no angles or interviews or any reason for any match no clue what any of the storylines are or how they were advanced.

dude! you're a broken record. he already explained that he had not ran the first 28 weeks with PBP on so he couldnt give match details.

as for the other stuff, he's getting used to the style of his circuit - other people have already informed him of what he's lacking. he doesnt need yet another person doing the same exact thing.
CarlzillaPosted on 02/17/05 at 04:35:46

I agree with Shaun, it was fine to let him know once...but don't discourage him too much, if you don't like the circuit don't read it. I personally am going to keep an eye on it because I have very little interest in american wrestling anymore...so it's nice to see a japanese fed.

Well, it's not an American wrestling style circuit so maybe that's why.
Shaun SindelmanPosted on 02/17/05 at 14:58:17

Au contraire...if you want to see a pretty decent japanese style circuit that actually maintains decent storylines as well, check out Carlzilla's puro circuit which is part of the GWA umbrella:

CarlzillaPosted on 02/18/05 at 03:56:13

Thanks for the plug! It's good to know that some people read my circuit. I'm falling behind again because I am adding a ton of new japanese arenas to the arena plug in (I have about 400 added.) but as soon as that project is out of the way, I'll have the rest of my GP Climax tournament up.

Another sugguestion to JimmiC:
I also use Troy's match maker plugin, but instead of letting it book all of the matches I only use it to do filler. Come up with some plot for some of your wrestlers, not story so much, but just things that set them apart from one another. Minoru Tanaka's trying to break into the NWJ heavyweight scene is an example, it's not a full on WWE style story, but some people will want to keep reading to see how he fairs against opponents in the new weightclass. So then I would book Tanaka's matches against some of the heavyweights in NWJ, then use match maker to fill in the rest of the cards. I have a few plots going so I book about 3-4 matches a card on my own and then use MM3 to fill it in. This keeps people interested and you end up with less random match-ups.

First of all, Thank you the latest suggestion, Carlzilla. I'll take that under discretion. As for you, TerryFunka, didn't you read what I said the first time. I hate to repeat myself, but, this is how I lose interest in TNM7 circuits online, people heckling my circuits. But for the last time,
I'M LEARNING THIS AS I GO!!! CAPISH!!! Anyway, I would like to thank everybody who has read this so far & has liked it. I'm appreciated by it. Another viewer on this site, personally E-mailed me & said that he liked my circuit, namely Peter Abram, you know TNM UK, the guy with the exports that I can't find, that guy. Even he don't have any complaints about it. But, thanks everybody for the support & keep on supporting this circuit, expect some bigger things from Super Japan Pro Wrestling in the next upcoming weeks. I can't wait to get the Backstage GM plugin when Ryan Solberg gets done with it, but one question to Socko, what happened to TNM-UV? Let me know. But thank you & stay tuned for the second round.
SuperstarJimiCPosted on 02/18/05 at 16:48:16

By the way, what does everybody think of my new logo on the side? Let me know.
rey619Posted on 02/18/05 at 17:09:51

The logo is great, but you might want to change your tag line to CAPISH.. which is how it is written..

Anyway, don't listen to the non-constructive critic. You don't need to do angles and interviews and stuff in a tournament, but you might want to write a couple of lines how the match went down. Even though you already ran the card, you can make something up.
Like for example:

"Shelley and Puma were fighting on the outside in the opening seconds of this match, when the one-legged Gowan suddenly hit a moonsault on Ghost Shadow, pulling the tights for the win."

Also, I know many strictly follow unbooked TNM, but sometimes it gives you something as ridiculous as an 18 second 4 corner match. You might want to consider just pressing 'c'. I have a house rule saying that no matches under 5 minutes, but this is just a suggestion of course.
SuperstarJimiCPosted on 02/18/05 at 17:27:40

Thank you for that suggestion, rey619. I'll take that under discretion. Sorry if I spelled Capish wrong. I heard it so many times by watching "The Sopranos". Very funny about one-legged Zach Gowen. Real shame that he's a heel. People, check out Export files under Joshi Wrestlers. How did you like the plug Rey?
rey619Posted on 02/18/05 at 17:55:25

thanks for the plug. I really do like making exports.. feels like I'm contributing to the TNM society and something.

Don't worry about the spelling mistake.. I am linguist by trade and always tend to correct people's spelling.. they are mostly annoyed by it..  :(
Snabbit888Posted on 02/18/05 at 19:36:42

rey619, don't worry about it. I'm a huge proponent of spelling being correct in a TNM circuit/forum post/e-mail/etc. If somebody doesn't care enough to try to spell words right, why should I care what they have to say?

And for the record, though I don't think it was most fine-tuned feedback in the world, TerryFunka's feedback wasn't "non-constructive." This circuit doesn't have angles or storylines and it's just match results, so how is it non-constructive? That's something that kind of irks me; people want feedback to their stuff, but if it's even remotely negative, everyone freaks out.

Hey, but if Peter doesn't have any complaints... :) Heh.
