SCHOOL OF HARD KNOX - *TAX* APPRECIATION NIGHT
DATE: APRIL 16 2005
LOCATION: AMAZURA BALLROOM - JAMAICA, QUEENS, NY

It's one day after the government got it's share of everyone's hard earned dollars and that included our fans. So SCHOOL OF HARD KNOX WRESTLING decided to hold this event to give a little something back to those who just got their pockets emptied by Uncle Sam.

The card was quite an exciting one as we would be seeing some new faces to HARD KNOX as well as our usual ones compete in action.

The opening match of the evening was our 3 way tag team match between Real Xtreme, Van Wild & Scott Starring, and America's Most Wanted.

America's Most Wanted got stuck in a bad situation and it cost them a win as they were defeated in this 3 way tag team match by Van Wild & Scott Starring.

After the match, Wild & Starring brawled with Real Xtreme and a match has been made between the two teams for next month.

Chris Sabin has has the worst luck in SCHOOL OF HARD KNOX as he suffered ANOTHER loss and this time, it was to newcomer Steve Rizzono.

A noteable moment during the match was when Chris Sabin was outside and one of the ringside fans tossed his drink at Sabin. All we know is that it was a man in a cowboy hat who was berating Sabin during the entire match. He was escorted out by security after he tossed the drink at Sabin.

Johnny Ace showed he was out for only himself as he added his tag partner from two months ago, Chris Hamrick to his list of victims since he's arrived in HARD KNOX WRESTLING. Shannon Moore showed some promise in the match but just couldn't get the job done over Johnny Ace.

After the match was over and the ring was clear, Shane Douglas came down with a microphone in hand and got in the ring.

Interview:
Shane Douglas talks about being the unofficial Best of the Best

Shane Douglas came out to the ring and began to talk about his round robin competition last month against Chris Benoit and Raven. He went on to say how HE should've been crowned the Best of the Best being as he has now
beaten Raven TWICE and Benoit has yet to beat him ONCE.

He moved on to address the talk of this new signee who he would be facing tonight and how everyone is saying this person is making HUGE waves in the industry. Shane then told that person, whoever they may be to get down to the ring and see if they can make waves against THE FRANCHISE and the rightful owner to the name "THE BEST OF THE BEST".

At that point, "Desperado" played over the PA system and Shane's expression turned to one of shock as we saw his rival from both ECW and XPW, TERRY FUNK come through the curtains.

BJ Whitmer and Rhyno secure another tag team win in HARD KNOX. SpikyJim was a bit upset at the loss, especially since he wasn't even the legal man. The referee claimed he lost control of the match when it went outside and just counted whatever pinfall he saw when the action returned to inside the ring.

Card rating: *** 1/4

Next month:

HARD KNOX is holding it's inaugural 16 man tournament to decide the first HEAD OF THE CLASS. The first two round of the tournament will take place starting next month and the final 4 will compete in the finals in June.

So far, the matchups for Round 1 are as follows:

* Chris Benoit will face a mystery entrant

* Chuck Palumbo & Johnny Ace will do battle - both men are coming off impressive runs in the first three months. Which one will suffer their first crushing blow?

* Chris Sabin is facing a mystery entrant - all we know of this is that HARD KNOX officials are very upset at Sabin's recent behavior and this may end up being a form of punishment for him.

* Word about HARD KNOX has gotten around and a few international superstars are interested in making a presence felt here. Two in particular will be touring the U.S. next month and have asked to participate in the tournament. So our fourth matchup will be LA PARKA vs JUVENTUD GUERRA.

* Shane Douglas will face Shannon Moore. Shane is fuming over his loss to Terry Funk while Moore is still looking to make a name for himself.

* SpikyJim will face Chris Hamrick

* Raven has agreed to face ANYONE that wishes to step in the ring with him.

* Terry Funk has signed a 1 year contract and he will be in the tournament to face someone who is making a one night only appearance just to do battle with The Funker. Who that someone is we can not reveal.

* And to step away from singles action, we will have a tag team contest between Real Xtreme and the team of Van Wild & Scott Starring inside a STEEL CAGE.

In other news, Dean Malenko & Perry Saturn have signed on with HARD KNOX for 6 months. They feel they have not had the last shot at The Christopher St. Connection. They said if it takes the whole 6 months to do so, then that's what it takes .

Also signing a 6 month agreement with HARD KNOX is Tommy Dreamer.

Always looking for some feedback so feel free to comment on any and everything (just as long as you mention it ONCE and not five times over)
rey619Posted on 02/18/05 at 20:21:58

Well, to be honest I liked your TNA circuit better, but then again I prefer X/Cruiser wrestling to Hardcore. Anyway, I will probably grow to like it in time. You also have a couple of guys I don't know much about.. local wrestlers?
Shaun SindelmanPosted on 02/18/05 at 20:29:29

Which guys do you not know? I'll be glad to explain about them. some guys are original creations so those may be the ones you have never heard of.

Yes, match win with the surfboard! w00tage :)

Wild & Starring vs. Real Xtreme?  Looking forward to it.  Having a feeling that the match next month will be far from the end of things between those two teams though.

Never heard of Rizzono, but it seems after beating Sabin in a pretty well rated match he'll become a name in Hard Knox.  Of course, he might not have been so lucky if it wasn't for that mysterious cowboy's beverage. ;) Curious to see who cowboy hat man is.  By the way, what kind of move is the Corporate Takeover?

Yes!  Ace continues the win streak!

*marks the hell out for Terry Funk* And he wins too!  Take that Douglas, huzzah!

Gotta love the lights-go-off-then-come-back-on-and-someone-out-of-nowhere-is-standing-in-the-ring bit ;)  So usefull... except of course when the person you're trying to surprise beats the crap out of you... poor Tommyboy.

Perry Saturn as Malenko's partner.  A choice that makes sense.  Joe Malenko would have been a good choice too, but more people know Perry.

Two big draws right in a row... and a Sabin interference?  I think he's got a little too much on his plate right now.  I have a feeling it's gona bite him in the ass too.

Cool to see Daniels back.  I'm a fallen angel fan.  Seeing as the return is one night only, it's good that SpikeyJim was in the fall instead of Daniels.  Spikey not being legal and getting pinned after a reversal adds some fuel to the fire for a future tag match with Spikey & his partner trying to avenge a wrongful loss.

oh absolutely - i'm finally living out my intent to put those 2 teams in a  vicious rivalry.

Rizonno was a lackey in XPW (never really amounted to much) - not  sure whart the CT is but i will look it up in my TNM when i get home from work and get back to ya.

As for the cowboy hat man, you'll learn more of him in the months to come.

hehe - glad you're enjoying his impressive run thus far.

Haha - couldnt be anyone other than The Funker to hand a loss to Shane and make it hurt ever so much.

Very true but hey - im sure if Raven never left ECW for WCW, Dreamer probably never wouldve gotten a win over Raven.

glad my choice made sense. not familiar with Joe - couldve gone with Eddie Guerrero as well.

yea - i gotta do something bout my time limits or match settings to avoid the consistent draws ive been getting. As for Sabin, yea that dude is gonna get into a wicked bit of trouble if he keeps pissin the wrong people off.

i didnt think of that but yea, Spiky does indeed have a gripe now.

Yep...

Real Xtreme are fantasy guys of my own creation that i used for email wrestling.

Van Wild & Scott Starring are fantasy wrestlers as well and regular feud partners for Real Xtreme.

Spikyjim and Despair are also fantasy wrestlers and are regular stablemates in The Suicide Kings.

That's it for now. I'll try to make a note at the end of my cards if a guy who debuted is a fantasy guy.

not familiar with Raw Vegas but after looking at their Yahoo group (vegaswrestling), it does indeed seem that VW and SS are or were once part of that e-fed.

I know SS and VW better from when both they and Real Xtreme were part of Rumble Pro Wrestling and now both teams are in WILD.

Sorry for the e-wrestling talk in the circuits section, that is all.
