Ted Dibiase: "The question of the day, the question of the week is Where is UCW? The answer is quite simple, UCW is dead and buried. I bought out UCW behind their backs and before there was anything they could do about it it was gone from their grasp.I had help from 1 man on the inside, 1 man knew that I could take him straight to the top in FUSION.This man showed me what the Rave was all about, I give you Jimmy Rave! Jimmy Rave: "Thanks Ted. What are you suprised, did you not actually think that once I dominated and swept the Chase the Ace challenge that I wouldn't have a plan to continue the rise to my destiny? The man to my left saw that potential in me and if anyone knows potential its him.Along with him, I have watched tape after tape after tape of all the wrestling avaliable to me this past week.Now I'm not going to be like Mick Foley in Long Island Wrestling and thrust myself into the main event because I know I would dominate and there wouldn't be any intrest in me kicking the same 3 guys ass night in and night out. No, I have opted to take a 6 month contract in FUSION, this way I can still scout talent without holding anyone back in the FUSION locker room.You are asking yourselfs why did you do it Rave, why did you turn your back on UCW? I'll tell you why because I beat the 2 best they had to offer in one night. After I beat those 2, they were sent home licking their wounds and no one has heard from them since. Thats not what I want to be a part of I want to be challenged. Ted Dibiase: Now because I know that now my life and Jimmy Rave's life are in danger because we are taking over the wrestling world, I have brought in 2 monsters as our body guard.These 2 men personify what FUSION is all about and they will not let me down.In fact I am issuing an open challenge for my 2 body guards. So anyone who wants to face the H8 Club come on down and give it your best shot because its simply not going to be good enough.So anyone who wants to be the first victims of Anarchy come down! The H8 Club came down and joined Rave and Dibiase in the ring.All of a sudden 2 men come from behind and attack the H8 Club starting the match.Wait thats Team F.I.S.T! Opening contest: The H8 Club vs Team F.I.S.T This match was a contrast of the power game of the H8 Club vs the high flying skills of team f.i.s.t. Everyone expected the H8 Club to have a run away match due to their size advantage.However Icarus and Gran Akuma fought with all the courage their bodies could muster.Both members of team f.i.s.t were powerbombed through tables.Nick Gage went up to the top rope and hit the Frog Splash for the pinfall victory. H8 Club (Nate Hatred and Nick Gage) defeatedJigsaw vs Donovan Morgan This match saw a man who is known for his work on the west coast against a man predominately known for his work in Chikara and CZW.This was one of the few occasions that Donovan Morgan has the size advantage.This was a wrestling clinic as both men gave it their all, even pulling off their finishers early on to get a decisive advantage.Jigsaw snuck a win out of Donovan Morgan's hands as he hit the Jig 'n Tonic for the victory. Jigsaw pinned Donovan Morgan with the Jig 'n Tonic in 0:13:15.Up next the FUSION roster introduced Dixie as a referee for the tag match between the Havana Pitbulls and The Briscoe Brothers.Dixie is currently nursing a shoulder injury so he is only being used as a ref until his shoulder heals and the talent scouts at FUSION get a chance to see him in action. Tag Match with special ref Dixie: The Havana Pitbulls vs The Briscoe Brothers These 2 teams have met before in ROH.1 team comes to us from Havana and the other are brothers.Dixie is the ref and he has been in numerous indy feds.This was another back and forth match to continue the night.The Havana Pitbulls got frustrated when Dixie tried to interrupt a chokehold by Ricky Reyes on Mark Briscoe.Dixie had no choice but to disqualify the Havana Pitbulls giving the Briscoe Brothers the win. Match with Special Referee DixieUp next we brought in 1 former wwe employee and 1 current wwe employee for a 1 night only match that both men requested as Edge took on Matt Hardy. One Night Only Grudge Match:Matt Hardy vs Edge Everyone knew the tension between the 2, so when FUSION acquired 1 night contracts for both of these men they knew they had a money match on their hands.These men fought countless times in various forms of tag wrestling.The crowd was behind Matt Hardy obviously because they felt he was wronged.Edge got the win in this one with the Spear. Edge pinned Matt Hardy with the Spear in 0:10:28. Next we had an intermission INTEMISSION During intermission we went backstage we went to Ted Dibiase. Ted Dibiase:So what do you all think of the card so far? Well next month we are having our first annual Total Fusion card.On this card will be 3 round robin matches.The participants haven't been decided yet.A notice will be put up on our website in the next couple of days. Up next we have CM Punk vs Masato Tanaka, along with a 5 man elimination match and a triangle match.So lets get back to the action. CM Punk vs Masato Tanaka This was one match that the fans were looking forward to watching.This was a stiff encounter with lots of wrestling holds and counter holds.Tanaka went for the Roaring Elbow twice early on, but Punk ducked both times obviously having learned from past Tanaka matches.However Tanaka finally got a Roaring Elbow in and that sealed the fate of CM Punk for the evening. Masato Tanaka pinned CM Punk with the Roaring Elbow in 0:11:44.Up next was a 5 corner elimination match. 5 Corner match:Grim Reefer vs Hallowicked vs Jimmy Rave vs John Walters vs Mark Jindrak The fans were really into this match because of all the various styles involved.The first elimination was when Jimmy Rave pulled the mask off of Hallowicked, Hallowicked nailed a Tiger suplex on Rave who then ran to the back with a smile on his face and mask in hand.Walters was distracted by this so Reefer came up behind and powerslammed him and hit the Rope Walk Swanton Bomb.Reefer went on to eliminate Hallowicked and Mark Jindrak to win the match. 5-Man Battle Royal Up next was the main event. Teddy Hart vs Nick Mondo vs Roderick Strong These 3 went back and forth all over the ring.No one could get a clear cut advantage even though all 3 men hit their finishers early on.However when Roderick Strong hit a suplex on Nick Mondo both mens shoulders were on the mat for the 3 count.The referree ruled this match a no contest. After the match Ted Dibiase came out. Ted Dibiase: What is this? You have 1 job and that is to make sure the match goes on until there is a winner.Well there isn't a winner is there? No there isn't. But that isn't a big deal for me because you sir are fired.Also next month to decide the rightful winner we will have Teddy Hart vs Roderick Strong, Teddy Hart vs Nick Mondo and Nick Mondo vs Roderick Strong.The person who has the best record will win! Until then remember we are the future and we are taking over. Triangle Match Teddy Hart also involved |
| TerryFunka | Posted on 04/22/05 at 04:41:39 After an amazing first card several matches have already been announced for the Total Fusion card -Roderick Strong, Teddy Hart and Nick Mondo will take part in the first ever Total Fusion Round Robin Tournament - To gain revenge from being the final man eliminated in the elimination match Mark Jindrak has issued a challenge to Grim Reefer -Hallowicked wants to gain revenge from losing his mask so he has issued a challenge to Jimmy Rave -The Havana Pitbulls want another piece of the Briscoes who have accepted stating they didn't want to win the way they did also in action - The H8 Club, Team F.I.S.T we also contacted several tag teams to come into FUSION so you will see some more tag teams in FUSION in the coming months. |

Man... you should have used the SHootfighter simulator and let them have a go.. that's what would happen in real life. This is almost like the Rick Rude and Jake Roberts situation . . only that you had the guts to go through with it. I liked reading the match reports in quotes, makes it quite easy on the eyes imo. Beware of Strong... he likes to no-show then and again for no reason. |
