We have BRAND New Global Tag Team Champions. The Second City Saints have won the belts one week after London and Spanky have captured them. London and Spanky are not too happy and they exchange shoves to cheers from the crowd because they want to see these two stars get into it. But cooler heads prevail as Paul London just picks up his Global X-Divsion Title Belt and walks off, leaving Spanky in the center of the ring.

Hardcore Holly is backstage reviewing the match with Joe last week and he is not too pleased with some of the things that went down last week. Hardcore Holly tells the cameraman that he is going to Heyman's office to petion for another title shot next week.

D-Ray was brought in as a one night opponent for Billy Gunn but something happened as Billy Gunn strained his arm over the course of the match. Billy cradles his arm in pain but gets on the microphone and vows to make an impact despite all that has happened and if this is the best GWE can do, they can do better. Billy is in pain but cuts the promo despite that and vows to return.

Hardcore Holly storms Heyman's office and demands a match against Samoa Joe but Heyman says that Hardcore Holly has lost twice to Samoa Joe and a third title match just wouldn't draw money. Hardcore makes a remark along the lines of: "What would you know about drawing money, Heyman?" Heyman gets ticked and says that he will give Hardcore Holly a final chance next week but he will face someone who also wants a title match, Rob Van Dam and this match will be a Ladder Match. Hardcore nods his head before leaving.

The next match is a match for a contract in the company. The Perfect Event, Shawn Stasiak and Chuck Palumbo make their way to the ring. They haven't been a team since the dark days of the old WCW.

There opponents...could it be. PRIME TIME AND THE FALLEN ANGEL! Triple X have reunited but how and why? No time to ponder this as this match for a contract in GEW starts now.

Short reign for London & Spanky, but at least this way London can concentrate on his X-Division title.  Plus the way you ended it is a good set-up for a London/Spanky program for the X-Division title which would be good.

OoOoOoOoOo... tough break.  Gunn out for 7 weeks? (Assuming their is no card multiplier) That's gotta hurt.

Triple X should make a good addition to GWE.  I don't 'dig' Palumbo & Stasiak as a team, mostly because I don't 'dig' Stasiak.

Joe wins.  Can't say I'm surprised.  It would have hurt the title for Williams to go over Joe.  Joe needs a more credible threat, one that he can do a nice little program with.

Hey, whats with all the hand shaking?  Soprtsmanship has no place in pro wrestling. ;)

Aw man, Jimmy gets the shaft again! :)  So, we're lookin' at a London/Jay Briscoe re-match.  I think it'll be as good, if not a little better than last time, but I think the result will be the same.  I think London makes a great long term champion with the GWE X-Division title.  I'm hoping that it'll be hard to dethrone him and there will be plenty of brutal battles before someone manages to.

June 29th 2005 Preview:

The Stars of the Global Wrestling Empire return to Pay Per View for what should be a big night of wrestling action.

We are going to kick off things with a bang. Hardcore Holly wants a shot at the Global World Title and will go through anyone to get it. Now this match was originally supposed to be RVD vs Hardcore Holly but Rob Van Dam has been barred from the building do to his attack on Charlie Haas last week. Instead, it will be a special one night wrestler vs Hardcore Holly for the contract to face Joe on July 6 2005 and it will be a Ladder Match. We understand this mystery man has been in his fair share of ladder matches and will give Hardcore Holly a run for his money.

Billy Gunn's quest for an impact has been halted due to an injury but we understand that another wrestler has requested a match to make an impact. This man wants to prove that he is more than just one trick gimmick. Hide your babies, Gene Snitsky is returning to GWE and will be in action this week.

One title match will take place. Jay Briscoe, who earned the right to go for the Global X-Division Title, we will face Paul London for his championship. These two men tore down the house two weeks ago and are looking to do it again.

Also: Generation Next's Roderick Strong and Jack Evans will be in action, Colt Cabana will face Charlie Haas, and Jimmy Jacobs will be in action. You do not want to miss this weeks GWE Pay Per View.
