D'Lo Brown vs. Jerry Lynn

D'Lo didn't hesitate one bit, going right after Lynn.  He hit an early Sky High for a two count and followed the attempt up with a few quick legdrops.  He slowed the pace down a little, but still kept control.  Lynn turned things around when Brown went for another Sky High, but Lynn countered it with a dropkick.  Lynn and Brown exchanged blows after that until D'Lo whipped Lynn into the ropes.  Lynn went for a spear, but D'Lo kneed him int the face on his way in and hit a powerbomb for another two count.  D'Lo got a little cocky and began to taunt the crowd.  D'Lo hit Lynn with a couple of rights and ran into the ropes for a clothesline.  Lynn caught him in a Fujiwara armbar and after releasing it, quickly followed with the Cradle Piledriver.

Jerry Lynn pinned D'Lo Brown with the Cradle Piledriver in 0:12:28.

Paul London vs. Ludvig Borga

Borga didn't fair too well in his debut last week but he did have a distinct advantage over London; his size.  Borga used his stature to his favor and threw London around the ring, lifting him up for gorilla presses and such like he was nothing.  Much of Paul London's offense consisted of trying to take Borga off of his feet.  This worked sometimes, but when London went for a flying cross body block, he got caught by Borga and thrown over the top rope to the floor.  After a seven count he re-entered the ring only to be hit with a tilt-a-whirl slam, then got picked up and placed in the Torture Rack.  It looked as though London would submit, but he broke Borga's grip with an eye gouge, and squirmed his way into position to hit Borga with a hard DDT.  He quickly popped up to the top-rope for the London Calling.

Paul London pinned Ludvig Borga with the London Calling in 0:09:02.

*A short video package is shown from DCW Brute Force this past Monday.  The beginning of the video let's you know that this is the "Brute Force Backtrack."  It shows a few clips of the Jacobs/Raven match, including Abyss coming out and Heidenreich attacking him.  Then clips of Nash coming out injured for his match with Savio Vega, the Flock attacking him, and Heidenreich getting a Black Hole Slam from Abyss.  Finally, we see clips from the Hogan/Steamboat situation.  It starts off with clips of the Dragon talking to President Berry, then Hogan trying to get Mr. Berry to cancel the match.  Then clips are shown of the Hogan/Steamboat match, finishing off with Snitsky interfering.  The "Brute Force Backtrack" ends the same way Brute Force did, with a close-up on Snitsky's deranged face.*

Main Event: Garrison Cade vs. Konnan

Konnan has been on a roll his past couple of matches.  He's also becoming quite disliked here on Rapid Fire.  Konnan almost got himself DQed tonight as he seemed to break the rules a lot more than usual, taking every chance he had to choke Cade on the ropes and use the ropes for leverage.  Konnan got a two count after hitting a sitdown faceslam out of no where.  He teased the rolling clothesline, but instead of clotheslining Cade after the somersault, he hit him with a low blow that the ref let slide, though not without reprimand.  Garrison never really got the match back in his favor after that.  He got off a few moves here and there, but the low blow was the turning point.  It seemed that Konnan was only playing with Cade after that and could have pinned him anytime he wanted.  After bringing him to the outside and then, after a few slams into the guardrail, bringing him back in, Konnan hit a powerbomb and put his feet on the ropes for leverage just to add insult to injury.

Konnan pinned Garrison Cade after a power bomb in 0:08:29.
Rating: *** 1/4

After the match Konnan celebrated to the crowd's jeering, making lewd, though not unfit for TV gestures as the show ends.

Jerry Lynn winning?  Good.  Paul London winning?  Good.  Konnan winning?  I'LL FUCKING KILL YOU, CHRIS!

Was I the only one who didn't actually mind Ludvik Borga back in the day? Don't ask why, but I always found something enjoyable about him. Shame he's jobbing right now, but we'll see if things change. Lynn winning appeases me nicely though. And I hope you're called Chris too, else Snabby just yelled at me.

I was unaware you were a Chris as well, 91, but if you ever push Konnan, I'll fucking kill you too. :)

I could see Ludvig moving on up in DCW in the future.  I like him too.

Konnan winning?  I'LL FUCKING KILL YOU, CHRIS!
lol, he was the first person to hit the "hot" list, I decided not to fight it and submit to TNM's whim... for the moment. ;)

I have 33 guys on my hot list, but I don't push them all.  DIE, CHRIS, DIE!

Hehe.
