VertigoPosted on 02/03/05 at 17:15:58

Introducing... Big Battle Wrestling!

This federation is NOT booked at all, however I do enforce 'strict pushes.' After every fourth show, win/losses and match ratings are taken into consideration and pushes are adjusted accordingly. This gives people who are working harder a better chance to shine in the main event, and those who aren't working too well to be pushed further down the card and maybe even let go.

The roster as of Week 14:
Babyfaces: Axl Rotten, Bruiser Brody, Gary Albright, J.T. Smith, Ken Patera, Mike Barton, Mustafa, New Jack, Rick Martel, Tommy Dreamer
Heels: Abdullah The Butcher, Bad News Brown, Bobby Eaton, C.W. Anderson, Earthquake, Hulk Hogan, Jim Powers, Mohammed Yone, Nailz, Outback Jack, Paul Roma, Sid Vicious

BBW Champion:
2. Sid Vicious
- defeated Tommy Dreamer at Week 12
1. Tommy Dreamer
- defeated Bruiser Brody at Week 4

BBW Tag Team Champions:
3. The Young Stallions (Paul Roma & Jimmy Powers) (2)
- defeated The Gangstas and C.W. Anderson & Earthquake in a 3 Way Dance at Week 12
2. The Gangstas (New Jack & Mustafa)
- defeated The Young Stallions at Week 10
1. The Young Stallions (Paul Roma & Jim Powers)
- defeated The Gangstas & The Bushwhackers in a Triple Threat at Week 4

Welcome to the boards Vertigo! It seems like an interesting circuit, lots and lots of brawling powerhouses. Honestly, that's not my cup of tea, but if you present your cards in an interesting fashion, I'll probably stick to it.
americamamushiPosted on 02/03/05 at 21:21:00

definently a mix of talent here.  From the looks of it, it seems that even though you've taken wrestlers from different places and times that they should mesh together nicely.  I'm going to randomly predict that Sid Vicious will win the title, but I'll have my fingers crossed for Gary Albright. :D

Week 1
Axl Rotten (***) pinned Mohammed Yone after a DDT in 0:03:21 in a BBW Championship Qualifying Match.... C.W. Anderson (*) pinned Billy Jack Haynes after a spinebuster slam in 0:17:46 in a BBW Championship Qualifying Match.... Ken Patera (* 1/4) defeated Earthquake when Earthquake passed out in the Full Nelson in 0:02:25 in a BBW Championship Qualifying Match; Earthquake suffered an elbow injury. He will be out for approximately 1 card.... Bad News Brown (DUD) pinned Gary Albright after a powerslam in 0:10:25 in a BBW Championship Qualifying Match.... Outback Jack and Rip Rogers (1/4 *) defeated The Bushwhackers (Bushwhacker Luke and Bushwhacker Butch) when Rip Rogers made Luke submit to the Sleeeperhold in 0:13:33.... Paul Roma (DUD) pinned Sid Vicious with the Flying Bodypress in 0:16:14 in a BBW Championship Qualifying Match.... Bruiser Brody (DUD) pinned Mustafa with the Bombs Away in 0:00:37 in a BBW Championship Qualifying Match.... Abdullah the Butcher  (-3/4 *) pinned Jim Powers with his special move in 0:11:54 in a BBW Championship Qualifying Match.... Tommy Dreamer (* 3/4) pinned New Jack with the Dreamer DDT in 0:02:10 in a No-DQ, BBW Championship Qualifying Match....

My Comments
The opener was the best match of the night as Axl picks up the win after using the ring bell followed by a DDT on Yone. C.W Anderson was very aggressive in his match. Earthquake hurt his elbow executing a sidewalk slam and after the match told reporters that Patera took advantage of the injury to get the win. Bad News dominated in his match. Paul Roma wins the upset of the night against Sid. After the match, Sid was going to Powerbomb Roma, but the officials were able to pull him off before he could do it. Brody wins in 37 seconds... boo! Jim Powers busted Abby open with knuckles, but lost after Abby stabbed him with a fork. Dreamers wins a match that should have been more hardcore than it was. Overall: 1/4 *

Week 2 Card

ah yes.. the very friendly PWI Arena Reports style of write up for the results.  :)  Nicely done.

I'm glad to see my pre-card pick of Bad News Brown made it through the first round.  (yeah I know I didn't post it here, but Bad News was my pick)

How can one NOT like a circuit with Abby and Rip Rogers in it?  Seems like it has a bit of a WWC late-80s/early-90s feel to the roster.

Do you mean WCW or the Carribbean promotion WWC? I picked everyone for the federation by random, so any similarities are completely unintentional.

Thanks for checking my circuit out and leaving comments, I appreciate it. I'll be posting all my cards in this single topic.
Rick GarrardPosted on 02/04/05 at 04:52:09

I meant Puerto Rico based WWC.

You got Brody, the Sheepherders, Abby. Rip Rogers, the Gangstas and D-Lo (who went there when they were working for Cornette's SMW if not mistaken), and Tommy Dreamer.  All of whom at one time or another have set foot in a WWC ring.

And I'm probably missing some of the others that may have worked there as well, but my WWC knowledge is lacking pre-PWI issues that I possess.

I do have to say that it's nice to watch wrestling from Puerto Rico currently, since they are like the only place on earth where kayfabe still seems to exist.  And the fans love the faces and boo the heels.  And tweeners are few and far between unless they are kicked out of both locker rooms.  :)

And your roster is nothing like a WCW roster.

VertigoPosted on 02/04/05 at 15:38:49

Oh! I had no idea... I'm not real familiar with the WWC promotion as I've only seen a few shows (one being a pretty sweet cruiserweight tournament).

The reason I thought you may have meant WCW is because you only mentioned Abby and Rip Rogers, who if I'm correct, were in WCW around the same along with Sid Vicious and Paul Roma and maybe even Axl Rotten when he was starting out.
TerryFunkaPosted on 02/04/05 at 17:36:20

Abby and Rip Rogers were in there in the early 90s Abby was also in the nwa in the 80s fueding with carlos colon in violent as hell matches. But at the point of Roma coming in as pretty wonderful I believe both men were long gone from wcw and back on the indy scene.

Week 2 predictions
---------------------------------
The Gangstas vs The Buschwackers - Unless the sheepherders show up the Gangstas will win
Sid Vicious, Mohammed Yone, & Outback Jack vs. Gary Albright, Billy Jack Haynes, & Jim Powers -  I predict that Sid's team will win as essiantially it comes down to Sid vs Albright where Sid would win
C.W . Anderson vs Ken Patera - This match will be interesting but unless Patera has a wrestling breakthrough the drugs Anderson will take it
Brody vs Roma - Hahahahahahahahahahahahah RIP Roma nice knowing you Brody is going to win with the Bombs Away after coming as close to raping Roma in a wrestling ring as possible.
Abdullah vs Axl Rotten - This oughta be a hell of a brawl but Abby can take Mad Man Pondo and Carlos Colon so he can take Axl Rotten.
Tommy Dreamer vs Bad News Brown - If this goes into a shoot fight without a doubt Bad News has got this but if its a violent brawl I go with Dreamer who has the ECW edge
VertigoPosted on 02/04/05 at 21:44:32

Week 2
The Gangstas (New Jack and Mustafa) (-* 1/4) defeated The Bushwhackers (Bushwhacker Luke and Bushwhacker Butch) when New Jack pinned Luke after a Diving Chair in 0:05:05.... Ken Patera (1/4 *) defeated C.W. Anderson by disqualification in 0:12:38 in a BBW Championship Tournament Quarterfinals Match.... Bruiser Brody (* 1/2)  pinned Paul Roma with the Bombs Away in 0:08:48 in a BBW Championship Tournament Quarterfinals Match.... Gary Albright, Jim Powers and Billy Jack Haynes (1/2 *) defeated Sid Vicious, Mohammed Yone and Outback Jack when Powers pinned M. Yone after a flying dropkick in 0:08:41.... Abdullah the Butcher (* 1/2) pinned Axl Rotten with the Sudanese Elbowdrop in 0:08:28 in a No-DQ, BBW Championship Tournament Quarterfinals Match....Tommy Dreamer w/Beulah (1/2 *) pinned Bad News Brown with the Dreamer DDT in 0:00:54 in a BBW Championship Tournament Quarterfinals Match....

My Comments
Bushwhackers lose 2 weeks in a row. Again, C.W. Anderson looked extremely aggressive, but lost the match when Earthquake came out to attack Patera... after the match, Earthquake continued the assault on Patera and C.W. Anderson even joined in on the beating. Amazingly, Jim Powers picks up the win for his team in the 6-Man-Tag... Sid was IRATE after the match and wanted at Powers, but his teammates and the official held him back. The Axl/Abby match was quite a brawl. Dreamer wins the main event in 54 seconds. After the match he said he was sending a message to Brody saying he can win a match just like that *snaps his fingers* too! The final four in the BBW Championship Tournament are Ken Patera, Bruiser Brody, Abdullah The Butcher, and Tommy Dreamer. Overall: 3/4 *

Week 3 Lineup
   - Mohammed Yone vs. Billy Jack Haynes
   - C.W. Anderson & Earthquake vs. The Bushwhackers

TerryFunkaPosted on 02/04/05 at 21:53:42

woah i even predicted the finish in the brody roma match haha i did pretty good in the predictions.
americamamushiPosted on 02/05/05 at 00:08:30

I'm thinking that the finals will end up being Abby vs. the Gofather of the fuzzy boot.  And boy howdy will it be a blood bath.  ;)
VertigoPosted on 02/05/05 at 23:26:45

Week 3
Billy Jack Haynes (**** 1/4) made Mohammed Yone submit to the Full Nelson in 0:12:53.... C.W. Anderson and Earthquake (-* 3/4) defeated The Bushwhackers (Bushwhacker Luke and Bushwhacker Butch) when Earthquake pinned Butch after a powerslam in 0:06:12.... Bruiser Brody (* 1/2) pinned Ken Patera with the Bombs Away in 0:15:41 in a BBW Championship Tournament Semifinals Match.... Bad News Brown (1/2 *) pinned Axl Rotten with the Ghetto Blaster in 0:13:50.... The Young Stallions (Jim Powers and Paul Roma) and Gary Albright (*) defeated Sid Vicious, Rip Rogers, and Outback Jack when Powers pinned Rip Rogers with the Powerslam in 0:20:43.... Tommy Dreamer w/Beulah (*) pinned Abdullah the Butcher with the Dreamer DDT in 0:00:16 in a No-Countout, No-DQ, BBW Championship Tournament Semifinals Match....

My Comments
Haynes and Yone kicked this show off with a stellar match setting high standard for the show that would indeed NOT be met. The match was so good that they will have a rematch next week. C.W. Anderson & Earthquake looked impressive as a tag team. Bruiser Brody advances to the BBW Championship match after defeating Ken Patera. Reports say that during the match, Earthquake & C.W. Anderson were trying to get to the ring to attack Patera, but various wrestlers and officials were holding them back... however, as soon as Patera walked through the curtain, 'Quake & C.W.  got their shots in before being pulled off Patera. Jim Powers scores the win in another 6-Man-Tag Team match and again, Sid went ballistic! This time, when his teammates tried to hold him back they paid for it. Outback Jack was chokeslammed and Rip Rogers was powerbombed... Sid is INSANE!! Dreamer surprises Abdullah with the Dreamer DDT and scored the win in 16 seconds... but the bell ringing didn't mean anything to Abby. As soon as he gained his senses, he was right back at Dreamer. Some wrestlers and a few officials came out to break up the brawl, but instead an even bigger fight broke out! Everyone was going at it! Bad News Brown was fighting with Axl Rotten again, Gary Albright was getting stabbed in the head with a fork for trying to hold back Abby, Dreamer was throwing officials out of the ring. Bruiser Brody came out and started cleaning house throwing everyone out of the ring until it was him and Dreamer standing face-to-face in the center of the ring. After about 10 seconds of a staredown, the officials and wrestlers pulled them away from each other before anything could happen. What a match it will be next week for the BBW Championship! Overall: 3/4 *

Week 4
Mohammed Yone (***) pinned Billy Jack Haynes after a German suplex in 0:14:58.... Bad News Brown and Abdullah the Butcher (*) defeated Gary Albright and Axl Rotten when Abdullah pinned Albright with his special move in 0:19:31.... Sid Vicious (*) defeated Outback Jack and Rip Rogers in a handicapped match when Sid pinned Outback Jack after a powerslam in 0:27:09.... The Young Stallions (Jim Powers and Paul Roma) (-***) defeated The Gangstas (New Jack and Mustafa) and The Bushwhackers (Bushwhacker Luke and Bushwhacker Butch) in a triangle match to win the vacant BBW Tag Team Championship; Luke beat Mustafa via the Battering Ram in 0:16:15; Powers beat Butch via the Powerslam in 0:28:54.... C.W. Anderson and Earthquake (DUD) defeated Ken Patera and Hulk Hogan when Anderson pinned Patera after a spinebuster slam in 0:24:13.... Tommy Dreamer w/Beulah (** 3/4) pinned Bruiser Brody with the Dreamer DDT in 0:14:27 in a No-Countout, No-DQ Match to win the vacant BBW Championship....

My Comments
Yone and Haynes' match wasn't as good as last week, but it was the best match on the show for 2nd week in a row. Abby used his fork on Albright to get the win. This wouldn't be the last time we saw Abby and Bad News tonight. Sid Vicious wins the handicapped match even though I thought he wouldn't. Regardless of it being Outback Jack and Rip Rogers... it was still 2 on1! Big ups to Sid for defeating two men at once. Paul Roma and Jimmy Powers, better known as the Young Stallions, win the BBW Tag Team Championship in a very less than stellar match! Congrats to them. Patera's mystery partner was none other than "The Hulkster" but the two couldn't put away the awesome new tag team of C.W. & Earthquake... not tonight at least. Dreamer and Brody was a fight and a half! In the end, Dreamer brought a singapore cane into the ring, cracked Brody with it and then nailed the Dreamer DDT for the win. When the match was over, Dreamer helped up Brody and extended his hand... but before Brody had a chance to respond,  Bad News Brown and Abby hit the ring and started an attack on both men. Even Beulah couldn't escape harm as she tried to pull Bad News off of Dreamer but caught an elbow instead. BNB and Abby left Dreamer and Brody and Beulah down in the ring as they celebrated to the chorus of boos from the fans. Overall: 3/4 *

Week 5 Card Lineup
   - J.T Smith vs. Rip Rogers
   - Gary Albright vs. Mohammed Yone vs. Billy Jack Haynes
   - The Gangstas vs. The Young Stallions (non-title match)
   - Bad News Brown & Abdullah The Butcher vs. The Bushwhackers
   - Sid Vicious vs. Axl Rotten
   - Ken Patera & Hulk Hogan vs. C.W. Anderson & Earthquake (the rematch)
VertigoPosted on 02/08/05 at 00:31:55

Week 5 Results
J.T. Smith (*** 1/2) pinned Rip Rogers with the Moonsault in 0:12:03.... Mohammed Yone (** 1/4) defeated Billy Jack Haynes and Gary Albright when M. Yone made Haynes submit to the torture rack in 0:03:25 in a Triple Threat Match.... The Gangstas (New Jack and Mustafa) (*) defeated The Young Stallions (Jim Powers and Paul Roma) when New Jack pinned Roma with the Diving Headbutt in 0:18:06 in a non-title match.... The Bushwhackers (Bushwhacker Luke and Bushwhacker Butch) (-*** 1/4) defeated Bad News Brown and Abdullah the Butcher when Butch made Bad News submit to a Canadian backbreaker in 0:20:34.... Sid Vicious (3/4 *) pinned Axl Rotten with the Power Bomb in 0:15:03.... C.W. Anderson and Earthquake (DUD) defeated Hulk Hogan and Ken Patera when Anderson pinned Patera with the Gourdbuster in 0:22:55....

My Comments
J.T Smith looks impressive in his first match against Rip Rogers... which was surprisingly the best match of the show. Yone gets his second defeat over Billy Jack Haynes two weeks in a row... however, Gary Albright has challenged Yone to a singles match next week. The Gangstas said they would have won the tag team titles last week if The Bushwhackers were not in the match and tonight they may have proved that claim as they defeated the BBW Tag Team Champions in a non-title match. Next up, Bad News Brown and Abdullah The Butcher came out... and Bad News Brown had a challenge for Tommy Dreamer. Dreamer came out to the ring and stood face to face with Bad News Brown with the BBW Championship on his shoulder and Beulah standing behind him. First, Bad News called him a bad name since he and Brody had the night off. Then he proceeded to challenge Dreamer for the BBW Championship. Dreamer didn't respond, but Bad News said after him and Abdullah win their match tonight that Dreamer could not deny him a title shot. The Bushwhackers came out... and defeated Bad News and Abdullah. Dreamer came back out and told Bad News that if he can't defeat the Bushwhackers, then he has no chance to get a shot at his title. Bad News complained that it was a tag team match and it doesn't reflect on what he's capable of in singles competition. So Dreamer said he has to wrestle Luke one-on-one next week to prove himself worthy. Next up was a hell of a fight between Sid and Axl. After the match, Axl was visibly upset with himself. C.W. & Earthquake win again against Patera & Hogan in the rematch. After the match, Earthquake got on the microphone and said Hogan would regret ever coming to the BBW and that Patera should plan for an early retirement. He then waved to the back and out came none other than.... NAILZ!! The three men began to beat down on Hogan and Patera. None of the other wrestlers from the back came out to stop the attack. When C.W., 'Quake, and Nailz decided they were through, they left the ring while the fans threw garbage at them. Overall: -1/4 *

Week 6 Lineup
 - Bad News Brown vs. Bushwhacker Luke
 - C.W. Anderson, Earthquake, & Nailz vs. Hulk Hogan, Ken Patera, & Tommy Dreamer
 - Outback Jack vs. J.T. Smith
 - Mohammed Yone vs. Gary Albright
 - Sid Vicious & The Gangstas vs. Axl Rotten & The Young Stallions (Elimination Match)
 - Abdullah The Butcher vs. Bruiser Brody
VertigoPosted on 02/09/05 at 04:22:56

Week 6 Results
Bushwhacker Luke (-*) pinned Bad News Brown with the Battering Ram in 0:10:03.... Hulk Hogan, Ken Patera and Billy Jack Haynes (-**** 1/4) defeated C.W. Anderson, Earthquake and Nailz when Haynes defeated Earthquake by disqualification in 0:29:18.... Outback Jack (** 1/2) pinned J.T. Smith with the Gourdbuster in 0:10:42.... Gary Albright and Mohammed Yone (**) battled to a double countout in 0:07:00.... The Young Stallions (Jim Powers and Paul Roma) and Axl Rotten (*) beat The Gangstas (New Jack and Mustafa) and Rip Rogers 3 falls to 0 in an Elimination Match (Sid Vicious no-showed): Powers beat New Jack via a flying dropkick in 0:19:24; Roma beat Mustafa via the Flying Bodypress in 0:29:31; Powers beat Rip Rogers via the Powerslam in 0:37:55.... Abdullah the Butcher (**) pinned Bruiser Brody after a powerslam in 0:09:18....

My Comments
Bad News Brown did not defeat Luke and Tommy Dreamer let him know it as soon as the match was over. He came out from the back and told Bad News that there was no way he would defend his title against a loser like Bad News. Then Abby came out from the back and tagged Dreamer from behind with a kendo stick. Bad News came over and started helping with the beating on Tommy Dreamer. Bruiser Brody came out and started attacking both men. Bad News retreated to the back, but Abby and Brody continued brawling all over. When they were finally seperated, Brody challenged Abby to a matchup later in the evening! Dreamer was scheduled to be the tag team partner of Hogan and Patera in the next match, but due to the beating he suffered, he was no longer able to participate. Instead, Billy Jack Haynes took his place in the match. Outback Jack came out to HELP the team of C.W., Earthquake, & Nailz. His help got the team DQ'd. That stable continues to grow... now consisting of four people... but why Outback Jack? He was successful in the next match against J.T. Smith in a great match where he actually busted J.T. open. Albright and Yone were wrestling so fierce they both were counted out! A rematch is inevitable. Sid Vicious no-showed his match which did two things... 1, it put The Gangstas at a disadvantage because the only replacement available was Rip Rogers... and 2, Axl Rotten was IRATE! He wanted Sid so bad. After the match he called Sid a coward for not showing up and said that next week, if Sid decides to show, he would beat him down. The main event was BRUTAL!! They brawled all over using the ringsteps, a keyboard, and Abby busted Brody open with his kendo stick. Brody put up a great effort kicking out of two Sudanese Elbowdrops, but Abby pulled away victorious. Overall: * 1/2

Week 7 Lineup
   - Nailz & Outback vs. Ken Patera & Billy Jack Haynes
   - Mustafa vs. Jim Powers
   - Mohammed Yone vs. Gary Albright
   - New Jack vs. Paul Roma
   - C.W. Anderson vs. Hulk Hogan
   - Abdullah The Butcher & Bad News Brown vs. Tommy Dreamer & Bruiser Brody
VertigoPosted on 02/11/05 at 00:12:33

Week 7 Results
Ken Patera and J.T. Smith (DUD) defeated Nailz and Outback Jack when Patera defeated Nailz by disqualification in 0:23:12 (Billy Jack Haynes no-showed).... Mustafa (- 3/4) defeated Jim Powers via pinfall in 0:06:11.... Mohammed Yone (*** 1/4) pinned Gary Albright after a roundhouse kick in 0:18:16; Gary Albright suffered a back injury. He will be out for approximately 4 cards.... Paul Roma (*) pinned New Jack with the Flying Bodypress in 0:12:35.... Sid Vicious (-1/4 *) defeated Axl Rotten by disqualification in 0:21:59.... Hulk Hogan (-*) defeated C.W. Anderson by disqualification in 0:14:49.... Abdullah the Butcher and Bad News Brown (* 1/4) defeated Bruiser Brody and Tommy Dreamer when Abdullah defeated Dreamer by disqualification in 0:17:43....

My Comments
Billy Jack Haynes never made it to the arena for some reason and Ken Patera, who was supposed to have the night off, took his place. Nailz was extremely frustrated that Patera didn't submit to his Carotid Choke submission so he decided to apply an illegal choke and got himself DQ'd. All four men had to be seperated after the match. Mustafa defeats one-half of the BBW Tag Team Champions, Jim Powers, in singles competition. Yone and Albright put on a classic bout... unfortunatly, Albright injured himself and needs about a month off. Despite Yone's attitude towards the fans, he is truely impressing everyone with his in-ring ability. Roma avenged his partners loss by defeated New Jack in a singles match. Afterwards, Roma accepted the Gangstas' challenge for the BBW Tag Team Championship next week. Axl came out to the ring and called Sid Vicious out. Sid answers the challenge and one hell of a battle followed! The referee was pretty leniant throughtout the whole match, but enough was enough and he had to take some measure of order to keep these guys from killing each other... Axl was DQ'd for blantantly choking Sid. The fight didn't end there! Axl laid Sid out with a chair to the delight of the fans and then walked to the back... he emerged with the BARBED WIRE BASEBALL BAT!! As he climbed in the ring, Sid had gained his senses and laid into Axl, giving him enough time to grab the bat from him. Sid got in a solid barbed wire bat shot to Axl's back before officials and wrestlers got to the ring and broke it up! Earthquake accompanied C.W. Anderson for his match against Hogan - and as soon as he got involved, the referee called for the DQ! C.W. shit-cannoned the referee out of the ring and him and Earthquake beat down "The Hulkster." You can hear them telling Hogan that "no one wants you in the BBW" and "if you don't retire soon, we will end your career for you!" Once again, no one came to the aid of Hulk Hogan and he was left laying until the officials were able to help him to the back. In the main event, Beulah was warned multiple times by the referee to not get involved, but she had revenge on her mind from when she was hit a couple weeks ago by Bad News Brown. When she continued to involve herself in the match, the refere threw the match. Bad News was furious because he was looking for a pinfall victory over Dreamer, so he did the next best thing he could... with Abby having laid out Brody with a road sign shot and crushing Dreamer in the corner, Bad News drug Beulah into the ring by her hair and annihilated her with The Ghetto Blaster. Bad News and Abby left the ring as Dreamer crawled toward his unconscious girlfriend. As a stretcher arrived to the ring, Dreamer got on the house microphone and made this challenge. "Bad News Brown, next week, I want you inside of a Steel Cage! If that means I have to put my BBW Championship on the line, that is fine! In the Cage, you cannot run from me. I will hurt you, Bad News Brown, and next week, when the match is over, it will be YOU who will need to be stretchered out of the arena."

Week 8 Lineup

Week 8 Results
Mohammed Yone (***) pinned Bushwhacker Luke with the Muscle Buster in 16:13.... J.T. Smith, Ken Patera and Billy Jack Haynes (3/4 *) defeated Nailz, C.W. Anderson and Outback Jack when Haynes made Anderson submit to the Full Nelson in 12:29.... Rip Rogers (3/4 *)  made Bushwhacker Butch submit to a sleeperhold in 10:40.... Hulk Hogan (-*** 1/2) pinned Earthquake with the Big Leg Drop in 20:53.... The Gangstas (New Jack and Mustafa) (-1/4 *) defeated The Young Stallions (Jim Powers and Paul Roma) when Mustafa defeated Roma by disqualification in 12:08; The Young Stallions retained the BBW Tag Team Championship.... Axl Rotten (-3/4 *) pinned Sid Vicious with the Severe Skull Trauma in 13:16 in a Barbed Wire Bat Match.... Bruiser Brody and Abdullah the Butcher (* 1/2) battled to a draw in 30:00 in a Caribbean Strap Match.... Tommy Dreamer (3/4 *) pinned Bad News Brown after a swinging neckbreaker in 1:44 in a Cage Match; Tommy Dreamer retained the BBW Championship....

My Comments
First time we see Yone use the Muscle Buster in BBW. Haynes gets the win for his team by making C.W. submit. You have to believe that C.W. wants revenge on Haynes. Rip Rogers surprised everyone, including Bushwhacker Butch, with a sleeperhold and won with it. Hulk Hogan gets a matter of revenge against arch rival Earthquake. The Gangstas beat the Young Stallions but they did not win the titles. Roma's temper got the best of him as he shoved the referee down and got DQ'd. Everyone was furious! Axl Rotten wins in his specialty match, the Barbed Wire Bat Match, against the psycho Sid VIcious. Brody and Abby was extremely brutal! Both were bloody and both did not show any signs of giving up. The time limit expired and the officials were glad because these two would have killed each other. Tommy Dreamer puts the exclamation point on his fued with Bad News Brown by defeating him in a lame two minute Cage Match to retain his title. Overall: DUD

My Comments
Luke avenges his partner's loss from last week with a win over Rip Rogers. Sid Vicious hit the ring after the match and just started pummeling both Luke and Rip. J.T. Smith ran out with a referee and a new match began... and ended with a Sid Power Bomb! Good effort by J.T. Smith however. C.W. Anderson, Earthquake, Nailz, & Outback Jack came out from the back to make an announcement to everyone. They said they are now collectively known as 'The Empire' and that much sooner than later, they will control the entire BBW! C.W. continually shoved the referee throughout his match until the referee had had enough and DQ'd him. C.W. was about to give the referee a beating, but Billy Jack Haynes interjected himself and sent C.W. to the floor with a hard right hand. C.W. retreated down the aisle yelling "you're gonna pay!" to Billy Jack the whole way. Patera and Yone fought to a double countout, but that's not the real story here. After the referee counted them out and seperated them, BOBBY EATON jumped over the guardrail and started initiating an attack on Ken Patera. BOBBY EATON doesn't even work here!!!! Security guards had to restrain Eaton, handcuff him, and escort him out of the building! What is going on?! Axl Rotten earned himself a non-title match after defeating Sid Vicious last week and him and Dreamer put on the best match of the night. Sid Vicious was at ringside from the beginning of the match and at one point he cracked Axl Rotten in the back with a chair! Dreamer jumped outside of the ring at Axl's defense, but Sid wanted no part of Dreamer and he left the ringside area. Dreamer won the match, but it looks like Sid is still out for revenge against Axl Rotten from last week. The Gangstas were awarded a BBW Tag Team Championship rematch after what occured last week, but Mustafa never arrived at the building! Therefore, New Jack was forced to find a replacement, but the match would be a non-title match. New Jack & Bad News were successful over the Young Staillions. After the show, the BBW committee told New Jack that he had one week to pick a partner, either Mustafa or Bad News Brown, to face the Young Stallions one final time for the BBW Tag Team Championship. Hulk Hogan had an entire week to find two partners to team with him to face 3/4 of the newly established Empire. He never did... and the fighter that he is, he went into the match alone to face three men. Unfortunatly, he was beaten badly and to make things worse, he was pinned by Outback Jack. In the main event of the evening, Bruiser Brody & Abby were given the opportunity to tear into each other with a Kendo Stick. The match was short, but Brody got in a vicious Kendo Stick shot that took Abby out for the remainder of the match - he just couldn't recover from it. One Bombs Away and it was over... but I don't think this whole thing is COMPLETELY over and I have a bad feeling of where it might be heading.... Overall: 3/4 *

;D Even three on one, is there any excuse for being pinned by Outback Jack? Would I also be right in thinking that whomever New Jack doesn't have as his partner is going to be a might pissed off... he'll pick Bad News methinks. The new alternate partner to replace the tried and tested Mustafa, or so it would seem...

My Comments
Bobby Eaton officially signed with BBW before the show began and entered himself in the King of the Hill Battle Royal. Also, New Jack announced he would referee a match between Mustafa and Bad News Brown with the winner being his partner for the BBW Tag Team Championship match.  It was obvious New Jack was biased towards Mustafa as Mustafa won in 3 minutes and oddly enough, the crowd loved it.  The Bushwhackers upset the team of Earthquake and Nailz.  Luckily for them, they got out of there before 'Quake & Nailz could try anything.  Hulk Hogan avenged his loss from last week with a win over Outback Jack.  During the Yone/Patera match, Eaton came down the aisle and stood at ringside which kept Patera distracted nearly the entire match.  When Eaton approached the ring as if he was going to get involved, Patera turned his attention towards him.  This gave Yone the opportunity to sneak up and hit the Muscle Buster for the win.  Eaton just walked away laughing.  Abby & Brody were going at it in the Battle Royal, but Abby got the upperhand and eliminated Brody.  Patera ran into the battle royal and started attacking Eaton.  When officials finally pulled Patera out of the ring, Rip Rogers took advantage of the situation and elminated Eaton! Unbelievable!  After that, Earthquake had his way with Rip Rogers and won easily.  Billy Jack Haynes defeated C.W. Anderson, but after the match, the remaining members of The Empire (Earthquake, Nailz, Outback Jack) ran to the ring and started beating on Billy Jack.  The Bushwhackers tried to come to the aid of Billy Jack, but they were also beat down.  The Empire posed in the ring pleased with what they had done.  Sid Vicious has just secured himself a BBW Championship match after defeating Tommy Dreamer in a non-title match in brutal fashion.  Axl Rotten was at ringside to make sure nothing got out of hand, but after seeing the beating Sid gave Dreamer, he had to run in after the match to make sure nothing more happened.  He wanted to go after Sid, but he knew he had to check on Dreamer and when he turned his back, Sid was on the attack - and a POWERBOMB put Axl down, unconscious.  Sid laughed to himself as he looked around at the booing audience.  The GANGSTAS are NEW BBW Tag Team Champions!!!  The fans cheered them, too!! And they BOOED the Young Stallions!!  They must be tired of the pretty boy duo because when New Jack came down on Powers with that Diving Chair, the building nearly ERUPTED!! Overall: * 1/4

Week 11 Results
The Empire (Earthquake, Nailz and Outback Jack) (-** 3/4) defeated The Bushwhackers (Bushwhacker Luke and Bushwhacker Butch) and Billy Jack Haynes when Outback Jack pinned Luke with the Gourdbuster in 17:51.... Gary Albright (3/4 *) pinned Jim Powers after a belly-to-belly suplex in 2:34.... Paul Roma (* 3/4) pinned Mustafa with the Flying Bodypress in 10:42.... Bobby Eaton (* 1/2) pinned Rip Rogers with the Alabama Jam in 9:03.... Bruiser Brody and J.T. Smith (*) defeated Abdullah the Butcher and Bad News Brown when J.T. Smith pinned Bad News after an enzuilariato in 13:14.... C.W. Anderson (-1/4 *) defeated New Jack by countout in 6:58.... Tommy Dreamer and Axl Rotten (* 1/4) defeated Mohammed Yone and Sid Vicious when Dreamer pinned Yone after a swinging neckbreaker in 8:45....

My Comments
The Bushwhackers & Billy Jack put up a good fight, but it all came down to teamwork and in the end, The Empire were the better team.  Gary Albright returns to in-ring action tonight coming back from a back injury suffered a month ago and he defeats former BBW Tag Team Champion and former fan favorite, Jim Powers.  Paul Roma gets one up on a Gangsta, Mustafa, with the help of his partner, Jim Powers.  You can bet the Young Stallions want their BBW Tag Team Championship back from the Gangstas.  Bobby Eaton makes his singles debut with a win over Rip Rogers, the man who eliminated him in last weeks King of the Hill Battle Royal. Rip Rogers has decided not to renew his contract and after next week, he will be leaving BBW.  J.T. Smith gets the upset pinfall over Bad News Brown to win the match for himself and Bruiser Brody.  The brawling did not end there, however, as Brody & Abdullah were fighting all over the arena and Bad News Brown was giving quite a beat down to J.T. Smith after the match.  C.W. Anderson defeats New Jack by countout... because the Young Stallions came out and beat up New Jack on the outside. Roma nailed a powerslam on New Jack on the concrete and New Jack couldn't recover.  C.W. Anderson was a bit upset about it all and when the Young Stallions jumped in the ring to approach C.W., Earthquake came to C.W.'s rescue and the four men started going at it. Then Mustafa came out to check on New Jack and after helping New Jack regain himself, the Gangstas joined the fight. Officials and wrestlers came out to break up the melee.  New Jack grabbed the house microphone and said "next week, we'll be in the corner... Stallions, you two will be in the corner... Anderson and Earthquake, you two in that corner.  We're going to have ourselves a three way dance and the BBW Tag Team Championship WILL be on the line!"  In the Main Event, Dreamer scores the pinfall victory over the hot up-and-comer, Mohammed Yone.  That doesn't change things for next week, though.  Tommy Dreamer will have to go it alone against Psycho Sid Vicious with the BBW Championship hanging in the balance. This is the last time I will present my cards in this setup. I'm partial to the other method a lot of others use on this board and if I use that, it will help my storylines more and I believe it will make my circuit a lot funner to run and hopefully funner for everyone to read. That said...

Week 12 Results
Gary Albright (** 1/4) defeated Rip Rogers and Billy Jack Haynes in a Triple Threat Match when Albright pinned Rip Rogers after a tiger suplex in 18:37.... J.T. Smith (1/4 *) pinned Bad News Brown with the Moonsault in 7:15.... The Empire (Nailz and Outback Jack) (-** 1/2) defeated The Bushwhackers (Bushwhacker Luke and Bushwhacker Butch) when Nailz defeated Butch when Butch passed out in the Carotid Choke in 17:45.... Mohammed Yone (*** 3/4) pinned Axl Rotten with the Muscle Buster in 7:27.... The Young Stallions (Jim Powers and Paul Roma) (- 1/4 *) defeated The Empire (C.W. Anderson and Earthquake) and The Gangstas (New Jack and Mustafa) in a Triangle Match for the BBW Tag Team Championship; Roma beat Earthquake via a sleeperhold in 8:04; Powers beat New Jack via the Powerslam in 11:27; The Young Stallions won the BBW Tag Team Championship.... Ken Patera (** 3/4) made Bobby Eaton submit to the Full Nelson in 10:55 in a Falls Count Anywhere Match.... Sid Vicious (*) pinned Tommy Dreamer after a choke slam in 6:12 in a BBW Championship match; Sid Vicious won the BBW Championship.... Bruiser Brody (* 1/4) pinned Abdullah the Butcher with the Bombs Away in 5:55 in a No Rope, Barbed Wire, Steel Cage Match....

My Comments
This was Rip Rogers' final match in BBW and fittingly enough he gets pinned. Gary Albright wins the opener of what was sure to be a great card. J.T. Smith comes up big with a victory over Bad News Brown. Bad News seems to be slipping in the BBW. He goes from wrestling Tommy Dreamer from the BBW Championship to losing a chance to win the BBW Tag Team Championship with New Jack to now losing to J.T. Smith. Granted, J.T. is a rising star, but Bad News should have won this match. Nailz & Outback Jack get one for The Empire with a victory over The Bushwhackers. Following the evening card, the Bushwhackers made a stop into the BBW committee's office. Apparently they feel like they can't cut it in the BBW and have put in their one week notice. Looks like Week 13 will be the final week for the Bushwhackers in BBW. Yone and Rotten put on the match of the night, but who would have had any doubt about that one? Yone has time and time again put up stellar matches and Axl, when put up against someone like Yone, will put in an extraordinary amount of effort to winning the match. Unfortuanly for BBW fans, the Young Stallions have stepped up and won BACK the BBW Tag Team Championship from the Gangstas. They did it decisively by eliminating both teams. Ken Patera gets revenge on Bobby Eaton by making him submit. The story doesn't end there, though. Hulk Hogan came out and appeared to want to celebrate with Patera, but after raising Patera's hand in victory he turned and clotheslined Patera!! Hogan starts putting the boots to Patera as Eaton joins in on it. Gary Albright ran to the rescue of Patera of managed to get both Eaton and Hogan off of him. After a few choice words for Albright, Hogan and Eaton returned to the locker room laughing the whole way. Sid Vicious is your NEW BBW Champion after an impressive win over Tommy Dreamer. Tommy fought as hard as he could, but he was no match for the power of Sid. Following the match, Sid conducted an interview saying that he is, indeed, the Master and the Ruler of the World and that no man in BBW can even compare to him. As he walked back to his locker room, he was stopped dead in his tracks, face-to-face with one of the toughest men in professional wrestling - Bruiser Brody. After a brief staredown, both continued past each other. Sid headed towards his dressing room and Brody headed into a No Rope, Barbed Wire, Cage Match against his biggest nemesis, Abdullah the Butcher. It wasn't a long match, but within 2 minutes, both were busted wide open. In the end, Abdullah the Butcher shoved referee Sam Watson, who shoved Abby back so hard that Abby went down and Brody had just enough time to land Bombs Away and win it! It was a very controversial finish and Sam Watson paid for what he did. Abby got to his feet and threw Brody hard into the barbed wire. He then set his sights on referee Sam Watson, who was looking for a way out of the cage, but didn't make it. Abby presumed to rip the shirt off Watson's back, throw him into the Barbed Wire and Cage, and repeatedly stab him in the head with the fork before Bruiser Brody interjected himself. The Cage door was finally unlocked and but many officials were afraid to jump into the ring with all the Barbed Wire around. A near riot broke out in the arena tonight, folks, and everyone loved it! Overall: *1/4

Preview for Week 13
We'll have an interview with Hulk Hogan to find out what the hell is going on with him and Eaton? A big debut match for RICK MARTEL as he takes on an Empire member, Outback Jack! J.T. Smith tries his luck against a much larger man, another Empire member, Nailz! Also, The Gangstas will go one-on-one with C.W. Anderson and Earthquake, also representing the Empire, in a number-one-contendors match! The Bushwhackers final match in BBW as they will be taking on a tag team to be named later. Bad News Brown and Gary Albright scheduled to do battle and in our HUGE main event it's SIX-MAN-TAG TEAM action! Newly crowned BBW Champion, Sid Vicious teams up with Mohammed Yone & Abdullah the Butcher to take on the team of Axl Rotten, Tommy Dreamer, and Bruiser Brody!

Big Battle Wrestling - Week 13

(The show begins and not more than 5 seconds after the opening announcements are heard, the Young Stallions make their way to the ring with their newly won BBW Tag Team Championship around their waists. They climb into the ring with big smiles on their faces, but the faces in the crowd aren't smiling. The fans are booing and cursing at them. Paul Roma grabs the microphone from ring announcer 'Slick' Rick.)

Paul Roma: Each and everyone of you can shut your mouths! You're looking at the best tag team that has ever and WILL ever enter a BBW ring. (the fans continue their booing, and the Young Stallions continue their smiling) Last week, we proved that the Gangsters were nothing more than a fluke. We are the real champions around here and the belts around our waists prove it. Tell 'em Jimmy!!

Jim Powers: Just like we said we were going to do, New Jack and Mustafa went down and they took that loser duo of C.W. Anderson and Earthquake with them. It was nothing more than a brush off our shoulders. In the meantime, while the Gangsters and Anderson & Earthquake are busy trying to win the #1 contendors spot tonight, we'll be sitting back with the evening off.

(Just then Billy Jack Haynes makes his way out from the lockerroom. The fans erupt at the site of him. He climbs into the ring. The Young Stallions look at him like he's nobody. He grabs the microphone from Powers who flinches when he does so.)

Billy Jack Haynes: Listen here you loud mouth punks! (the fans cheer) Being a champion doesn't mean showing up to the arena expecting the night off! The reason these people boo you and the reason a majority of that roster in the back can't stand your presence is because you're a couple of COWARDS! (the Young Stallions look shocked, the fans are cheering wildly) You want to prove that you two are legit? I've got a partner and a referee on standy-by and if you two want to show everyone you're not cowards, then you defend those titles against us RIGHT NOW!!

(Billy Jack waves towards the back and out comes MIKE BARTON of former WWF and Japan fame! The fans explode with excitement when they see him! He's followed by referee Luke Graham! Barton slides in the ring and the fight is on!!)

Rating: * 1/4
(The Young Stallions retained the BBW Tag Team Championship)

Both teams looked impressive in this match, but the Young Stallions were the better team... more double team moves or more quick tags. The Young Stallions were in and out and pacing themselves while Barton and Haynes were staying in the ring too long and not tagging one another enough. There were some close calls, especially after Haynes made three close near falls on Roma after a series of suplexes. When it was all said and done, the Young Stallions were still the champions, but Barton and Haynes recieved a warm reception from the fans. Welcome to the BBW Mike Barton.

The winner is Outback Jack. Time of match: 0:12:02

Outback Jack made Rick Martel submit to a clawhold in 0:12:02.
Rating: **

Outback Jack had to cheat quite a bit to pull this victory off. He used everything from attacking Martel before the bell, chokeholds, raking the eyes, and more to wear Martel down... referee Luke Graham was really put to work in this one. Many consider this an upset, but with Outback Jack lately, maybe it wasn't. Maybe Outback Jack is improving by leaps and bounds and should be taken more seriously. He got on the microphone afterwards:

Outback Jack: Rick Martel! Let this be a lesson to you and ANY other newcomer that wants to come into BBW! The Empire runs this place and we will not tolerate anything! You give that message to Mike Barton and anyone else who wants to try their luck in BBW. The Empire is in charge here!

The winner is J.T. Smith. Time of match: 0:08:41

J.T. Smith pinned Nailz with the Moonsault in 0:08:41.
Rating: -** 3/4

A hard fought victory for J.T. Smith. In the beginning, J.T. just couldn't get Nailz off his feet and Nailz was just brutalizing J.T. with punches, chops, and gutwrench suplexes. Near the end, they both spilled to the outside of the ring but continued the fight. Finally, J.T. Smith found a solution to take the big man down... a fire extinguisher! After a couple fire extinguisher shots and immobalizing Nailz with a kneelock, he executed his Moonsault for the win. When Nailz got to his feet he tried to get at J.T. who was too quick and managed to escape before Nailz could get some sort of revenge.

4. Number-One-Contendors for the BBW Tag Team Championship Match

The winners are The Empire. Time of match: 0:00:21

The Empire (C.W. Anderson and Earthquake) defeated The Gangstas (New Jack and Mustafa) when Anderson pinned Mustafa after
a spinebuster slam in 0:00:21.
Rating: 1/2*

What a ridiculous match! C.W. and Earthquake came to the ring first and awaited The Gangstas. As the Gangstas were on their way to the ring, the rest of the Empire, Nailz & Outback Jack, attacked New Jack from behind. Mustafa, who had no idea his partner was just taken out behind him and slid into the ring. He then noticed what was going on and turned his back on his opponents. C.W. capitalized and put Mustafa away in 21 seconds! The Empire continued the beating on the Gangstas. Rick Martel and J.T. Smith came out to even up the odds, but were also punished for interfering with The Empire. Following the assault, the Empire were greeted in the back by the BBW committee team who told them that their victory tonight was only so due to outside interference and that a rematch will take place in 2 weeks between the Gangstas and C.W. & Earthquake to determine the Number-One-Contendors! Next week, it will be an 8-Man-Tag Team match... the Empire against the Gangstas, J.T. Smith, and Rick Martel!

After the mess from the last match was cleaned up, Hulk Hogan and Bobby Eaton made their to the ring. As oppossed to the chorus of cheers Hogan usually recieves from the fans, he was showered with boos and insults. None of which seemed to get under his skin because he just continued smiling with Bobby Eaton as they climbed into the ring.

Hulk Hogan: Listen to this, Bobby? Can you believe it, brother? It's only been one week and not a single 'Hulkamaniac' left in the building! Haha, what does it matter? These people make me sick and they always have!! I don't need you people! Back when I thought your support helped me, look where I was? I was wrestling lower card matches and losing to guys like Outback Jack. When I looked for support in the lockerroom, the only support I could get was from my jock strap!! Ken Patera brought me in and I thought he was my friend. I thought we would be side by side here in BBW... we would be like brothers. But just like he did to Bobby Eaton, he used me! And while he was moving up in the rankings thanks to my help, he would time and time again ditch me to fend for myself. That's not going to happen anymore, is it Bobby?

Bobby Eaton: Hulkster, me and you are brothers, man. You can count on me. We'll take over this rinky-dink promotion so fast that the people in this arena and the wrestlers in the back won't have any idea what hit them. Ken Patera... who do you think let me in the building a month ago when I wasn't under contract with BBW? Hulk Hogan! You're lucky you weren't booked on this show tonight because if you were, you would be leaving this arena and heading straight for the hospital.

Hulk Hogan: And who is this Gary Albright character? Hell, he took a month off to nurse an arm injury that any other MAN would have dealt with and continued wrestling week after week. You want to stick your nose in our business, brother? Let me tell you this... we won't forget about it. You'll get what is coming to you, Albright, and you can count on that!

Bobby Eaton: Hey Hulkster. You hear The Bushwhackers are planning on making a farewell speech tonight right after we leave this ring? Here's an idea, Bushwhackers. How about this... you come out here and MAKE us leave the ring and you can have your little farewell speech. Otherwise, just take your bags and head right out that back door because no one wants to hear anything from a couple of losers like you.

The Bushwhackers, Luke and Butch, hit the ring and the fight is on....

Rating: -***

It's painful to see a team's last match somewhere be a loss, and even more painful when it's a terrible match. Simply put, the Bushwhackers tried their best, but with the momentum Hogan and Eaton are building up, a lackluster team like the Bushwhackers couldn't be seen to even have a chance. They came close to winning on a few occassions, but time and time again they were denied victory. We saw a new vicious side from Hogan as at one point in the match, Hogan was not pleased about a call from rookie official Rusty Myers and threw him into the ringpost. However, Rusty is a tough and leniant referee, plus the fact that he was probably trying to avoid further injury, he did NOT DQ Hogan. The fans gave the Bushwhackers a standing ovation, but they needed some assistance getting back to the dressing room and that is the last time we'll see the Bushwhackers in BBW.

Hulk Hogan wasn't lying when he said he was going to make Gary Albright pay for getting involved with him and Eaton last week. Eaton and Hogan were at ringside from the very beginning of the match. Albright just could not concentrate with the odds stacked so highly against him. When Hogan saw his opportunity, he knocked Albright out with a DDT on the concrete. Albright could not answer the 10 count and Bad News Brown was awarded the victory by way of a countout.

Rating: 3/4*

There were a lot things people wanted to see in tonights match. They wanted to see former BBW Champion Tommy Dreamer get revenge on the man who took his championship, Sid Vicious. They wanted to see Abby and Brody brutalize each other some more. They wanted to see Axl Rotten and Mohammed Yone display technique like they have in previous stellar singles matches. They saw all of that. But what they wanted to see most was how Bruiser Brody and Sid Vicious size up to one another. It never came to fruition as neither man was ever in the ring at the same time. The match came at you from all sides because you have a numerous amount of hardcore brawlers, you have powerhouses, and you have a technically gifted wrestler all in the same match. When it was all said and done, Yone picks up another pinfall defeat over Axl Rotten. It will be interesting to see how these six wrestlers sort out their differences over the next few weeks.

Match of the Night: Outback Jack vs. Rick Martel

VertigoPosted on 02/16/05 at 08:34:29

Big Battle Wrestling - Week 14

(Ring announcer 'Slick' Rick is in the ring introducing everyone to the show.)

Slick Rick: How is everybody doing tonight!? We have 6 big matches tonight for you! Tonight, we have ourselves a HUGE 8-Man-Tag Team match as the 4 members of The Empire take on the unlikely foursome of Rick Martel, J.T. Smith, and the Gangstas! What a match that will be. Also, Hulk Hogan takes on Gary Albright! And of course, let's not forget our main event....

('Slick' Rick is interupted by a ruckus coming from the back of the building. Bruiser Brody comes charging out of the dressing room wielding a chair and he looks angry as hell. He launches the chair in a rage and nearly injures from fans. He climbs into the ring and 'Slick' Rick drops the microphone and scurries to the safety of ringside. Brody grabs the microphone...)

Bruiser Brody: Sid Vicious, you son of a bitch, I know you're going to hear this! Wherever you are hiding, I will find you! Last week, you hid in the corner while Abby and Mohammed did all the work! And this week when you're supposed to face me, you back out! You can't hide from me forever, Sid! You cannot keep me from that BBW Championship! One day I will defeat you for that BBW Championship and the beating I give you on that day will surpass the beatings that I gave Abby! People will not be able to recognize you when I'm through with you!

{Abdullah the Butcher climbs over a guardrail at ringside with his Kendo Stick in hand. Brody notices him, drops the microphone, and meets him on the ring apron with punches. Abby fight back and climbs into the ring. Brody manages to take the Kendo Stick from Abby and throws it to the mat. The two are standing, toe-to-toe, fists flying! Axl Rotten comes out to try to pull Brody off of Abby. Mohammed Yone slides into the ring behind Axl Rotten and clubs him from behind. Now Axl and Yone are going at it! Referee Luke Graham comes down to the ring and calls for the bell... apparently, we've got an impromptu TAG TEAM MATCH!!)

[Sid Vicious interfered against Bruiser Brody.]

Well, referee Luke Graham makes this a tag team match, but it didn't last very long. It was wild from the get go and he had so much trouble getting it under control. In fact, it was never really under control. Sid Vicious, who everyone believed was not even in the arena, came running to the ring and pulled Brody out of the ring. Luckily for Brody, he landed on his feet and immediatly started firing hard punches at Sid. This was the last straw for referee Luke Graham as he once again lost control, but this time he wasn't getting it back. He called for the disqualification and the fans were extremely pissed about the call. As Brody and Sid battled up the aisle, Rotten was defending himself against both Abby and Yone and managed to fight his way out of the ring before the two could double team him. What an intense way to start the show!

Both wrestlers were looking to redeem themselves after losing last week. Bad News Brown had the same gameplan as always which was to beat up his opponent as if he were on the streets. Unfortunatly for him, Barton is one tough guy and is quite good at brawling. Barton jarred Bad News with a back suplex for a two count, and followed it up with a high impact Russian legsweep for the win.

Rating: *** 1/4

Once again, Ken Patera has proven himself. His Full Nelson is a deadly finisher and tonight he uses it to pick up a win over former BBW Champion, Tommy Dreamer!

(However, his celebration was cut short as Hulk Hogan and Bobby Eaton made their way to ringside. Eaton grabbed the microphone...)

Bobby Eaton: Ken, let Hulk and myself be the first to congratulate you. You've just got yourself a win over a former BBW Champion. The key word there is FORMER... Tommy Dreamer was a piss-poor champion and anyone could have beaten him.

(Tommy lunges over the ropes towards Eaton, but Patera pulls him back. Dreamer is still nursing his neck from the Full Nelson and any kind of additional confrontation could lead to further injury. Patera knows this, so he tried to keep the peace.)

Bobby Eaton: Granted, you did beat him in under four minutes and to some people, that might look impressive. Hell, the BBW committee might find that impressive. The Hulkster and I, however, are not impressed!

Hulk Hogan: That's right, brother! You come out here, the olympian that you are, and you pretend to be somebody. Well let me tell you something, brother! You may be in the peak of your career, but brother, you'll never be any bigger than this small time promotion. I've been to the top, brother. I've made more money than you or any peon in this building could even dream of! I'm not only a household name around the world, but women adore me, monuments are built in my name, and millions and millions of children across the world want to grow to be just like me. Patera... you'll never be a household name, you'll never have the fame, the fortune, or the women, and I feel sorry for any kid that wants to grow up to be just like you. To grow up to be such a failure...

(Now Patera is hot and he jumps outside of the ring and rushes at Eaton and Hogan. Eaton and Hogan start clubbing him in the back and it's obvious that Patera will have no chance at a two-on-one. Dreamer tries to come to his rescue, but is being held back by referee Boomer. The other officials come out and pull Patera away. Patera manages to wrestle the microphone away from Hogan.)

Ken Patera: Hogan!! Eaton!! Next week!! If you both have a problem, bring it!! Tag team match!! Dreamer?! Are you in?!

(Tommy Dreamer nods his head in agreement. Hogan and Eaton walk backwards down the aisle, shouting and pointing at Patera and Dreamer. Next week, we'll have ourselves one hell of a tag team match.)

Rating: 1/4*
(Nailz no-showed.)

Unfortunatly for the Empire, Nailz was no where to be found tonight. When faced with the decision to choose another partner or forfeit the match, C.W. Anderson was extremely angered. Not so much that he needed to find a new partner, but the fact that Nailz just left the Empire high and dry. This took C.W. and the Empire out of their gameplan for the match. It also gave us a glimpse at who the head figure of the Empire is as no one had been able to figure out who indeed led this stable. Bad News Brown volunteered himself as a replacement and the Empire accepted him. The fans were really behind New Jack and Mustafa as they wanted to see them destroy the Empire. They were also appreciative of J.T. Smith's efforts and are also starting to warm up to BBW newcomer, Rick Martel. In the end, Martel locked a sleeperhold on C.W. Anderson. Anderson was calling out for his partner to help him, but they were all blown up and beat up in the corner. Anderson had to submit or he would have passed out. When the winners left the ring, Earthquake and Outback Jack went to help C.W. to his feet, but C.W. refused their help. When he gathered his wits, he just walked out of the ring without even acknowledging his teammates. There is definatly some turmoil in the Empire camp.

You can see the worry in everyone's face. After finally getting him out of the ring and stretchering him to an awaiting ambulance, the fans turn their attention to Jim Powers, who still looks shocked at what happened. He makes his way to the locker room with his hands on his hips. Some of the fans are overheard blaming Jim Powers for what happened, while others realize the risk involved and place the blame on no one.

[Bobby Eaton interfered against Gary Albright.]
[Ken Patera interfered against Hulk Hogan.]

This match went much further than we ever thought it would. From the beginning, these two put a beating on each other. They spilled outside the ring in first two minutes where Hogan was busted open. Bobby Eaton came down to the ring and interjected himself whenever he could. He pulled the top rope down on Gary Albright forcing him to spill out of the backwards to the concrete, he tossed a ring bell to Hogan who promptly used it for a near fall, and even tried to toss Hogan brass knuckles. Albright intercepted those, however, and nearly won after a vicious shot with the knuckles. Patera came down to even up the odds, though, and he nailed Hogan with a chair as Hogan ran to the ropes. This gave Albright the opportunity to hit his Dragon Suplex for the second time in the match, this time scoring the victory. Eaton quickly rushed over to Patera and the two started brawling on the outside. Officials ran to seperate the two. Eaton then slid in the ring to check on his fallen comrade while Albright and Patera celebrated Albright's victory on the floor. The crowd was loving it!
