi-finals.

The first of two-pretaped promos are shown.  The first is just clips from the Dudley Boys in ECW in some of their best known and most extreme moments. At the end it just has an ECW logo crushing a CZW logo and a little note saying that this message was brought to you by the Dudley Boys. The second shows Gronda & Gran Akuma ripping apart some poor kids in wrestling training at some gym.

Gran Akuma: Blue Meanie, you shouldn't have even bothered to find a partner and come back.  You should have stayed gone.  That little beating that we gave you after you screwed us out of a win was nothing compared to the world of hurt you'll enter when you setp into the ring with the Demonauts.  We're going to send you and that idiot Stevie Richards back where you came from... Has-Been Land.

The 3rd man to pass out to Warlord's full nelson.  Now that we know it'll be Bret Hart, Mick Foley & Roddy Piper in the final 4-way elimination match for the heavyweight title will they be able to fend of the Full Nelson?  Will they team up and try and take Warlord out first?  Foley has beaten Hart, Warlord and beaten Foley, but with everything on the line battling for the heavyweight title, will everyone kick things up a notch?  We'll fnid out next month!

Hart, Foley, Piper, Warlord. Well, three for four aint bad. No guesses who I don't want to win the final there.

Were I not for me doing virtually all hirings randomly (not just the specified M key ones) it would have been someone else besides Warlord in that particular position.  I am however pleased with how he's won the matches that he has, especially since his full nelson has put away Foley, Heidenreich & Sting, all of which passed out in the hold.

If it can get him over as a recognisable force in your circuit, that'd be a decent achievement, seeing as up till now, I don't exactly see him as a recognisable anything.

Of course, I could have been slagging off Bret. :P

I figured you'd go for the easy target ;)
