SCHOOL OF HARD KNOX - BACK TO SCHOOL BASH
DATE: SEPTEMBER 10 2005
LOCATION: AMAZURA BALLROOM - JAMAICA, QUEENS, NY

Last month, we saw The SAT walk into the Amazura Ballroom as a visiting tag team and by the end of the night, they were crowned the inaugural Heavy Hitters of Hard Knox Wrestling.

We also saw Juventud Guerrera become the NEW Head of the Class and join Raven's Flock as well as the formation of The Triple Threat by Shane Douglas.

After the event was over, Shane Douglas questioned as to why no one asked Palumbo, Ace or D'Lo Brown to participate in the tournament . He went on to say that with him leading these men, this preferential treatment will cease to occur.

Shane Douglas signed his men into some interesting contests tonight starting with our opening bout - a four corners match pitting the 4 top tag teams in the company against each other.

At that point, the big ABYSS from TNA came down the aisle and went right after Benoit. Raven had a HUGE smile on his face watching this unfold.

"Hey Juventud! Guess i'll be seeing YOU again next month."

Juvy stopped in his tracks and turned back to look at Ridge

Ridge then said "Thats right. You and me - next month - this time, it's FOR the title. You obviously don't read your contracts very well or you would've saw the clause that stated "IF Kevin Ridge lasts past 10 minutes in the NON

Juventud Guerrera and Tommy Dreamer  tried to save Raven but Rhyno & Benoit cut them off and began to brawl with them.

We ended the night with all 6 men brawling in and out of the ring.

Card rating: *** 1/2

Next Month:

Hard Knox has decided that they need to put some of their top guys through the ringer to see if they are worthy enough of competing for Head of the Class in the near future. Therefore, next month we will be holding a gauntlet to determine a new Top Contender for the Head of the Class title.

We don't know in what order they will be but the participants thus far are:

AJ Styles, Terry Funk, Chris Benoit & Christopher Daniels as well as a few other unknown combatants.

Also in action will be...

* Former tag partners collide as Johnny Stamboli faces Chuck Palumbo. Stamboli is a bit perturbed that Palumbo left him behind and moved on to becoming a member of The Triple Threat. This is his chance to gain some much deserved revenge.

* Another 4 teams will compete in a Four Corners match but THIS ONE will be with elimination rules. The competing teams are:

Van Wild & Scott Starring
The Harris Twins (Ron & Don)
The Suicide Kings (Despair/Spikyjim)
Zach Gowen & Chris Sabin

* The SAT will have their FIRST tag title defense but it will be with the help of BJ Whitmer as they face Raven & Dreamer along with Abyss.

Either Raven or Dreamer must pin either Joel or Jose Maximo for the titles to change hands.

*We will also see Juventud Guerrera defend his Head of the Class title unwillingly against Kevin Ridge who was able to outsmart Juvy into getting this match made.

* Shane Douglas has asked that all of his men be given constant competition so Johnny Ace & D'Lo Brown will face America's Most Wanted. If Ace & Brown win, they will get their shot at the Heavy Hitters tag titles, regardless of who are the champions.

* And our main event will be a tag team showcase as Mohammed Yone & Rhyno face a visting tag team from NWJ in Japan - Jushyn Lyger & Tiger Mask IV (The Thundercats).

See ya next month!
americamamushiPosted on 03/09/05 at 08:32:02

Finally, the long awaited americamamushi feedback.  I hadn't realized I was so popular... I mean, look at all these fans... er... fan I have ;)

Two nice stables shaping up I see.  One with a big title in their midsts, helps make thing all that much more interesting.

Top four tag teams in Knox and the boys from Triple Threat come out on top.  *strokes white cat* excellent.... excellent... :)  And then the Harris brothers?  Oh no, and they obliterate the Triple Threat.  I guess that's to be expected.  Doesn't look like Brown & Palumbo will be making their way toward the tag belts untill they finish with the Harris brothers... or vice versa.

Still not a Gowan fan, but I likes me some Chris Sabin and Terry Funk.  Looks like everyone has their own agenda tonight.

Wow, BIG upset win for Yone.

Haha, the remaining half of the CsC is STILL getting his ass handed to him by Saturn.

Damn you Tommy Dreamer!  Abyss is quite the monsterous surprise.  And Benoit creams him!  Nice big win for Benoit.  And it should be noted that Abyss never tapped out, which may possibly be useful to remember for future storylines. ;)

Shannon Moore has two things stacked against him.  1) He's Shannon Moore in Hard Knox and there for, by law, cannot win a match on his own accord. and 2) It's a farewell match.  People that are leaving rarely win their farewell matches because the rub (even if slight) on the remaining wrestler is more benificial.

For now Juvy seems a little out of place in the Flock, but that could easily change.  Ridge may get his title shot next month, but he still didn't make a convincing arguement that he could be a threat to the title tonight.

Nice debut from Styles.  Dreamer is great for putting someone over.

Whitmer accepting Raven's challenge?  Unexpected.  And everyone and their brother get involved in the end.  :)  Nuttin' like a clusterfuck to finish off a show ;)

Gauntlet looks interesting.
CarlzillaPosted on 03/09/05 at 12:13:04

Man, Thundercats are getting around. What a pair of fed sluts!

It secretly makes me happy inside to know that people for some reason are drawn to the pair though...
rey619Posted on 03/09/05 at 13:16:20

;D  the Thundercats have a busy US schedule, that's fer sure

You should take it as a compliment Carl.. unless you plan on suing us  :-/
CarlzillaPosted on 03/09/05 at 13:25:28

Nah it costs too much to sue. Plus it's more publicity for NWJ, and you can't complain about that.

HEY - ya still got August to feedback on as well. *grin*

Two nice stables shaping up I see.  One with a big title in their midsts, helps make thing all that much more interesting.
absolutely - and i'm sure its only a matter of time before these two groups cross paths - especially with Palumbo making such an impact in the singles division.

YEP! one BIG roadblock to overcome before the gold can even be an issue for The Triple Threat.

Still not a Gowan fan, but I likes me some Chris Sabin and Terry Funk.  Looks like everyone has their own agenda tonight.
hmm - would you prefer it if Gowen's other leg was taken out from under him by say....Spikyjim? =)

Wow, BIG upset win for Yone.
actually i booked him to win - couldnt think of anything to do with Austin and plus Yone was just resigned to a deal - wasn't gonna let him just lose. Besides, Yone winning made a bigger impact.

Haha, the remaining half of the CsC is STILL getting his ass handed to him by Saturn.
Yea - i'll probably drop Buff-E soon and the jury is still out on what to do with Saturn.

Damn you Tommy Dreamer!  Abyss is quite the monsterous surprise.  And Benoit creams him!  Nice big win for Benoit.  And it should be noted that Abyss never tapped out, which may possibly be useful to remember for future storylines. ;)
When i think of big men, I cant help but think of Abyss - esp when it comes to an enforcer type for Raven's Flock. Hmm - nice catch that Abyss never tapped but I think i'll let it go.

100% correct, my friend.

For now Juvy seems a little out of place in the Flock, but that could easily change.  Ridge may get his title shot next month, but he still didn't make a convincing arguement that he could be a threat to the title tonight.
Think of Juvy as the HHH of Hard Knox (he doesn't care who he is hanging with - just as long as he remains the champ)

Nice debut from Styles.  Dreamer is great for putting someone over.
Very true again - look at what he's done for 1/2 of the WWE roster over time.

Whitmer accepting Raven's challenge?  Unexpected.  And everyone and their brother get involved in the end.  :)  Nuttin' like a clusterfuck to finish off a show ;)
Yea that was a crazy ending and can only get crazier as time goes by.
VertigoPosted on 03/10/05 at 13:30:54

Palumbo & D'Lo proved that they should have been in the tag team tournament by defeating three teams. Then the Harris Brothers ruined their night. I don't know if that was a wise choice by the Harris Brothers because now they just might have the Triple Threat breathing down their necks for their entire SOHK stay.

That's a hell of a good rating for the six-man tag. The Triple Threat is going to have every single name on the roster on their hit list any day now! Poor old Funker.

I welcome the idea of Juvy in Raven's Flock. I can imagine him wrestling in ragged clothes and wearing black eyeliner. He could fit the role easily. As for Kevin J. Ridge, I don't think Juvy has anything to worry about next month - but I could be wrong.

Whitmer has some damn good allies in Rhyno and Benoit. If I were Raven's Flock, I would be worried about this trio.

Well like I said - they get thru the Harris Twins and they can have their tag title shot. Even if they dont, they'll get their shot in due time.

Well the heat between Spiky, Despair, Gowen and Sabin on top of the presence of Funk and Ace is instant ratings.

oh yea - it should be an interesting 3 on 3 feud.
