APCW Blood Sweat and Steel - March 2, 2005

Welcome to Blood Sweat and Steel.We are here in the APCW arena for our inagural Pay-Per-View.Tonight all our fine superstars, as well as Tough Tom are in action tonight.we have some pre-recorded comments from the competitors in our opening contest lets go to them now.

Tough Tom: "I am probably the biggest underdog on the APCW roster.Jay Freeman has made it clear to me on more then one occassion that he doesn't want me here! Well I am deal with it.But, I will make the ultimatium even sweeter.Blood Sweat and Steel is coming up, the biggest night in the short history of APCW and I will be wrestling in a Caribbean Strap Match against the new kid on the block, the protege of Modest and Morgan.I am wrestling Grim Reefer. Well let me say this if I don't win I will quit right on the spot because I am sick and tired of all this crap!"

   Grim Reefer: "First of all I want to thank Mr. Modest and Mr. Morgan for allowing me into the elite group that is Excellence INC.Now about my match, I may not live on the Caribbean but I think I will not have any problem at all considering its Tough Tom of all people.I will use this match to prove why I am in Excellence INC."

Blood Sweat and Steel Caribbean Strap Match:Tough Tom vs Grim Reefer

Well incase you haven't figured out yet this match is a Carribbean Strap Match.Hopefully Tough Tom will lose, and just to make sure I have backup.The other 2 members of Excellence INC come out as the match gets underway.Reefer tries to go for the first turnbuckle immediately and gets to turnbuckle one but Tom stops him and hits a turnbuckle himself.Grim Reefer is in firm control in the early stages.Tough Tom gains control through the middle of the match when Morgan tries to throw a steel chain in the ring but Tough Tom catches it and uses it on Reefer.Tom goes for a choke hold but Reef blocks it and throws Tom outside.

Reefer goes for a running somersault plancha,Tom moves.Reefer is knocked out,Tom takes adavantage and throws Reefer back in.Tough Tom hits a running powerslam.Tom hits a piledriver.Tough Tom hits 3 turnbuckles before hitting a hotshot.Tom throws Reefer outside the ring.Facerake by Tom.Tom is choking Grim Reefer with the strap.The match has gone to a time limit draw.

This match has gone to a 20 minute time limit draw.

"Well this match went to a 20 minute time limit draw.Now while this match wasn't great, I give it -1/2*.Next month is our 3 night Defining Excellence pay per view, where our stars as well as outside talent, will get to show why they define excellence.There will be both an 8 man singles as well as an 8 man tag tournament.In the singles tournament there will be 4 APCW wrestlers along with 4 fresh new talent, and in the tag tournament there will be 4 APCW teams along with 4 fresh new teams.The winners of the respective tournaments will team up at our April Pay Per View Out of Bounds against Excellence INC!Also this is a message to all our APCW roster as well as to all you APCW fans.There are some of the wrestlers who obviously aren't performing well.So starting next week, I will look at your in ring performance more closely.Every 2 weeks I will look at how well you performed on the last 2 shows and if you don't have atleast 1 match that I deem above ** then you will be fired.Also, starting tonight, if at the end of each month if you don't have a winning record over your whole APCW career, you will be fired!I don't want the APCW to be brought down and I will only accept your best.Oh and Tom, you said you wanted to "quit APCW", well congratulations you are my first casualty don't let the door hit your ass on the way out and no I won't send you the money for tonight.Buh bye!"

"Now next up we have the Spin the Wheel Make the Deal Match.Bring on out the wheel boys.Ok I have decided that Christopher Daniels will spin the wheel, come on out chris.The wheel has;Mexican Death Match,Iron Man Match,Casket Match,Barbed Wire Match,Coal Miners Glove Match,First Blood Match,Falls Count Anywhere Match,Cage Match and a Hell in A Cell Match, in that order.The wheel is spinning past First Blood, past Falls Count Anywhere, past Cage Match, past Hell in A Cell and it lands on.... Mexican Death Match!"

Blood Sweat and Steel Mexican Death Match:Christopher Daniels vs Steve Regal

So, the wheel lands on Mexican Death Match.They are starting the match in the back of the arena by the wheel.Inverted Russian Legsweep by Daniels.Daniels goes for a spin kick; Regal reverses it with a legsweep.Armdrag takedown by Regal,Regal scores with a German Suplex.Piledriver by Regal.Daniels wisely rolls back into the ring, Regal makes the mistake of rolling in.Daniels gains the advantage with a spinebuster followed by a powerbomb.

Regal goes for an armdrag takedown, Daniels reverses it into a backslide.Regal kicks out at the count of 2.Bodyslam by Daniels,Daniels goes for a double underhook piledriver but Regal counters it with a backdrop.Cobra Clutch by Regal, Daniels gets to the ropes in 16 seconds.Regal puts on a sleeper hold, Daniels gets to the ropes again.Monkeyflip by Regal.Piledriver by Regal.Regal goes for a fisherman suplex, Daniels reverses it into a small package for a 2 count.Flatliner by Daniels, who goes for a powerslam, but Regal counters with a sunset flip for a 1 count.

Enzuiguri by Daniels, Ted Randol is inadvertedly knocked down.The wrestlers go to the outside.Daniels whips regal into the guardrail, spinebuster connects and Regal goes down.Daniels with a vertical facebuster on the concrete.Daniels goes for the flatliner, but Regal reverses it and Regal takes control of the match.Regal goes for a kneebreaker, but Daniels counters it.Ted Randol is still down; so there is no ref to count when Daniels hits a powerslam for the pin.Daniels goes for an armdrag takedown, but Regal counters with a backslide.Ted Randol shakes off the pain, but only gets a 1 count.Regal and Daniels connect with a double clothesline.Regal gets up first and locks on the Regal Stretch.

Daniels submits, but gets back up after the count of 2 so the match continues.Double underhook suplex by Regal.Figure 4 by Regal.Daniels tries for a bodyslam, but Regal counters with an elbowsmash.Regal connects with a sunset flip.Regal gets the pinfall, and the count begins. 1,2,3,4 Daniels is still out,5,6,7,8,Daniels is starting to stir,9,10.Daniels gets up but its after the 10 count! Regal wins!

The winner of the match Steve Regal.

"You 2 put on a hell of a match, a *** match.I can see it now, next week Steve Regal vs Christopher Daniels in a 1 on 1 match."

Next up we have the monsterous Big Dick Dudley taking on Homicide in a Dog Collar Table Match.

Blood Sweat and Steel Dog Collar Table Match:Big Dick Dudley vs Homicide

The weight advantage obviously goes to Dudley.Homicide has the advantage early on using his quickness and street smarts to use the dog collar.Homicide just went for a roundhouse right but Big Dick blocked it and connected with some punches of his own.Both of these men are brawling machines.They have been using the Dog Collar as a weapon throughout the match.Homicide got thrown out of the ring by Big Dick.They are brawling on the floor.Big Dick hit Homicide with a frying pan.

Homicide blocked a side suplex attempt.Big Dick moves out of the way of a kick to the head.Homicide hits Big Dick with a DDT.Homicide tries to do the Cop Killa but Big Dick is too heavy.Big Dick sets up a table.Homicide is set up on the table.Big Dick tries to powerbomb Homicide through the table but its blocked.

Total Penetration by Big Dick Dudley.Roundhouse right by Big Dick.Big Dick puts Homicide on the table.Big Dick goes up to the top rope and nails a legdrop through the table.Big Dick Dudley wins.

The winner of the match Big Dick Dudley.

What a masscre you 2.I am giving the match a *** rating".

Next up is the Texas Death match for the tag team titles.Excellence INC is taking on DOA.

Blood Sweat and Steel Texas Death Match for the APCW Tag Titles: DOA vs Excellence INC (c)

This looks to be a brawl if DOA have anything to say.However Skull submits quickly to an abdominal stretch however he gets up before the 10 count.Morgan goes for the quick win with numerous pinfall attempts, but Skull kicks out after 2 for each time.Skull tags in 8-ball.They whip Morgan into the ropes double fist to the midsection.

8-Ball is in control of Donovan Morgan after hitting a flying lariat.Morgan tags out to Modest.They connect with a double flying elbow drop.Modest went for a flying cross body press but 8-Ball caught him and dealt out a viscious powerslam.Modest hits a pair of powerbombs on 8-Ball.8-Ball hits a short lariat on Modest before tagging out to Skull.

Skull takes control of Modest with a kneelift, and a fallaway slam, followed by a belly to belly and a knee breaker.Modest chops Skull and tags out to Donovan Morgan.Skull hits a neck snap on Donovan Morgan.Skull tags out to 8-ball who tries to piledrive Morgan.Morgan counters with a slingshot into the turnbuckle.

Side suplex by Morgan.8-Ball throws Morgan outside the ring.8-Ball throws Donovan Morgan into the ring.Skull comes in and DOA hits a double ddt on Morgan but he gets up after the pinfall at the 7 count.Skull uses a double-axehandle chop on Morgan.Morgan hits a backsuplex onto a chair.Skull gets up at the count of 9.Modest comes in and they hit Skull with a 3D and pickup the win.

The winners and still APCW World Tag Team Champions Excellence INC.

"What an impressive match you 2 teams.I rate the match *** 1/4.The fans of APCW couldn't vote like normal people.So I have chosen the 3 matches for the AJ Styles-Fuerza Guerrera series myself.The first match is a barbed wire match."

Blood Sweat and Steel Fall 1 Barbed Wire Match:AJ Styles vs Fuerza Guerrera

 These 2 have had a phenomenal series of matches in the inagural month of APCW.Guerrera is the aggresor early on.AJ Styles really isn't able to get on track in the barbed wire environment.Styles gains advantage after catching Guerrera in a small package.However Guerrera is able to gain control back quickly.The match goes to the outside.Styles gets busted open on the barbed wire.Guerrera goes for a powerbomb but only gets 2.

Styles gains advantage with a vertical facebuster.Styles connects with a rana but Guerrera kicks out after a 2 count.Styles hits his splash mountain but only gets a 2 count.Styles hits the Styles Clash and gets the first fall victory.

The winner of the first fall AJ Styles.

"What an impressive first fall I give it ****.Your next match will be inside the cage".

Blood Sweat and Steel Fall 2 Cage Match:AJ Styles vs Fuerza Guerrera

Both wrestlers are beaten up from the first fall.Both wrestlers are giving their all in the 2nd fall.Styles wants to end the match right now.However Guerrera kicked out of the Styles Clash.Guerrera gets the win with a Flying Senton so the match goes to the deciding fall.

The winner of the second fall Fuerza Guerrera

"What a second fall, however I can only give it a *** 1/4.The final fall is an Iron Man Match!"

Blood Sweat and Steel Fall 3 Iron Man Match:AJ Styles vs Fuerza Guerrera

These 2 have been through so much so far tonight.How can their bodies last through an Iron Man Match?Both are going for the quick pinfalls because of how tired they are.However neither can get the 3 count.Vertical facebuster by Styles gets 2.A Styles Clash gets 2.Styles throws Randol out of the ring.Flying senton by Guerrera only gets 1.How can Styles get up with all the blood he has lost?Guerrera kicks out of another Styles Clash.Styles throws Randol out of the ring again.Splash Mountain by Styles almost gets a 3 count but Guerrera kicks out at the last second.Tigerdriver by Guerrera.

They go to the outside.Clothesline by Styles who then rolls back into the ring.Another flying senton by Guerrera gets 2.Guerrera hits a flying elbow drop.Styles springs to his feet and hits a Styles Clash.Neither man has gotten a pinfall yet at the 15 minute mark.Styles throws Guerrera out of the ring.They brawl on the floor but both men get in the ring well before they are counted out.Spinal tap by Styles gets 2.This match ends in a 20 minute time limit draw.

The 3rd fall and the match ends in a draw.

"What a fall you 2, however it ended in a draw and therefore the match is a draw.The rating for the fall is a **** 1/4.I will have a decision next week about what is next for you 2 in this fued because obviously a winner hasn't been decided yet.Next is the cage match for the APCW WOrld title,C.W. Anderson's career and no title shot for 3 months for Joe".

Blood Sweat and Steel APCW World Title Steel Cage Match 2/3 Falls:Samoa Joe vs C.W. Anderson

Samoa Joe gets the first fall quickly suprising C.W. with an Aztec Suplex a minute in.C.W. starts the 2nd fall with a sidewalk slam.C.W. goes for a clothesline but Joe hits a Gorilla Press.C.W. and Joe go back and forth for the whole 2nd fall.Joe throws Anderson into the ropes, Joe hits a short arm scissors.C.W. Anderson hits the Anderson Spinebuster out of nowhere.C.W. rakes Joes face across the cage, Samoa Joe is busted open.Joe tries to exit the cage but C.W. Anderson pulls him back in.

Joe hits the Island Driver but Anderson kicks out.Anderson connects with an Anderson spinebuster and picks up the fall.Joe starts the 3rd fall with a rana.C.W. gets another Anderson spinebuster and picks up the win and the APCW world title.

The winner of the match 2 falls to 1 and the first APCW World Champion C.W. Anderson.

"What a cage match you 2 put on.The first fall was a bit on the short side and so was the last one but the match still got a *** 3/4.The match of the night goes to AJ Styles vs Fuerza Guerrera.Hope you all enjoyed the inagural APCW pay per view.See you next week."

Decent little show.  The format is hard to read (and as you know, I'm a grammar/spelling Nazi, so I have my issues there).  Strap match going to a time limit draw doesn't tickle my pickle.  I'm not a big fan of the "get a match over ** or you're fired!" gimmick either.  Just makes Freeman out to be a prick, and your circuit is going to become too workrate heavy, and then who is going to care if someone gets **** 1/2 if everyone can do it?  CW Anderson is the champ... we'll see what you do with that.
