Week 21
Date/Time: April 1 2005 at 3:00pm

First off, we at TNA want to offer our condolences to Michael Shane who was forced to retire from this company due a severe injury sustained in the Wargames match. We hope that someday Michael Shane can return to the squared circle and TNA action.

Moving on to tonight's event, we've got alot of fallout from last week's HUGE event. Kid Kash will face Dallas and we will see a strange combination of Shark Boy and Glen Gilberti tag together for the first time against the team of Kazarian and NEW JACK.

Well since Shane is retired, i thought I would keep the respect thing that Kazarian has for NJ that put NJ in the Wargames match in the first place and put them together. Hell - if I can put over Gilberti/Shark Boy as a team, why not Kazarian and New Jack.  :)
SuperstarJimiCPosted on 01/20/05 at 00:29:32

First of all, I would like to congradulate "The Human Suplex Machine" TAZZ on winning the NWA-TNA X-Division Title (I bet Tazz is glad he left the WWE Smackdown Broadcast Booth to return to wrestling here in NWA-TNA Northeast.)

Secondly, It's sad to see MICHAEL SHANE being forced to retire due to a career-ending injury. He was starting to become a mega-star.

Other than that, I thought the card was great. It's good to see CM PUNK working for NWA-TNA Northeast.
Shaun SindelmanPosted on 01/20/05 at 15:19:03

Hey Jimi -

Thanks alot for the kind words.

I just looked back at some old threads and it made me realize something.

What ever happen to NWA TNA GLOBAL?
rey619Posted on 01/20/05 at 16:43:41

I'm just curious.. did Michael Shane suffer some injury? Or did you randomly choose him? I would think Jerry Lynn was a more valid choice, being old and injured, but I guess you still have plans for him.

Keep up the good work, and yes, what was NWA TNA Global?
Shaun SindelmanPosted on 01/20/05 at 17:35:24

Well he was out with an injury once before so he was the logical choice of someone who could possibly reinjure themself in a WarGames environment. Couldn't do Lynn since he was still tag champ at the time.

NWA TNA GLOBAL was to be a joint thing betwen Jimi and I for our 2 NWA styled circuits but it never got off the ground beyond an initial press conference announcement by him.

Critic of the DawnPosted on 01/20/05 at 18:03:57

Just like most of JimiC's projects for the boards thus far, he hyped the hell out of this project with more than one thread, and then ultimately failed to do anything at all with it.  It's unfortuantely something of a pattern with him, although in all fairness to him, he hasn't done it since overhyping NWA Global and failing to deliver.  And, for all I know, he's been extremely busy.

I'm just saying that NWA Global isn't the first thing that he hyped as the best thing since Sliced Bread #2, then failed to deliver on.

Eric "Critic of the Dawn"
Shaun SindelmanPosted on 01/20/05 at 20:37:57

well he actually MAY be doing some sort of joint ECW thing (from the looks of a thread over in the Discussion area)
Snabbit888Posted on 01/20/05 at 21:20:38

I wouldn't count on it.
SuperstarJimiCPosted on 01/21/05 at 00:07:15

After listening to everybody on here. I thought about NWA-TNA Global, then I decided to back out of it. As far as ECW goes, i'm going legit about this. I liked the one guys idea about it (after all, I like ECW-type wrestling) but if I do this, it's going to be a different ECW. It's not going to be the Tod Gordon version of ECW (Eastern), It sure as Hell isn't going to be the Paul Heyman version of ECW. It's going to be the TNM7SE version of ECW (meaning that it will be one or more circuits with ECW, mainly mine.) I have plans for it. Critic of the Dawn : Those are excellent ROH rules, but ECW is still going to be "EXTREME". It's going to have some of the old-ECW talent as well as new faces to ECW. I'm rambling on about this, E-mail me & i'll let you know more about it. I'm not BS'ing this time, like I said "i'm going legit" this time.
Snabbit888Posted on 01/21/05 at 00:30:31

Heh.  Those ARE some good titles, Eric.
