Number of Wrestlers

Is having alot of wrestlers in you TNM Wrestler Database effect your TNM? For example. Thursday I was running Win XP SP1 with 2186 wrestlers and the only problem I had was running the new Ratings Editor, an issue Oliver said he take a look at. Yesterday, I installed XP SP2 on my PC and the only issue I was having was that after using a Plugin such as Circuit Editor my TNM would shut down with no error message. I updated my AUTOEXEC.NT file and for a while my Plugin issue was working until this morning. So I upgraded from Build 3 to Build 4 and my Plugin issue was solved, but now my issue is when I go to start a new Card, after putting in my first match, say Jerry Lynn vs. Super Crazy, and after setting the match up and hitting OK, TNM shuts down with the error message ERROR 7 at pgm-ctr: 401520.

Now I'm assuming it's not the number of wrestlers because when running XP SP1 with TNM Build 3 and 2186 wrestlers I had no problems. But after upgrading to SP2 and Build 4, all these problems started happening. I've done everything mentioned here on the Help Forum but nothing is working. I've even deleted (after exporting) 1000 wrestlers and I'm still having the same problem.

Does anybody have any idea? I want to keep SP2 on my PC. Is it possible to down grade from Build 4 back to Build 3 without screwing anything up?

This has been covered NUMEROUS times and is the reason the "allwrest" file that contained all available TNM exports was taken down from the TNM site.  This is the most common reason the error 7 ever occurs.  2186 wrestlers installed is a crazily large number of wrestlers to have installed.

To safely run TNM, you should have no more than around 700 wrestlers installed.  Anything over that mark, and you are tempting the fates of the computer gods as TNM will inevitably crash out with an error 7.

The best thing you can do at this point is to scale back the number of wrestlers you have installed into your copy of TNM.

Why the devil do you have that many wrestlers in the first place?

HUGE round robin tournament to determine the Best Wrestler in History.

Turns out SD Jones wins.  Go figure.
