Match observations:

Well we saw some suprises here tonight. The biggest one being the newest
member of Minoru Super Plus, "Minoru" Kanyon. Another suprise was a hard
fought battle between the members of Team EGO, and another loss for Ultimo
Dragon at the hands of Christopher Daniels. Let's get the action recap.

Our first match saw Minoru Tanaka and Minoru Fujita head to the ring. Tanaka
took a microphone as soon as they got to the ring. He announced that since
he had to fight in a league match tonight that he enlisted some help for so
he would be able to put out his best effort in the league match, and with that,
we where treated to the introduction of Minoru Kanyon. Kanyon meshed well with
the technical styles of MS+, and helped them totally dominate The Golden Dragons
in this non-title match.

Our next match started the league action, and in league 1 we saw Bryan Danielson
pin Tajiri (who also fought in our first match). And in the second match in league 1
action, Christopher Daniels was again able to best Ultimo Dragon. After the match
Ultimo got on the mic and challenged Daniels to a best of 3 falls best of 5 series to
start after the leagues finish. Daniels has yet to respond to the challenge.

League 2 action saw Dragon Kid pick up a suprise win over CM Punk. Kid was able to
reverse a move on Punk which caught him totally off gaurd and cost him a valuable
win. In the second match of League 2, Tiger Mask IV and Great Sasuke faced off in
one of the best matches of the night. This match went back and forth, took the
the skies, went to the ground, and every where else before Tiger Mask was finally
able to put Sasuke away with the Tiger Suplex.

League 3 saw CIMA and Magnum TOKYO fight it out in one of the best matches in NWJ's
short history. These two fought each other like they where bitter enemies, and when
it ended got up and shook each others hands and celebrated TOKYO's win together, a
true display of sportsmanship, that the fans seem to love. Our second league 3 match
saw the clever Minoru Tanaka and Jyushin Lyger square off. Tanaka came in pretty fresh
considering that he was in a match earlier tonight, but Lyger just out classed him in
every possible way...eventually leading to a big win to put him in a position to tie
for first place in league 3.

Our final match of the evening saw NWJ TV Champion Shelton Benjamin face off with
Mr. Gannosuke. Gannosuke couldn't hold the gaijin down for longer than a two count,
even with his finishing DDT. In the end Benjamin hit his signature Dragon Whip and
retained the title. Shelton Benjamin then got on the mic to express his condolances
for anyone who thinks they can take away his title.

We leave you now with the league standings, thanks for watching and have a great night!
