Results of Who's Next Show 6:

Mick Foley walks out carrying the back brace and cane from last months show.

Foley:  Edge, Christian you fooled me last week.  I don't like being fooled.  So after thinking about a suitable punishment I have come up with one.  So after several meetings with a few people here it is.  We are not only going to have a GWF Heavyweight Title match but a GWF Tag Team Titles as well.  Tonight the champions Edge and Christian, will face off with THE POWERS OF PAIN!

The champions come running out.

Edge:  You can't do that.  Christian is...still hurt, yeah still hurt.

Christian:  Yeah.  I have a doctor's note even.  He said I can't compete until...um...next month...yeah that's it.  Next month we would be glad to defend our titles.

Edge:  Yeah...against the top team in the GWF, the Mean Street Posse.

Foley:  Well if you guys don't want to defend your titles tonight you don't have to.

Edge and Christian give each other a high five.

Foley:  I will just strip you of your titles.

Edge:  Hold on.  We'll do it ok.  You happy Mick?  We will go change and be ready later.

Foley:  I don't think so guys.  Your match is RIGHT NOW!

We have new tag team champions as E&C couldn't keep up with the PoP.  Bobby Heenan was at ringside along with the Brain Busters but they didn't get involved.  Edge and Christian managed to isolate the Barbarian for several minutes but the big man just kept powering out of all the pinfall attempts.  Finally he made the tag.  The Warlord was a mad man using all his power to throw E&C around.  Edge hit a spear and just bounced off the big man.  The Barbarian ran in and took Edge and himself out of the ring with a vicious clothesline.  Christian tried a flying crossbody but the Warlord caught him and hit him with a running powerslam.  He then locked in the Full Nelson for the submission victory.

The Powers of Pain (The Barbarian and Warlord) defeated Edge and Christian when
Warlord made Christian submit to the Full Nelson in 0:13:04.
Rating: **** 1/2
(The Powers of Pain won the GWF Tag Team Titles.)

The Heenan Family celebrated in the aisle way while Edge and Christian threw a fit in the ring.  From the back out came Muhammad Hassan.

Hassan:  Well it looks like Foley is at it again.  I guess Foley is out to screw as many people as he can.  Well Mick I am out here to challenge the winner of the Big Van Vader, Randy Savage match.  Do either of you have the guts to face me?

Foley walks out looking extremely pissed.

Foley:  I have had just about enough of you.  However you are undefeated in singles action so you do deserve to be considered.  However I am not going to just give you the match.  So instead right now you are going to face off with one of the most popular wrestlers here...BLITZKRIEG!

Blitz comes flying out of the back and hits a springboard dropkick.  Blitz went to the top and took out Daivari.  Back in the ring Blitz went for a flying senton but Hassan moved.  Hassan then went to work on Blitz's back with a series of backbreakers and a running powerslam.  Hassan locked in the Camel Clutch but Blitz managed to fight out.  Blitz came back with a series of rights and then a flying clothesline.  He then hit a spinning head scissors that sent Hassan into the corner and then to the mat.  Blitz went for the Stardust Press but Hassan moved.  Hassan then hit his Modified STO for the win.

Muhammad Hassan pinned Blitzkrieg with the Modified STO in 0:08:51.
Rating: *** 1/4

The Mean Street Posse come out with a mic.  As Rodney goes to speak the Bushwhackers music hits and the returning Bushwhackers hit the ring.  This wasn't much of a match as they hit their double gutbuster on Rodney and then Gas with their Battering Ram for the win.

The Bushwhackers (Bushwhacker Luke and Bushwhacker Butch) defeated The Mean Street Posse (Pete Gas and Rodney) when Butch pinned Pete Gas after the Bushwhacker Battering Ram in 0:02:46.

Out next was Christopher Nowinski wearing a shirt "School of Hardcore" on the front and "Prof. Hardcore" on the back.  He completely destroyed Villano V in less then a minute and a half.

Christopher Nowinksi pinned Villano V after a spinebuster slam in 0:01:26.
Rating: * 3/4

Nowinski:  This is an open challenge to any so called hardcore wrestler out there.  Anytime you want to come down here to the GWF arena and face the new hardcore legend you just come do so.  I will even teach a few of you old dogs new hardcore tricks.

Our next match was a big tag team match between the Road Warriors and Taka and Funaki.  Most of the match the warriors just threw Taka and Funaki around.  They seemed to love every minute of it as did the crowd.  Several times they chanted one more time to a devastating move.  The warriors soon started to play more and more to the crowd.  Hawk nailed Taka with a Flying Clothesline and tagged in Animal.  Animal hit a vicious Powerslam but pulled him up before the three count.  He asked the crowd about one more time to which they exploded.  As he went to pick him up Funaki hit a missile dropkick to the back sending Animal into a small package.  Funaki tripped Hawk and they had just picked up a HUGE upset.

Funaki and Taka Michinoku defeated The Road Warriors (Hawk and Animal) when
Michinoku pinned Animal after a small package in 0:13:16.

After the match the Warriors went insane.  They gave both Taka and Funaki Doomsday Devices.  Security ran out and they were given the same treatment.  Finally several wrestlers came out and managed to subdue them.  Then Mick Foley came out.

Foley:  ENOUGH OF THIS!  Hawk, Animal you are both SUSPENDED until further notice!  I will not tolerate this anymore!  I will start handing out suspensions to anyone that does not respect me.

Foley storms to the back as the wrestlers carry Taka and Funaki to the back.  In the ring the Sandman lights up a cigarette after helping separate the brawl.  From behind comes Viscera.

This is quite possible the worse match we have had in the GWF.  Less then a minute in we had a rear chinlock.  Finally Vis picked up the Sandman who hit a low blow.  He then hit a flying legdrop for the win.  The fans actually booed both men heavily.  The Sandman shrugged and opened a beer.  As Vis got up Sandman grabbed he caned and caned him until Vis was a bloody mess.  The fans popped for this.

The Sandman pinned Viscera after a flying legdrop in 0:03:18.

After the ring was cleaned up it was time for our main event.  Vader has found that edge he had back in WCW and hasn't had a bad match with the GWF and this was no different.  Savage has had his "A" game as well.  Early on they brawled in the crowd.  In the ring Savage took over by working on Vader's legs.  He locked in a modified standing figure four.  Vader came back with Savage went for his Hotshot move but got thrown off.  Vader came back with a series of body shots and a Vader attack.  Vader then hit a Vader Attack in the corner followed by a vicious short lariat that knocked the challenger out.  Vader then got the pinfall.

Big Van Vader pinned Randy Savage after a short lariat in 0:10:52.
Rating: ****
(Big Van Vader retained the GWF Heavyweight Title.)

After the match as Vader celebrated Muhammad Hassan came out and gave mocking applause as the fans left the arena.

I mark for the Powers of Pain - glad to see them win the tag titles, and they even have Heenan in their corner. Are they faces?

Nowinski is putting his Harvard diploma to good use... haha... he's a Hardcore Icon now!! Sandman HAS to challenge Nowinski at some point for making that claim!

A 5* match out of Funaki/Taka and the Road Warriors. That rocks! With that upset win, Funaki/Taka have to be considered as top contendors - unless of course they have to go through the Mean Street Posse first.

Why would anyone mock Vader? Hassan is INSANE! Vader is going to kill him when the time comes!

The PoP are faces only because E&C are heels.  I do my cards a little differently.  I basically set it up in order of the rankings unless someone interferes against someone.  Also if there is a story line going (the Nowinksi thing, or the Hassan/Vader/Foley thing).  So you will see E&C face the on the next show and maybe a few shows if they stay as the top ranked team.  Thanks for the feedback.

That's a cool way to do shows. I used to do shows that way, but I was trying a little something different on my previous two circuits and on my most recent one, I'm using a Ruleset...

I'm looking forward to the next show.
