Problem with tag teams and database cleaner

JackPosted on 08/29/05 at 23:57:16

Hi,

I have a problem when I use the database cleaner plugin. When I choose the tag team database it gives me a list of all the tag teams. I tought it was only supposed to give me the tag teams which included wrestlers that are not in my database so they can be easily deleted (or am I wrong here?).

Also, when I want to import a mystery tag team and I choose  all teams from the tag team database, I get the message that some of the teams contain wrestlers that are not in TNM. I also get a list of 2 or 3 teams (of which the wrestlers are in my list of wrestlers) and than the program crashes.

Can anyone tell me how to solve this?

What error message does it give you?

The Database Cleaner has always listed all tag teams because sometimes wrestlers are in TNM under a different name than they used in the tag team, hence detecting tag teams where no member is in the database is impossible.

When I try to import a mystery team and I choose select from tag teams and I select all tag teams in my database (about 350) I get the message "you don't have all the wrestlers nescessary in your TNM" and it lists the first two tag teams from my database. When I hit the OK button the program ends.
I have checked my tag team database, all wrestlers are in the list. When I choose about 50 tag teams at a time it works well, is it possible that I have to many teams in my database?

Looks that way, 100-110 tag teams seems to be the maximum. Has anyone else encountered this problem?

Confirmed.  I've encountered this problem as well.

I've been having the problem in all versions of the beta 4 from build 1 to 1e.  And I just emailed Oliver about it tonight.  So hopefully, we should get an answer about it soon.

I have thus far not been able to duplicate it. Could s.o. please send me their TNM zipped so I can see what the problem is? Thanks a lot!

In the process of zipping that bad boy up as we speak. I'll email it to you momentarily.

If your email can't handle 11 MB attatchments, let me know and I'll send it via YouSendIt.

EDIT:  I'll also hold off on updating to the next build until we can get the problem squared away if you like.  The circuit where I tested it is labelled as "PPV Predictions and Random Stuff" or somesuch - it is in E-Fed mode.  My tag team database contains numerous teams composed of wrestlers that my TNM does not have.  If that helps at all.

Confirmed, acknowledged and fixed.

The Build 4 available now doesn't have this bug anymore. The max is now 300 teams.

Thank you.
