SCHOOL OF HARD KNOX IS COMING!

Shaun SindelmanPosted on 02/12/05 at 07:32:23

I've decided to try out Critic of the Dawn's rule set and create a new circuit.

This one is called SCHOOL OF HARD KNOX WRESTLING, or HARD KNOX for short.

Basically it's a NY based indy promotion that runs out of a nightclub in Jamaica, Queens called the Amazura Ballroom on a monthly basis.

HARD KNOX has two titles - a singles title dubbed HEAD OF THE CLASS and tag titles dubbed HEAVY HITTERS.

There are very few rules in HARD KNOX. All matches are NO DQ, NO COUNTOUT and hardcore activity is encouraged.

Someone NO SHOWS and they are FIRED on the spot. If a champion NO SHOWS, he too is fired and his title will be immediately put up for grabs amongst the top 4 challengers in a 4 way elimination match.

If someone gets injured, they MAY or MAY NOT be released, depending on the serverity of the injury in question.

Tryouts were held over the last several days and a finalized roster has been announced.

Signed to a 6 month contract:
Former XPW tag champion - Josh Prohibition
From WILD - Despair & SpikyJim (The Suicide Kings)
WWE's own Rhyno
From NWA:TNA - Chris Sabin
Former XPW superstar - Chris Hamrick
Former NWA:TNA tag champs - James Storm & Chris Harris (America's Most Wanted)
Former RPW tag champions - Lance Williams & James Robinson (Real Xtreme)
Buff-E & Mase (The Christopher St. Connection)
Chuck Palumbo & Johnny Stamboli (The FBI)
From NOAH in Japan - Mohammed Yone
Ring of Honor's BJ Whitmer
Johnny Ace

Signed to 1 year contracts
"The Franchise"Shane Douglas
"Crippler" Chris Benoit
Raven

The first HARD KNOX event will take place this weekend and footage will be available for viewing by Monday morning (aka i'll have a write up done by sunday hopefully)

Does this mean you're quitting the NWA TNA X-Division circuit?

I've got to warn you, with the short contracts the ruleset starts with, your roster may end up getting extremely small if you fire somebody every time you have a no-show.  Accordingly, I suggest you change your no show seed to 160 (making it half as likely as it currently is) at least if you want to use that rule.  And if your circuit falls under 20 wrestlers, bring in new ones with 6 month contracts until you're back up to size.

Yea i've closed down NWA:TNA Northeast. I wanted to try out a new rule set - maybe if RG adds more stuff to his, i'll give it another whirl.

As for firing no-showers, they will be fired and immediately replaced with someone else for the following month so my roster will always maintain it's constant size.

you mean 60 cards worth of rules isn't enough?  ;)

At the rate I'm running new cards right now, I'm on pace to get caught up to week 61 right about Jan 1 2006.  (I figure I'll probably speed up some here shortly though)

Good luck to you Shaun & this new venture of a circuit. It sounds like a great circuit. I'm sure you'll make it big with School of Hard Knox Wrestling.

I have Mohammed Yone in my BBW circuit and he puts up good ratings. He will be a good addition to your roster.
