DCW Rapid Fire (1/2/05) Pre-PPV

Welcome to DCW Rapid Fire!  We're coming to you live from Conseco Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, Indiana!  In just one short hour we'll be bringing you Seasons Sleighings live on pay-per-view and what a doozie out first one will be!  We'll crown the first ever DCW World champion and we know from this past edition of Brute Force that the match will be Kevin Nash taking on Hulk Hogan!  Also, Raven said on Brute Force that he would "take care" of things tonight and it looks like he will because after the show a new match was signed; Raven versus Jimmy Jacobs!  Not to mention our  first ever tag team match between the Dudleys and Jerry Lynn and Paul London.  Plus we've got the match you've all been waiting for... Dan Severn... John Cena... falls count anywhere.  And if Cena doesn't bother to show up, he's going to be fired!  But thats not untill the pay-per-view.  This is Rapid Fire, so lets get to the action.

Charlie Haas vs. Konnan

Neither of these men has had very much luck in DCW so far.  Tonight they tried to end their losing streaks, but only one could be ended.  They went blow for blow, move for move for a good portion of the match, never letting the other get the uper hand.  Haas kept trying to take Konnan's legs out, while Konnan kept trying to focus on Haas' back, both trying to get the other in a position for a quick tap out once their finisher was locked in.  Haas thought he got the better of Konnan, hitting a dropkick to the face and trying for the Haas of Pain, but Konnan tangled him up before he could get it on and when all was said and done Konnan has Haas in the Tequila Sunrise!

Konnan made Charlie Haas submit to the Tequila Sunrise in 0:15:26.

Konnan celebrated while te crowd booed him.  Haas looked quite angry with himself and just left the ring with a dissapointed look, shaking his head.

"Dark and Troubled" Steve Richards vs. Garrison Cade

This must of been Steve Richards 'mission' for the night as Raven called it.  Richards look in sad shape as Cade simply overpowered him for much of the match with Richards only gaining back control from an eye poke here and a low blow there.  Steve brought a chair into the ring right in front of the ref.  As the ref was disposing of the chair Richards pulled something out of his tights, wrapped it around his hand and socked Cade right between the eyes, taking him down.

Steve Richards pinned Garrison Cade after hitting him with a foreign object in 0:17:08.
