Rating: ** 3/4

What a way to kick things off here tonight! Awesome & Vader had to be the favorites as soon as they walked through the curtains. The other three teams knew this and for nearly the entire match, it almost seemed like Awesome & Vader were taking on six men in a handicapped match. But as time went on, tensions were running high and all four teams began fighting for themselves. There were countless near falls and submission attempts, but no one could find a way to finish the match. People were diving in the ring to break up possible finishes in the hopes that they may still have a chance to win it. The inevitable happened... the time limit expired. Without hesitation, the referee demanded a restart. It seemed like Mark Henry and Mike Awesome were the only two out of the eight competitors that could continue and finally at the 32 minute mark, Mark Henry put down Mike Awesome to get the win for him and Nowinski! No one thought these two would win this thing! Blown up and beaten, Nowinski got on the microphone...

Christopher Nowinski: Did... you guys... see that?! Me... and Mark Henry... we won!!... No one can... BEAT US!! If... there is a team in the back... that thinks... they can come out here... and beat us... then bring it on!

(Mark Henry just looks at Nowinski, completely baffled by Nowinski! What is Nowinski thinking!!? They just wrestled 32 minutes and now they want more?!?! Suddenly, JIMMY YANG AND KAZ HAYASHI run out from the back followed by KIMONA!! The JUNG DRAGONS ARE HERE!! Of course, Christopher Nowinski dives out of the ring! The Jung Dragons charge at Mark Henry... Henry throws a double clothesline, but the Dragons duck... when Henry turns around they hit him with a double dropkick sending Henry to the floor! They're calling Nowinski and Henry back into the ring. Nowinski still has the microphone... )

Christopher Nowinski: What the hell are you guys doing here?! Are you contractually obligated to be here?! You better hope so because I know some of the best lawyers in this country! If you are... fine! You accepted my challenge... but you can't match up against Mark Henry and myself. We are the best duo in this promotion and we just proved it in the Four Corners Match. You give us a chance to catch our breath and we'll meet you out here later on tonight...

(The fans boo because they want it now... but they're also cheering because The Jung Dragons are in the house! Kimona nods her head and agrees to the match for later in the evening. The Jung Dragons get the crowd pumped up one more time with a few poses.)

[Triangle Match]
El Dandy defeated Ahmed Johnson and Marty Jannetty when Dandy pinned A. Johnson after a figure-four leglock in 0:04:14.
Rating: 1/2*

Dandy and Jannetty have been lighting up venues around the tri-state for months now and just recently, Ahmed Johnson stuck his nose in their business. Now, all three men tried to hash out their differences in a triangle match. Over time, Dandy and Jannetty have grown a mutual respect for each other and that somewhat showed as at points they appeared to be working together to break down the much strong and larger Ahmed Johnson. Surprisingly, Ahmed's running mates, Vicious & Delicious didn't interject themselves... probably because they'll have their hands full with Hardcore Holly & Al Snow later tonight. But back to the match... it didn't last very long. Jannetty made the mistake of tagging in El Dandy after getting an advantage on Ahmed enabling El Dandy to lock on a figure-four. Stupid Ahmed didn't realize his shoulders were on the mat and got himself counted down! Jannetty couldn't believe it! El Dandy jumped up and celebrated! Ahmed argued with the ref and then tried hitting El Dandy, but Dandy bailed out of the ring and continued celebrating on the outside... alone because the fans didn't want anything to do with him. Jannetty just walked back to the lockerrooms with his head down. A lucky break for El Dandy.

Devon Storm pinned Bull Pain with the Thunderclap Brainbuster in 0:15:34.
Rating: *** 1/2

This was Devon Storm's debut match here in Cincinnati Pro. Many fans may remember him as Crowbar from his WCW days. He got a mixed reaction from the fans in the beginning, but as the match progressed, more and more fans got behind him. Another thing of note, a lot of fans were getting behind Bull Pain. Was it just because Bull Pain is wrestling Devon Storm? Or is it because time and time again, Bull Pain puts on good matches? We're not sure, but as the match winded down, it also broke down. The two battled on the floor nearly getting themselves counted out. When the match came back in the ring, Storm hit his Thunderclap Brainbuster for the win.

Rating: * 1/4

Becky Bayless accompanied Abercrombie to the ring for this one to make it official to all the fans that The Elite is indeed a stable. Abercrombie had a hard time with Jalisco. He was able to hit moves on him, but he just couldn't keep him down very long. Jalisco is an unorthox wrestler and Abercrombie wasn't really sure how to take the fight to him. A lot of offense came by way of counters as each wrestler was looking for an opening. After a long battle, both men were down with a double clothesline. Jalisco got up on fire, but Abercrombie put that fire out with a Northern Lights Suplex for a near fall. Sensing Jalisco was almost finished, Abercrombie climbed to the top and hit the Phoenix Splash for the win. Becky Bayless slid into the ring to raise the hand of Abercrombie.

The Insane Clown Posse (Shaggy 2 Dope and Violent J) and John Kronus defeated The Headbangers (Mosh and Thrasher) and Jinsei Shinzaki when J pinned Mosh with the ICP Dropper in 0:06:21.
Rating: ***

This match was a bit more one-sided than a lot of people would have thought. But if we're going to point fingers, let's point them at The Headbangers. The Headbangers, obviously used to being a tag team, made a cardinal mistake by not tagging in the fresh Jinsei Shinzaki. First, Mosh started things off getting his ass handed to him by John Kronus, then Thrasher was tagged in but had no luck as all three of his opponents put a beating on him... and instead of tagging in Shinzaki, he tagged in Mosh who once again had no luck against ICP & Kronus and eventually lost the match. ICP & Kronus celebrated in the ring... but not for long. Shinzaki climbed to the top rope and took out Shaggy 2 Dope with a flying shoulder tackle. Violent J charged Shinzaki but was met with a karate chop to the throat and then a savate kick. Kronus came at Shinzaki with a right hand, but Shinzaki caught it, twisted it, and held on to it as he scaled the top rope... then walked across the top rope and came down with a karate chop on Kronus' arm. Kronus staggered around for a second... then caught a Shinzaki boot to the gut. Shinzaki set him up for it... prayed... and nailed the Praying Power Bomb! The crowd was on their feet!

Rating: *** 1/4

The two of these guys make a hell of a tag team... they came so close to winning the CP Tag Team Championship last month, but they just couldn't get along. To settle this, they both agreed to a Loser Leaves Town Match. This match was intense! The fans were behind both wrestlers! Noble was able to kick out of the Uncle Slam and The Patriot was moments away from passing out in the Trailer Hitch, but the fans' support helped bring him back into the match. In the closing moments, Noble knew he had The Patriot beaten if he could just hit that one big move. He hit a hard back suplex and got a near fall! Then tried, perhaps, for superplex, but was too tired to lift The Patriot onto the turnbuckle... out of desperation, he hit the ropes looking to hit a swinging neckbreaker, but The Patriot used Noble's own momentum to hit a side slam. The Patriot followed it up with the Uncle Slam for win! The crowd erupted and cheered both men. The Patriot helped Noble up and both of them stood face to face in the center of the ring. The Patriot extended his hand in a sign of respect. Noble looked around as the fans cheered. Then Noble spit in The Patriot's face. The fans erupted with boos. The Patriot reared back for a punch, but Noble ducked out of the ring and stood at ringside while the fans taunted him. The Patriot raised his hands in victory one more time as the fans cheered him and then he headed to the back. Jamie Noble climbed back in the ring with the microphone. The fans were booing him severely.

Jamie Noble: You people actually think you can get rid of me! I don't care what the gimmick on the marquee says... I'm NOT leaving Cincinnati! I'm here to stay and NO ONE, including The Patriot, can make me leave!!

(Suddenly, we hear heartbeats over the speakers in the building followed by the familiar sound of a flatlining heart rate... oh my god! The fans erupt as TAZZ steps through the curtain! Noble is visibly shaking in the ring! Tazz walks towards the ring and climbs in. Noble is holding his hands up telling Tazz he doesn't want any problems. Tazz snatches the microphone away from Noble.)

Tazz: Okay, big man. Now if I'm wrong, please correct me... but I do believe that the stipulation of that match said that if you lose, you have to leave. You can disrespect a low life like The Patriot all you want, but by standing in this ring at this very moment, you're disrespecting me. Now we can do this the easy way or the hard way... you can choose...

(Jamie Noble nods his head and puts his hand out to shake Tazz's. Tazz shakes his hand and once again, Noble nods his head and turns around to leave the ring. Tazz looks around at the crowd, then jumps on Noble's back bringing him to the canvas and locking in the TAZZMISSION!! Noble is frantically tapping out until finally Tazz lets him go and kicks him out of the ring. Tazz picks up the microphone and paces around in circles as he screams... )

Tazz: NOBLE, GET THE F*CK OUT OF MY RING! YOU!! YOU HAVE BECOME JUST ANOTHER VICTIM!!

(The fans are cheering Tazz, but he doesn't care. He's not out here to please the fans... he's out here to make a statement. He stops walking in circles and focuses on the hard camera...)

Tazz: Dean Malenko... it's already starting! You're ducking me again! Where are you tonight? You aren't here! I know for a fact that next month you're scheduled to be in that Gauntlet Series! Apparently, it was in your contract to compete in the Gauntles Series and it wasn't in mine. That's not the main issue, though. You see next month, you will be here! I will be here! In fact, I'm going to compete. It doesn't matter who I face... I'll choke them out just like all the rest! I will choke out any number of wrestlers that I have to in order to get my hands on you! Malenko, this ain't the WWE no more! You can't hide from me forever! It's only a matter of time until I get my revenge... it's only a matter of time until you become just another victim!

(Wow! Strong words by Tazz! He leaves the ring with the fans cheering him and some booing him. He refuses all high fives as he walks up the aisle towards the locker room. He is dead set on revenge...)

[Ahmed Johnson interfered against Hardcore Holly.]

It didn't take long for Ahmed Johnson to get himself involved on behalf of Vicious & Delicious. While only physically getting involved one time, his presence at ringside still proved to be a distraction to Holly & Snow. Despite this, Holly & Snow put forth one hell of an effort! This was the match where they were supposed to get their revenge! Hardcore Holly was supposed to pin Buff Bagwell and finally get his revenge for the time Buff slammed Holly's shoulder into the ringpost and put him on the shelf for months! This is the sole reason Hardcore Holly is in Cincinnati Pro. When it looked like Holly was well on his way to achieving his goal, Bagwell countered his electric chair drop with a Victory Roll out of nowhere... who knew Bagwell could even do it anymore... Al Snow attempted to break up the pin, but something happened to his knee during the match and he just couldn't make it in time. Bagwell won the match and slid out of the ring before Holly could get to his feet and try to attack Bagwell again. Vicious & Delcious & Ahmed celebrated all the way to locker room! Holly was burning mad but there was nothing he could do. Snow, barely able to stand, tried to cool Holly down. Finally, Holly was calm enough to leave the ring and help Snow to the back.

Rating: ****
[Becky Bayless interfered against Pablo Marquez.]

Going into this match, everyone thought it would be a one sided affair in Stryker's favor. Well, it was a one-sided affair... but in PABLO'S favor!! Pablo came at Stryker for the ENTIRE 13 minutes and came inches away from defeating the CP Tri-State Heavyweight Champion. Pablo was too quick for any of Stryker's holds. Stryker couldn't catch of him. However, Stryker wouldn't stay down. Pablo just didn't have the weight to keep Stryker down for the three count and he needed to practically knock Stryker cold in order to get a pin. Even Becky Bayless tried countless times to catch Pablo but she couldn't. In the end, Pablo went for a Frankensteiner, a move he had been successful with many times earlier in the match, but Stryker countered with a devastating power bomb for the win. The crowd gave Pablo a round of applause and Bayless and Stryker walk to the back with the CP Tri-State Heavyweight Championship.

Christopher Nowinski and Mark Henry defeated The Jung Dragons (Jimmy Yang and Kaz Hayashi) when C. Nowinski pinned Yang after a spinebuster slam in 0:10:15.
Rating: ** 1/4

Despite already wrestling a 32 minute match earlier in the evening, Nowinski & Henry faired very well in this match. They had the size advantage while the Jung Dragons had the speed and agility. Now Henry is definatly quick and agile for his size, but not the same way the Dragons are. The match started off in Nowinski & Henry's favor, but the tides changed quickly as the Dragons were able to find weaknesses in their opponents. When it looked as if they were going to get some long-term offense in, hopefully leading to a victory, Nowinski nailed Yang with a spinebuster slam, immobilizing him just long enough to secure the win! Nowinski & Henry go 2-2 tonight while the Jung Dragons lose their first match in CP.

(The Elite members come to the ring... Alexander Otsuka, Matt Stryker, & Josh Abercrombie... led by Becky Bayless. Apparently they have acquired a new member for The Elite, but that person has not been announced yet. All we know is that Chris Hero has stepped up to take on the challenge, whomever it may be. "My Hero" by Foo Fighters plays as Chris Hero walks down to the ring. He looks pleased to be here, but also looks focused. He has a challenge in front of him that he doesn't even know how to prepare for. He waits outside of the ring as The Elite outnumbers him inside of the ring. Becky Bayless has the microphone...)

Becky Bayless: As promised, tonight we will introduce to Cincinnati Pro the newest member of The Elite. This person is the man we need to help us take over the professional wrestling world. He is without a doubt one of the baddest men to ever grace a wrestling ring. He has held numerous titles throughout the world including the WWE Intercontinental Championship. After recently returning from a successful tour of All Japan Pro Wrestling, we have brought him here to Cincinnati Pro to be one of The Elite. Without further ado... we bring to you... A-TRAIN!!

(Oh my god! A-Train is here! He is here! He walks through the curtain, stops, and raises his fists in the air! He's HUGE! This is definatly a BIG gain for The Elite! Chris Hero looks somewhat shocked, but he still remains focused and it already appears that he is putting together a game plan. A-Train climbs into the ring where he is met with a round of handshakes from the other members of The Elite. Before leaving, Becky Bayless turns to Hero, smiles, and waves to him... apparently she thinks this is the last we're going to see of Hero.)

Just when we thought The Elite were going to stay in the back and let this be a one-on-one match, Abercrombie came to ringside to lend A-Train a hand... or a chair! He nailed Hero in the back with a chair right in the beginning of the match and from then on, A-Train worked on Hero's back obviously setting him up for the Train Wreck. A-Train did a lot of damage on the outside of the ring as well using the ringpost and guardrail as weapons. Hero fought back, though, and got A-Train over with an Exploder suplex for a two count. This wreaked hell on Hero's back, though, and it wasn't long after that A-Train hit the Train Wreck and got the victory. Abercrombie slid into the ring to raise the hand of the newest member of The Elite, A-Train!

(At this time, staff and referees come to ringside... with them are spools of BARBED WIRE. We cannot express how badly we feel that this fued between Ian Rotten and Hayabusa had to come to this. Every fan in attendance has been advised that what they may witness tonight in this match may make them sick to their stomach and anyone that wants to wait outside will be permitted to return for our main event following this match. As the ropes are taken down, the spools of barbed wire are unrolled around the ring. Not only are there three strands of barbed wire replacing the ropes, but there are also "X"s going from the top rope to the bottom rope on all four sides of the ring. Due to the absence of a top rope, steel pallettes have been places in the corners to allow for "top rope" moves. This will indeed be disgusting to watch.)

Ian Rotten originally issued this challenge to Hayabusa. He had become so frustrated during his wars with Hayabusa that this was the only way he could let it all out. This is Ian Rotten's specialty match so he had something to prove here. Hayabusa is no stranger to barbed wire, though, and the scars on his body will tell you no differently. While the days of classic death matches have passed and the death matches nowadays are filled with bad wrestling and even worse stipulations, Rotten and Hayabusa were out to revive the death match world. They wanted to give the people a classic, something to remember. They wanted to end this fued the right way! Did they? You bet your ass they did! Not a single person wanted to miss this match no matter how sick it made them... not a single person was sitting in their seats by the end of this thing. Ian Rotten was the first to taste that barbed wire as just seconds into the match, Hayabusa dragged Ian's face across the wire. Hayabusa wouldn't get out of this match scarfree, though, as Rotten absorbed the punishment and dealt out his own fashion of punishment with the wire. By the end of the match, not only was Rotten wearing the crimson mask, but his once white shirt was now soaked with blood and his fist tape was stained with the blood of Hayabusa. Hayabusa's mask was nearly torn completely off from the wire, his pants in shreds, his arms with scratches all over them and his chest and back still dripping blood. When it was all said and done, Hayabusa scored the win with a Firebird Splash off a steel pallette in the corner and we have just witnessed the best match in Cincinnati Pro to this day! Following the match, Rotten gets on the microphone as if he were at an IWA Mid South show.

Ian Rotten: In all of my career, I have had countless barbed wire matches. But tonight, I can say... that this one tops them all! (the fans clap with appreciation) When I came to Cincinnati Pro I was out to show this promotion that in order to be one of the best independant organizations in the country, you would have to prove it to me and the rest of IWA Mid-South. Tonight... you have proved it to me!

(Rotten extends his hand towards Hayabusa. Hayabusa shakes it and the two embrace. Hayabusa looks like he may even be crying. Ian Rotten raises his hand as the fans cheer and clap. Ian Rotten leaves the ring with his head held high and his fist in the air. Hayabusa stays behind and bows to the fans seemingly forever until he finally leaves the ring. EMTs are waiting in the back ready to stitch up the wrestlers and an ambulance is standing by in case anyone needs to go to the hospital for further treatment.)

(It's main event time! The barbed wire and steel pallettes have been removed from the ring and we are set to go. Alexander Otsuka comes to the ring first accompanied by Becky Bayless. Otsuka is waving the Japanese flag as he walks to the ring, while Becky Bayless appears to have another flag in her hands. Out next comes the former CP Tri-State Heavyweight Champion Volk Han. He is getting a great response from the fans as he jogs towards the ring giving high fives as he goes. Now Otsuka must announce his stipulation... it appears Bayless is going to do it for him.)

Becky Bayless: So, Volk Han... you have agreed to whatever stipulation Alexander puts in front of you. Alexander is a fair and honorable man, so he didn't pick a stipulation where you would be at any disadvantage. So here it is... in Alexander's hand is the Japanese flag in all of it's glory. In my hand I have YOUR flag, the Russian flag....

(Bayless hands the rolled flag to Han who snatches it away immediatly. Volk Han unravels the flag and holds it up proudly.)

Becky Bayless: Yeah, yeah... whatever... anyways... the stipulation is this. If Alexander Otsuka wins the match, you, Volk Han, will have to throw down your own nation's flag and spit on it, disrespecting your country and yourself...

(Volk Han looks appauled and is ready to attack Bayless, but the referee stops him. The fans are booing the stipulation.)

Becky Bayless: If Alexander loses, he will do the same thing to his flag and you can leave with your flag, waving it high in the air or whatever you want to do with it. So... good luck, Alexander... and Volk, give mother Russia my best...

(Volk lunges at Bayless, but Otsuka steps in front of him. Both men are face to face. The referee orders both men back to their corners where they each hang their flags in the supports provided for them specifically for this match. They're ready to go and so are we...)

What a travesty of justice we have here tonight! What we thought was going to be a technical, mixed martial arts style wrestling match turned into nothing more than a three-on-one handicapped match! Alexander Otsuka was struggling to escape Volk Han's grapevine submission when he finally grabbed the ropes. Volk Han didn't want to let go of the submission but the referee forced him off. As the referee warned Volk, A-Train handed Otsuka the Japanese flag. Becky Bayless then distracted the referee as Volk Han went over to pick up Otsuka... WHAM! Otsuka nailed Volk with the flagpole busting Han open and knocking him out at the same time. Otsuka handed the flag back to A-Train, Bayless stopped distracting the referee, and Otsuka picked up the win in just two and a half minutes! Becky Bayless grabbed the microphone and climbed into the ring with A-Train...

Becky Bayless: Well, Volk... you know the stipulation...

(Becky Bayless smiles as she walks over to Volk's corner. She steps on the bottom rope, bends over, and takes the Russian flag off of it's support. A-Train pulls the unconscious Volk Han off the mat and tries to stand him up. Otsuka is slapping Han in the face. Bayless walks over and lays the Russian flag down in the center of the ring in front of Volk Han.)

Becky Bayless: Well... come on Volk... we don't have all day! Bleeding on the flag doesn't count, Volk... you have to spit on it...

(After only a few moments, The Elite members become impatient. Volk Han is still out of it for the most part and even if he does come to, how will he ever bring himself to disrespect his own country.)

Becky Bayless: Fine! If you won't do, Alexander will!

(Alexander pulls the straps of his singlet down and Bayless and A-Train laugh. Oh my... is he gonna... NO!! He's going to piss on the Russian flag!! You can't do that!! There are kids in the audience!! Honorable my ass!! This Otsuka is a no-good, low life, worthless piece of... WAIT! Volk Han with a sudden burst of energy pounces on top of Otsuka stopping Otsuka from disgracing the flag! Otsuka wriggles out Han's grasp, but Han stays down laying on top of the Russian flag. Otsuka, A-Train, and Bayless are all stomping on Volk Han while Han is keeping the Russian flag secure from this group of disrespectul thugs! Finally, The Elite members leave the ring... Otsuka waving the Japanese flag the whole way. Volk Han is still clutching at the Russian flag as referee's come out to help him to the back.)

....Backstage scene....
(Cameras are taping Ian Rotten being stitched up. BJ Whitmer is in the room also. Ian is getting the last bit of stitches in the back of his head before heading to the IWA Mid-South dressing room with Whitmer to get their gear. Jimmy Jacobs is tieing his shoes when they arrive.)

Jimmy Jacobs: Once again, hell of a match tonight, Ian. You came so close to winning, but you shouldn't be ashamed of losing after putting on a match like that. I've already put my order in for tonight's DVD!

Ian Rotten: Thanks, Jimmy. The way things are looking, I don't think I'll be able to wrestle for awhile. I really need these wounds to heal before I even think of climbing back into a ring. But our time in Cincinnati Pro is over. By the looks of things, I think they'll be around for awhile and right now, they don't need guys like us taking their spotlight, haha...

Jimmy Jacobs: What do you mean our time here is over?

Ian Rotten: Yeah, I'm going back to promoting and working full time for IWA MId-South and you and BJ are going back to work full time for me.

Jimmy Jacbos: Ummm... I just signed a contract with Cincinnati Pro... for 6 months... I thought you guys were signing too...

Ian Rotten: You did what?! Hell no we're not signing with Cincinnati Pro!! I've got a promotion to run!! And that promotion has put a lot of time into you, Jimmy! We made you who you are!!

Jimmy Jacobs: I'm sorry... I didn't...

(Ian Rotten approaches Jacobs, but Whitmer holds him back...)

Ian Rotten: You know what Jimmy... you just burned the bridge that brought you to the dance... and you're never coming back! Find your own ride... maybe you can "HUSS" your way back to Michigan, asshole...

(Ian Rotten and Whitmer leave the dressing room while Jacobs sits wondering how he is going to get home... )

Cincinnati Pro Hotline
Last Updated December 30, 2005

Thanks for checking out the hotline. We hope everyone had a good Christmas and we hope everyone recieved their own copy of The Nightmare Before Christmas because it was a hell of a show! This is the only update we'll have here at the Hotline before our first show of 2006 called Runnng The Gauntlet to be held at the Boone County Fairgrounds in Wilmington, Ohio on Friday, January 6, 2006 at 8 p.m.

As Tazz eluded to at The Nightmare Before Christmas, there will indeed be a Gauntlet Series next Friday to declare a number one contendor to the Tri-State Heavyweight Championship. Six competitors have been chosen to compete in this gauntlet which will consist of five one-on-one matches. Here's a quick rundown of all 6 participants....

- Hayabusa: He was the first choice for the Gauntlet Series. He has been very successful in CP thus far and with his HUGE win over Ian Rotten last show in that brutal barbed wire match, he secured his spot.
- Ahmed Johnson: He's a replacement choice. Originally the spot was offered to Buff Bagwell, but after Bagwell was told he would STILL have to defend the Tag Team Titles even if he competed in the Gauntlet Series he handed the spot to his friend, Ahmed Johnson. A lucky break for Ahmed.
- El Dandy: He has proven himself in his various victories over Marty Jannetty that he is ready to take a step forward. A lot of guys underrate El Dandy, but he might surprise everyone next Friday.
- Jinsei Shinzaki: Somewhat overlooked in CP, Shinzaki is looking to make a huge impact by winning the Gauntlet Series. Can his martial arts style take him to the top?
- Josh Abercrombie: Ever since joining CP 6 months ago, Abercrombie has remained in the spotlight. Now, as a member of the newley formed stable, The Elite, Abercrombie looks to bring TWO titles to the group. You see, Abercrombie is ALSO competing for the Tag Team Championship Friday as well as the Top Contendors spot.
- Dean Malenko: As the contract stated, Malenko gets his opportunity to become the number one contendor at his first show in Cincinnati Pro. Some people feel this is undeserving, but a lot of people agree... with Malenko's background, he definatly deserves this shot.

Aside from the Gauntlet Series, we will see Matt Stryker defending his Tri-State Heavyweight Championship against none other than... Pablo Marquez? That's right! After Pablo's impressive showing against Stryker at The Nightmare Before Christmas in a non-title match, Cincinnati Pro felt he deserved a shot at the Championship. We've heard Stryker is outraged by the announcement, but the decision is final.

Also, in a very untraditional match, the CP Tag Team Championship will be defended in a SIX MAN TAG TEAM MATCH!! Vicious & Delicious were a bit discouraged as The Elite grew and have become so dominant seemingly overnight. So they issued a six-man tag team match against Otsuka, Abercrombie, and A-Train. However, forgetting that Bagwell gave Ahmed Johnson his spot in the Gauntlet Series, they don't have a third member since Ahmed isn't willing to wrestle the match AND the Gauntlet Series. The Elite only agreed to this match if the Tag Team Championship was on the line, so Vicious & Delicious had better find a partner before Friday or else it's going to be a handicapped match for the gold!

Our main event of the evening will be a rather special match. Cincinnati Pro has been in contact with former WWE Tag Team Champions, La Resistance, and they have come to terms on bringing La Resistance in for one-night only. Their opponents for the evening will be the Chris Hero and The Patriot. This will be a hell of an encounter.

Due to the popularity of Four Corners Tag Team Match at The Nightmare Before Christmas, CP has put together ANOTHER! The four teams: Strike Force, The Headbangers, The Jung Dragons, and The Insane Clown Posse! This will indeed be a barn burner!

Other matches for the show: Tazz makes his return to the ring against "Dangerous" Devon Storm, Mark Henry faces Mike Awesome, Christopher Nowinski against Vader, and four man elimination style match featuring Marty Jannetty, Jimmy Jacobs, Bull Pain, and John Kronus!
rey619Posted on 04/19/05 at 21:47:21

Wow, what a way to open the night, huge 4 corner match! Funny that Henry attacked Awesome with the Vader Attack... I think maybe the match rating was hurt by the somewhat long match though.. anyway.. I hope Vader and Awesome will stick together.. they can make an awesome duo. And here comes the Jung Dragons . . . I assume they will be fodder for Henry and Nowinski.

Noble leaves CP? Kinda disappointed.. but good match!
Noble should know better than to mess with Taz, he's the man. Come to think of it, you have many of the wrestlers-turned-trainer/announcer. Malenko, Taz, Snow, Holly (well he should be *former* wrestler)...

Just what I'd expect.. the Jung Dragons falls easily to Henry and Nowinski.. title shot.. now!

Bloody hell... literally.. the barbed wire match really blew my head off... I've never really been a fan of deathmatches, but such a rating demands respect...

There's yet another match?? A flag match? And A-Train ruins it... damn the hairy beast! He actually pulled his trunks down? Man, your show must be R-rated. Volk Han a fantasy guy?

Great card, best one I've read in a long while.. all circuits included..
Stryker and Marquez fights a 4 star! Brilliant.. it seems you have more luck with this part of the rulesheet than me. By the way, who is Marquez?

Haha, he didn't pull his singlet ALL the way down... just the straps... haha, I guess I should have elaborated on that part. No... there was no wang revealed at the show. Volk Han is not a fantasy guy... he's a Russian fighter that fought for RINGS group in Japan some years back. Most of the time it was a "worked shoot" style, but occassionally he did some legit shoot stuff.

Pablo Marquez is an old ECW job guy who went by the name of El Puertoricano for the majority of his time there. I've also seen him wrestle in the mexican IWA promotion and he's probably done a lot of other stuff in Mexico.
