ANNOUNCEMENT FOR NEXT WEEK'S HUGE CARD

Next week is our HUGE mid-year event and alot of the TNA superstars will be going in for contract negotiations after the event is over so this is their last chance to show off to the TNA officials.

The main event will be a 4 on 4 Elimination Tag Match featuring:
Kazarian - New Jack - AJ Styles - Jerry Lynn
versus
Sabu - Tazz - Christopher Daniels - Prime Time

Team Canada will defend their tag titles against The Naturals in a STEEL CAGE

We will also have a #1 contendership match for the tag titles featuring:
America's Most Wanted
versus
Shark Boy and a partner of his choice

And a special unsanctioned NO DQ and NO COUNTOUT contest with two new signees.

But none of those matches compare to the HUGE news out of the TNA office. A statement  issued moments before we went on the air tonight goes as follows:

"The Board of Directors for NWA:TNA - Northeast have gathered over the last two weeks to discuss the current situation surrounding the X DIVISION title. And after going back and forth regarding the matter, we feel that Rob Van Dam's actions have tarnished the legacy of the NWA and the integrity of the X DIVISION title.

Therefore, we have decided that in TWO weeks, a Royal Rumble style battle royal match will be held to determine a NEW X Division champion. We can not announce participants at this time due to contract negotiations coming up BUT what we can announce is that IF Rob Van Dam is still a member of the TNA roster after next week, he will NOT be allowed entry into the X Division battle royal.

Post Event Update:

After the event was over, TNA officials received word that CM Punk has decided to NOT renew his contract.

New Jack's contract was also up for renewal at the end of the evening and he has agreed to renew for another 27 weeks.

So who are the two new wrestlers on the roster. Are they former ECW or XPW wrestlers? or are they Japanese or Mexican wrestlers? I guess we will all find out on the next card.
