Austin Idol vs Bam Bam Bigelow

The first ever CWF House Show opened up with a match between Austin Idol and Bam Bam Bigelow.Early on people had the assumption that because Bam Bam Bigelow was outweighing his opponent by over 120 pounds this would be a walk in the park for him.Early on however Arn Anderson made his presence known. He was there to play mind games with Bam Bam Bigelow, and apparently it was working because Bigelow lost focus and almost got pinned a couple of times.Bigelow also was having aggrivation at the ref for the slow counts in favor of Idol.

Arn Anderson also caused the ref to be distracted twice while Bigelow had Idol pinned. The finish came when they brawled on the outside, Anderson clotheslined Bigelow, rolled him back into the rting and Idol locked on the figure four.Bigelow at this point had no choice but to tap out. After the match Arn and Idol double teamed Bigelow and left him out cold on the mat. They then left the ring together. As Idol went to the back, Arn gave the Four Horseman sign to all the fans and then to Idol. What is the relationship between Idol and Arn? What is Arn's problem with Bigelow? How mad will Bigelow be when he comes to?

Winner:Austin Idol by Submission
Time: 12:32
Rating: ** 3/4

Baron Von Raschke vs Wahoo McDaniel

This was a battle of Germany vs the Native Americans.Early on in the match Magnum TA came out to get a birds eye view.Shortly afterwards so did Bad News Brown.Baron got The Claw on early in the match. After 50 grueling seconds he fought out if it.Bad News made his presence in this match known when he almost got Von Raschke DQ'ed when he tripped Wahoo. The finish came when Wahoo Irish Whipped Von Raschke into the ropes but he reversed it.Bad News seized  the oppurtunity and pulled down the rope, Gary DaRousha saw that and had no choice but to dq Von Raschke. After the match all 4 men got into a brawl and had to be separated by security.

Winner:Wahoo McDaniel by DQ
Time: 6:01
Rating: *1/2

Afterwards we went to a back as our camera's caught up with an irate Bam Bam Bigelow.

Bigelow: Idol, I had you beat you know that I know that and the fans know that. However that dipshit Arn Anderson had to get involved.I don't care about the match Arn, I really don't.All I care about is causing pain on who ever crosses my path.As I look at it Arn, I will take care of you and Idol on the next show.Oh I have my partner and Arn, he hates you about as much as I do.Idol you know this guy very well, so watch out and be prepared to feel the flame.

So tommorrow night the match has been made, Arn Anderson/Austin Idol vs Bam Bam Bigelow and His partner.

Jay Youngblood/Rick Steamboat vs The Destruction Crew

We found out, as Mike Enos and Wayne Bloom entered the ring, that this was the first of a series of matches over 2 nights to decide who the first ever CWF World Tag Team Champions will be.During the match, Ric Flair and Tully Blanchard, another team in this mini tournament, came out to watch the competition.Wayne Bloom hit the butterfly suplex early on on Youngblood, but he kicked out after the 2 count. This match was all Enos and Bloom, they had their way with Youngblood and all Steamboat could do was watch.

Steamboat had all he could handle and came in.Steamboat and Youngblood double teamed Enos.Still however, Youngblood was in the ring as the legal man.Numerous times, Youngblood complained about James Beard's slow counting.Enos got the Double Hammerlock Submission on Youngblood, but he got to the ropes. At around the 15 minute mark Steamboat finally got tagged in.

The match ended in a draw, but Beard allowed it to continue because of it being a tournament bout.Steamboat was a house of fire until he went to the well with a Flying Cross Body press to the outside. The Destruction Crew took over from there.Ric Flair made his presence felt when he hit Steamboat with a chair. The finish came shortly after when Enos had Steamboat in the Double Hammerlock Submission, but Steamboat was in the ropes, Beard ignored that and gave the match to the Destruction Crew.

After the match Steamboat and Flair got into a fist fight as well as Youngblood,Tully and The Destruction Crew. The Destruction Crew adavnces however thanks to James Beard and Flair and Blanchard.

Winner:The Destruction Crew by Submission
Time: 24:23
Rating: ****

Verne Gagne vs Bad News Brown

Early on Magnum TA came to ringside for revenge from earlier. This was a short match as Magnum TA pulled down the rope and Bad News fell over, Downtown Bruno saw this and awarded Bad News the match. He didn't care however as Bad News and Magnum TA brawled to the parking lot before being broken up by the CWF Locker Room and Security.

Winner:Bad News Brown by DQ
Time: 1:40
Rating: 3/4*

The Road Warriors vs The Midnight Express

This was a brawl. The Rock N Roll Express came down because they are also in this tournament. This was pretty much a battle of David and Goliath.Gibson threw Hawk a road sign and Eaton was hit with it, this got a 2 count however. The finish to the brawl came when Hawk and Animal knocked Stan Lane to the outside and connected with The Doomsday Device on Eaton.

After the match The Road Warriors were brutally attacked by a masked tag team as they celebrated. They were left busted open and unconcious as this mystery team crawled out of the ring before The Rock N Roll Express got in the ring.We also found word that Magnum TA has just signed to face Bad News Brown at tommorrows card. Also scheduled in a rematch is Baron Von Raschke and Wahoo McDaniels.

Winners:The Road Warriors by Pinfall
Time: 9:03
Rating: ** 1/4

Arn Anderson vs Magnum TA

As this match got underweigh we received word that The Road Warriors were sent to the hospital, and would be unable to continue in the tournament. So that means The Destruction Crew will take on the winners of the main event for the tag titles tommorrow.Early on in the match Bam Bam Bigelow came to ringside. He was there to obviously seek revenge on Arn Anderson.Bam Bam made his presence felt as he hit Arn with a chair.Magnum TA took advantage and hit The Belly to Belly Suplex and picked up the win.

Winner: Magnum TA by pinfall
Time: 8:03
Rating: ** 1/4

Rock 'N' Roll Express vs Ric Flair/Tully Blanchard

This was the match to decide who would go on to face The Destruction Crew. The Midnight Express came out early on to seek revenge for Rock N Roll Express costing them a shot at the tag titles. This was a back and forth match with no team getting a clear advantage.Gibson locked Tully in a sleeper, but Tully got to the ropes after 15 seconds.Stan Lane threw a pair of brass knuckles to Tully, but Robert Gibson caught it and connected with it and got the win.So it will be The Destruction Crew vs The Rock N Roll Express for the CWF Tag Team Titles.

Winners:Rock N Roll Express
Time: 7:27
Rating: *3/4

These 2 men first locked horns when they tried to intefere in Wahoo McDaniel vs Baron Von Raschke. They then got into a brawl later on in the evening. They agreed to a match the second one was offered.

Baron Von Raschke vs Wahoo McDaniel

This is a rematch from yesterday. They both agreed to a rematch in hopes of continuing their rivalry in the ring where it belongs.

The Destruction Crew vs The Rock N Roll Express

This was originally supposed to have The Road Warriors in it.How ever after their win last night, they were attacked by 2 masked men.Who  were they? These 2 teams are fighting for the CWF World Tag Team Titles.

Rick Steamboat vs Tully Blanchard

This match was made because of Tully and Flair causing Steamboat and Youngblood to lose their match last night.

Jay Youngblood vs Ric Flair

This match like Steamboat vs Blanchard is a match made because of last nights actions.Youngblood was irate that Flair interfered in their match and demanded one tonight.
TerryFunkaPosted on 12/03/04 at 20:09:43

Arn Anderson/Austin Idol vs Bam Bam Bigelow/Jerry Lawler

The show opened up with a bang.Arn Anderson and Idol were in the ring when Bam Bam Bigelow came out.He wasn't alone either. His suprise partner was Jerry Lawler.Anderson and Idol were Irate.

Early on in the match it was apparant that Idol and Arn weren't alone. They had backup in the form of Tully Blanchard and Ric Flair. These 4 men went back and forth.Flair and Tully made their presence felt numerous times, almost costing Lawler and Bigelow the match. The end came when Idol had Lawler in a Figure Four Leglock and Downtown Bruno counted the 3 count even though Lawler was in the ropes. After the match Flair and Blanchard joined in and it became a 4 on 2 attack on Lawler and Bigelow. We went to the back and saw the 2 teams getting ready for the tag team title match.

Winners:Arn Anderson/Austin Idol by Pinfall
Time: 11:07
Rating: ** 3/4

Bad News Brown vs Magnum TA

As both wrestlers came down the ramp we saw a replay of the brawl these 2 men had last night.Baron Von Raschke and Wahoo McDaniel came out during the match.Von Raschke threw Bad News the bell, but Magnum intercepted and connected with it.Both Wahoo and Baron threw weapons to a wrestler in the ring.Magnum hit the belly to belly suplex, but Baron distracted Gary DaRousha.Baron entered the ring and chokeslammed Magnum TA.Bad News then hit the Ghetto Blaster and got the win.

After the match all 4 men continued their brawl and once again had to be broken up by security. We then went to the back where Bam Bam and Jerry Lawler were issuing a challenge.

"We don't care which 2 of the 4 of you accept, we really don't.All we are looking for is a fight.Next Saturday, on January 8th 2005 Bam Bam Bigelow, and Jerry Lawler will be looking for a fight. So ride up on your ponies and kiss your ass good bye.

The Destruction Crew vs The Rock N Roll Express

Before the match camera's went to the back and Wayne Bloom was knocked out.Mike Enos had no choice but to find a replacement partner, and that he did in Bobby Eaton. During the match, the masked duo who attacked The Road Warriors yesterday, came out.It was obvious they took out Wayne Bloom. It was obvious that Eaton and Enos were at a disadvantage. They had never teamed before. The masked men made their presence felt attacking both teams in this match. The Rock N Roll Express weren't prepared for Eaton and it was shown.Eaton hit the Alabama Jam, but only got a 2 count.Neither team was able to keep the other down.

It was obvious, because the match went well over 20 minutes before the first fall. Both teams weren't pleased with the officiating both teams knocking down Bruno numerous times. The end came when one of the masked men threw a frying pan into the ring.Enos caught it and connected with it giving Enos and Eaton the win in the first fall. The Rock N Roll Express won the 2nd fall with a flying cross body press by Morton.Enos and Eaton won the 3rd fall with the Alabama Jam.

This match wasn't for the titles we found out, because Bloom wasn't in the match. So a match has been scheduled as soon as possible between The Destruction Crew and The Rock N Roll Express. The masked men left the arena before either team could get ahold of them.

Winners:Eaton/Enos (2 falls to 1)

CWF Show 3: House Show January 8, 2005

Any 2 of Arn Anderson/Austin Idol/Ric Flair/Tully Blanchard vs Jerry Lawler/Bam Bam Bigelow

For the past 2 shows both sides have left the other battered, bruised and bloody. On the last show Bam Bam and Jerry Lawler had enough. They issued an open challenge to any of the 2 of the 4 people who have an unique relationship we don't know much about.

Baron Von Raschke vs Magnum TA

Last week these two men along with Wahoo McDaniel and Bad News Brown kept interfering in each others matches. To make everything fair, both Bad News Brown and Wahoo McDaniel have been barred from ringside.

The Destruction Crew vs The Rock N Roll Express

The titles were supposed to be decided last week on the January 2nd House Show. However the masked men attacked again this time taking out Wayne Bloom. This week if everyone is healthy, they will finally have the match for the tag team titles.

Wahoo McDaniel vs Bad News Brown

Last week these two men along with Baron Von Raschke and Magnum TA kept interfering in each others matches. To make everything fair, both Magnum TA and Baron Von Raschke have been barred from ringside.

An update on the Road Warriors

As you all know by now last week The Road Warriors were brutally attacked last week by 2 masked me.No one yet knows who the masked men are. Before the night is through we hope to get an update on their condition.

Verne Gagne vs Tully Blanchard

This match was made when Verne Gagne came out in Tully's match last week. Now we don't know for sure if this match will happen because Tully has an option, like Flair,to wrestle in the tag match instead.Who ever doesn't wrestle in the tag match will wrestle in these 2 matches instead.

Jay Youngblood vs Ric Flair

A rematch of last week.Youngblood feels that he deserves another shot at Flair. Now like Tully,Ric has the tag match as an option. So if he chooses that option, this match could change.

Nice stuff.  Looks like each card gets some good solid ratings.   I'll predict Wahoo to win the title.
TerryFunkaPosted on 12/07/04 at 19:55:34

Anyone have any predictions on who the masked tag team is thats been wreaking havoc during the CWF House Shows?
91Posted on 12/07/04 at 20:20:46

Hmmm, a big name old school tag team (I assume it's a tag team rather than a random pairing) from the 80's. You've got the Road Warriors, Midnight Express, Rock'n'Roll Express, Destruction Crew and most of the Horsemen are flitting around. Also since you make no mention of their size or build, I'm guessing it's a regular sized duo (were it, say, Bundy and Studd, one would surely have said it was two HUGE masked men).

Otherwise, I reckon we're looking at the Bulldogs, Fantastics, Fabulous Ones, possibly the Harts. Doesn't seem like the style of any of the Martel tag teams, and I doubt it's the Minnesota Wrecking Crew what with them having little to do with Arn up till now. Can't see it being the Dream Team. Demolition possibly too. Maybe even the Rockers. Nah, due to your favouring for NWA teams so far, I'll say The Russians.
TerryFunkaPosted on 12/07/04 at 20:30:28

CWF will not be put up as frequently any more.I put up 4 cards in as many days, and its hard keeping up with the rate I have been doing.I will continue to post cards but don't expect them to be put up this frequently.
