That was a great card Shaun. I mean it, you have a great circuit. Only two belts in the circuit, Sorry to hear about Michael Shane. He would've been a great X-Division Champion. But, let's make bygones be bygones. Why don't we have two circuits like WWE has Raw & Smackdown. Global & Northeast ought to be great brands in NWA-TNA. Think about this. That's a great opportunity when it comes to TNM7. Let me know what you think of that.
HugeRockStar760Posted on 12/16/04 at 02:12:50

I'm running a circuit similar to yours, Shaun.  It's amazing how using mostly non-WWE wrestlers can make a circuit more enjoyable.  I have no idea why.  I guess because it's what we always see and change is always good.

I like the concept you used as well.  If TNA ever becomes a big time promotion, I wouldn't be surprised if they did some kind of split like you've done with the X Division getting their show/promotion.

Although, I do like a good mix, and that includes the Monty Browns and Jeff Jarretts (Monty Brown is like Goldberg in my circuit now).

JimiC, respectfully, if you're hoping to do a cross-promotional thing with Shaun, it would have been polite to ask him first via Private Message or email, and wait to announce your plans until he had agreed to do it.

Shaun, this was a pretty solid card.  I've been enjoying these since you started the circuit, and I've found the variation you've put on Rick's rules to be refreshing.  They do provide a framework which lets you build a good promotion with strong feuds and the like, but promotions using them can sometimes blend together a bit.

That's true.  I think something really creative would be to blend in Americamamushi's rule sets into it.  I'm using his rules for another circuit to test out and they are pretty good.

Could make for a good multi-fed thing for people who want to run two, competiting circuits, but use different rule sets.  I thought about doing that myself, but I had a hard enough time running one circuit.

Whenever I see someone doing a brand extension type circuit, I know it won't last very long.  Too much work, and too many wrestlers and storylines to work with.
Shaun SindelmanPosted on 12/16/04 at 02:36:59

I'm all for any sort of joint work. I will certainly put the call out to Global guys to showcase their talents on my show when we hold our next major primetime event. I hope you will do the same for my guys.

Also, if you ever want to do a cross-promo feud or storyline, let me know.

ciao!

I will, I was trying to do like RAW being one circuit & SMACKDOWN being another. Then like 6 months or a year later into the cards doing a Draft Lottery which you pick 6 or 7 of my wrestlers to Northeast & I pick 6 or 7 of your wrestlers to Global. I accept your challenge but I have to correct my first cards to get with the storylines. I get it why people don't like my circuits now. I don't put enough info into my cards. I will this time. One more thing I have to ask, I know Michael Shane is injured right now, I was wanting to know since i'm doing three cards a week, (Friday being the main weekly card, Saturday & Sunday with my wrestlers & my developmental talent), I was wanting to know in the last 3 or 4 weeks before he returns from his injury if I could borrow Michael Shane for my circuit, to wrestle on my Saturday & Sunday shows to rehab his injury. Let me know. Other than that, it was a great card. Let me know. What's your E-mail I gave you mine.
