SCHOOL OF HARD KNOX - SURPRISES ALL AROUND!
DATE: MARCH 11 2006
LOCATION: SPORTSTIME USA - BETHPAGE, LONG ISLAND

Tonight's card was QUITE the shocking one. We've been hearing rumors that somebody big would be in the building tonight and when the crowd saw just who it was, the roof of Sportstime USA practically blew off the hinges. But before we get to that, let's go to ringside for the opening contest.

About this time last month, Amazing Red debuted in Hard Knox and in his first match, he faced off against Xavier who was coming off his shot at the Head of the Class title being taken away from him. Xavier got the win in that initial encounter and now these two men will meet once more. Can Red even the score or will Xavier come out on top?

FORMER LIW NEW YORK STATE HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION,

ALEX WRIGHT!!!!

Wright entered the ring and grabbed the microphone from the ring announcer. He then shooed him out of the ring before he began to speak.

Interview:
Alex Wright debuts

Alex Wright began to talk about how he left LIW and it's backstage politics for the "greener" pastures of Hard Knox Wrestling.

He went on to talk about how he was the longest reigning champion in LIW and he plans to do the same thing
now that he is part of Hard Knox - starting with tonight's battle royal.

His promo was cut short by the appearance of AJ Styles who obviously felt that Wright was talking alot of smack that he may not be able to back up.

Wright got in Styles' face and said to him "I'm so confident in himself and my abilities in the ring that I will face you later in the night and STILL walk out of the battle royal as the winner."

Styles stared Wright in the eyes and accepted the challenge before jumping out of the ring and heading to the back.

Wright headed out of the ring to the back as well and we were set for our next contest - a four corner tag team match to determine who would face The SAT for the Heavy Hitters title in the main event tonight.

20 members of the Hard Knox roster vied for the chance to face Juventud Guerrera at our next event for the Head of the Class title.

We didn't see an elimination for the first 9 and half minutes until Mafia entered the match. Prior to that, there were many close calls but nobody was able to get it done. A surprising moment was Terry Funk entering and immediately tearing into the up and comer, Zach Gowen. Obviously the title shot definitely makes enemies out of everyone.

Amazing Red & Kevin Ridge were neck and neck with eliminations and Ridge was ready to

The big thing to watch was that Alex Wright made it very far in the battle royal but became a victim of Heavy D Don Harris. What's even more interesting is that Monsta Mack was very close to winning the whole battle royal. He obviously was trying ONE LAST TIME to show he isn't a scrub but it didn't happen and now Monsta Mack is on his way  somewhere else and Heavy D will face Juvy next show for the Head of the Class title.

Time for our main event - The SAT defend their Heavy Hitters title against the team of Van Wild & Scott Starring

[Heavy Hitters title defense]: No-Time-Limit-Match:
The Spanish Announce Team (Joel Maximo and Jose Maximo) defeated Scott Starring and Van Wild when Joel pinned Starring with the Maximo Explosion in 0:12:53.
Rating: **** 1/4
(The Spanish Announce Team retained the HEAVY HITTERS.)

The SAT got another victory over Wild & Starring as Joel Maximo took Starring out with the Maximo Explosion.

Card rating: *** 3/4

Our next event is a Night of Champions as both titles will be on the line in the same night. Matches already signed are:

* 3 new signees to Hard Knox will debut in our opening contest as Spikyjim plays welcoming committee to them in a 4 way dance

* A new Top Contender for the Head of the Class will be crowned

* Chuck Palumbo will reunite with Johnny Stamboli for one night as Stamboli tags with Palumbo and Johnny Ace agains the trio of Tommy Dreamer, CM Punk & Abyss

* The SAT will defend the Heavy Hitters title against an unknown set of challengers

* In the Main Event, Juventud Guerrera will defend the Head of the Class title against the winner of tonight's battle royal, "Heavy D" Don Harris.

Hurray for evening the score!  I bet it's not over though.  I smell some more above average matches between them in the future.

Bringing in Hero would be cool.  I'm familiar with him, though I've never actually seen him wrestle.  It seems like he'd make a good addition in the future though.

Nice tie in with Eric's circuit.  Wright returns from Europe and he's back in Long Island.  Ha ha!  Eric has backstage politics... he would :D

Starring and Van Wild may get title shot tonight, but two matches in one night is never a good thing.

Styles puts away the intruder, but will it cost him in the rumble?  I mean, the match only went 6 minutes, but Styles and Wright put forth a lot of effort in those 6 minutes.

Well, Styles didn't fair as well as Wright did, but it wasn't by much.

And as I state time and time again, two matches in one night doesn't equal good news.  Of course, I don't think Starring & VanWild would have won even if they hadn't wrestled earlier.

Entertaining as usual Shaunzie

Heh - yea i can see a consistent run between Red & Xavier. They seem to work well in the ring together.

Absolutely - i've used him in other circuits and he always puts on a good show.

That's right - With LIW and Hard Knox both being on Long Island, it couldn't happen any other way.

Starring and Van Wild may get title shot tonight, but two matches in one night is never a good thing.
Yes but Hard Knox officials are always fair to let a lengthy match come in between to give challengers a chance to rest up for their big match.

thanks for the kind words as always, mamushi.

Not a big fan of Red or Xavier... and if I had to pick a winner... I still don't know who I would pick.

Ahh yes... Chris Hero. He's currently a staple in my circuit, Cincinnati Pro... but you're about 6 months ahead of my circuit's time so who knows where Hero will be by then. Glad to see him pick up the win, but it was obvious.

Awesome seeing Wright in SHK! I was a fan of his in LIW and I'm still a fan with him in SHK. Styles is going down!

Damnit! Styles won!

The stories that come out of battle royals. Wright had quite the match with RON Harris in LIW... now in SHK, coming so close to winning the battle royal only to get eliminated by DON Harris!! Amazing....

I hear ya - not sure who's grown on me more.

Well - I hope you will keep his presence in Hard Knox in mind when this time frame comes along in Cincy Pro.

Hah - Wright's got more than enough time to get over - Styles just had a good night with that match.

Heh - that IS pretty interesting. Maybe i'll do a little Ron vs Wright action in the cards to come of SHK.
