Okay, so we know the results now... what exactly happened in the matches now?  Any angles, any storyline development?
SuperstarJimiCPosted on 02/15/05 at 00:54:39

I'm still learning on how to do angles. I'm not good with storylines. I'm like the old school wrestling from the early-80's. I'm still learning. I remember one match between Tommy Dreamer & Samoa Joe. Joe kept hitting Dreamer with Chairshot after Chairshot, & 3 Island Drivers during the match, & after the three count, Dreamer kept on getting back up. Dreamer may have lost the match, but Dreamer was like "The Energizer Bunny" he kept going & going & going. Is that courageous or what?
Snabbit888Posted on 02/15/05 at 01:15:21

Even mentioning something like that in your writeups is helpful.  When doing a TNM circuit, we don't get the benefit of actually watching the match.  All we see is "Wrestler A beat Wrestler B."  We need more.  Dreamer fighting back from all that builds him as a tough guy.  But we don't know that from "Samoa Joe pinned Tommy Dreamer."

I agree with Snabbit, you've gotta give us something more than just results, even if it isn't the full write ups that some people give, a couple of lines about each of the matches helps build up your talent in the eyes of your potential fans.

Also how familar are you with Japanese wrestling/wrestlers? I was suprised to see Kobashi in a light tubes match. Although it's not a big deal, without any explaination it kinda takes you out of the flow when guys who don't really do deathmatches are thrown into them with no reasons...
