SCHOOL OF HARD KNOX - GRADUATION NIGHT
DATE: JUNE 18 2005
LOCATION: AMAZURA BALLROOM - JAMAICA, QUEENS, NY

Tonight was the School of Hard Knox's "Graduation Night" event where the first Head of the Class would be decided. Also tonight we would see a tag team Barbed Wire match between Dean Malenko & Perry Saturn on one side and The Christopher St. Connection on the other.

The opening contest was between Chris Hamrick and a possible new signee to HARD KNOX. Hamrick waited in the ring for a minute or two and then he grew impatient. He got on the house mic and taunted whoever it was he was set to face to come on down to the ring because "Tonight, The South will rise again!"

That's when we heard the breaking of glass over the PA system and the crowd was on their feet because they knew it could only be ONE man coming through the curtain...STONE COLD Steve Austin!!!

Austin got in the ring and proceeded to beat the tar out of Hamrick as the bell rang.

In what can only be described as an AMAZING upset, "Confederate" Chris Hamrick defeated a visting "Stone
Cold" Steve Austin. It took everything in the security's power to prevent a full scale riot from breaking.

Hamrick was standing on the turnbuckle boasting his win when Austin rose up from the mat and pulled him down. He then gave him a kick to the gut and a HUGE Stunner that sent Hamrick reeling backwards to the mat. Austin then called out to the crowd for someone to toss him a beer. But instead of one, he got a bunch of cans tossed to him which he busted open and poured on an unconscious Hamrick.

Once Austin left the ring, we were set for the next match -   a tag team contest between Wild & Starring and the team of Shannon Moore & Steve Rizzono.

[James Robinson and Lance Williams interfered against Van Wild.]

The feud between Real Xtreme and Wild/Starring is far from over as we learned from the events during this match. The fact that Real Xtreme has cost them a precious victory does not go over well in the minds of Starring and WILD.

As for Shannon Moore, he could not believe he was actually getting his hand raised for once in HARD KNOX.

This truly is becoming quite a graduation for some as we've seen two unexpected victors and we're only two matches into the night.

The Dynamic Dudes reunited for one night to go up against Terry Funk and what was an unlikely choice of partner in Kevin J. Ridge. Funk said prior to the match that he saw alot of potential in Kevin Ridge and was hoping to help him along in HARD KNOX starting with this match.

Rating: *** 1/4

Chris Sabin got his mind back on track and he won the match.  What happened after the match was what got the most attention.

As Sabin was celebrating his first win in a long time, the man with the cowboy hat that we've been seeing these last few weeks rushed through the crowd and jumped the railing. He turned Sabin around and almost took his head off with a HUGE lariat.

The man then looked at a crumpled Sabin and said "I told you last week but i'll tell you again. You stalk a King and you are asking for trouble". He then rolled out of the ring and walked to the back.

Chris Sabin was helped to the back and we were set for our next match - the Barbed Wire contest featuring Dean Malenko & Perry Saturn vs. The Christopher St. Connection.

Rating: **

Saturn and Malenko asked for this match and they obviously knew what they were talking about because they got the win they were looking for here. The Christopher St. Connection were very cautious of the barbed wire tonight and that may have cost them the match.

Rating: ** 3/4

Real Xtreme didn't do so well in this match. They were obviously very occupied with the presence of Van Wild & Starring standing at the top of the aisle and it threw their gameplan off.

Despair and Dreamer put on an amazing 10 minute match that could've gone either way many times.

Raven was watching the match from the stage - the question is whether he was checking out Despair to play mind games with Spikyjim or was he checking out Tommy Dreamer to play mind games with Dreamer himself.

(Chris Benoit is the HEAD OF THE CLASS.)

Chris Benoit has just become the first ever HEAD OF THE CLASS in School of Hard Knox Wrestling.

Raven was very upset at this turn of events as he rushed down to the ring and attacked Chris Benoit.

The surprising thing is that Tommy Dreamer came down to the ring after him and everyone thought it was to stop Raven. But NOOO, Dreamer did the opposite and began helping Raven in his attack on the champion.

Officials pulled Dreamer and Raven off of Benoit and directed them towards the back.  As we ended the show, we saw Raven on the stage screaming "WHAT ABOUT ME! WHAT ABOUT RAVEN!"

Card rating: *** 1/2

Wha???  Steve Austin?  Didn't see that one coming.  GINORMOUS UPSET!!!!1~

Real Xtreme interferance... ouch.  That's gotta suck.  I can't believe Moore is getting his hand raised either.  Of course, it's thanks to Rizzono so he probably shouldn't go too bat shit over it. ;)

*marks for the Dynamic Dudes*  Guys with 80s surfer clothes and skateboards are soo teh sh1t :D lol

Good to see Sabin get a win against Stamboli.  Even though it may seem he's going a bit loopy at times, he needs the wins to establish him as a threat to who his craziness is targeted at.  Cowboy hat man=JBL?  The "King" part is throwing me if it's meant to be taken at full value.

Saturn & Malenko on top again.  I suspected as much.  CsC really doesn't want to give up.  Gotta give'em that.

Real XTreme & Starring/Van Wild really like to screw up eachother's matches.  I guess given that fact, it was only a matter of time till Rhyno/Whitmer & Yone (almost sounds like a law firm) went over

Dispair almost lost it after trying that first 450.  Risky move trying it again so quickly, but it paid off.

Wow, I was wrong here.  I think I predicted Benoit to win (I don't feel like going back and checking at the moment) but Juvi lasted much longer than I thought.  Dreamer turn?  Oh no, Benoit is in trouble.  Raven has minions... well... at least A minion.  I think Benoit will have his work cut out for him concerning Raven in the monthes to come

Good stuff

very true - maybe i'll turn that into an idea for a match sometime down the line - Rizonno beats Moore up for stealing HIS glory.

Ah but it was just a DD reunion in name - Shane and Ace were definitely not toting skateboards.

i guess it's not fair to be basing a storyline on fantasy character info so i'll clue you in on something - Spikyjim & Despair are 2/3 of a group called The Suicide Kings.

Saturn & Malenko on top again.  I suspected as much.  CsC really doesn't want to give up.  Gotta give'em that.
Yea but if you have ever seen CsC in action before, you'd never expect them to do very well in a violent match as Barbed Wire.

Real XTreme & Starring/Van Wild really like to screw up eachother's matches.  I guess given that fact, it was only a matter of time till Rhyno/Whitmer & Yone (almost sounds like a law firm) went over
hehe - thanks to Rhyno Whitmer and Yone i was able to have my lawsuit GORE'd right out of court. =)

thanks again. oh absolutely - if there is one thing you dont want as a wrestler, it's Raven skulking after you. As for Dreamer being a minion, he's far removed from Stevie Richards quality.
