TNM Shutting Down After Exiting Plugins

AndrewAdonisPosted on 10/29/05 at 02:14:56

OK, I ran TNM7DIAG and it said everything was OK. I searched the TNM Help Forum but there are 40 pages and I still can't find my answer.

I'm running Windows XP SP2 and using Build 3. When I run TNM and use a Plugin like Circuit Editor, after I exit the plugin my whole TNM just closes. Nothing get's screwed up or anything but it's a plain to have to keep opening TNM.

Now this is new because I was running XP SP1 before and this wasn't happening. Maybe it's just me but is anybody else having this problem?

I've had this happen several times. Not every time... it happens when I close circuit editor or the title history program. It hasn't happened enough to bug me or anything but I have had it happen. I am running XP in the format it came in. I never update. Too lazy. :) But anyway I have had the same problem. I'm running build 4.

I was able to fix the problem. I updated the AUTOEXEC.NT in my Windows System32 folder. I changed line
lh %SystemRoot%\system32\dosx
to
rem lh %SystemRoot%\system32\dosx
and then saved and quit. It's working fine now.
