Match observations:

Well another NWJ champion crowned tonight. TV Champion Shelton Benjamin gave
it his all, but Kenta Kobashi took home the gold. We also saw the creation of
3 Jr. Heavyweight leagues in which the winner will compete in a 4 corners match
for the vacant NWJ Jr. Heavyweight Title. Lets get to the match rundowns.

Our first match saw Hisakatsu Ohya take on Tetsuhiro Kuroda in a solid
wrestling match. They trade holds back and forth and there was excellent
chain wrestling skills displayed by both men, in the end however Ohya
proved to be the more skilled of the two and took home a victory.

Next up Ezaki made the big announcement about the Jr. Heavyweight Leagues.
2 leagues of 4 combatants, and 1 league of 5 combatants. The numbers seem
a bit weird but I am sure there was a good reason behind this.

To start out our league 1 action, Danielson took on Ultimo Dragon tonight.
The two put on a great technical match, which included some excellent high
spots from Dragon, who sadly lost this match.

Next up in league 1 action was Tajiri and Christopher Daniels. Everyone, myself
included expected Daniels to take this match, but we where all suprised when just
the opposite happened and Tajiri took the match cleanly with the Kick Of Death.

In league 2 we saw Tiger Mask IV take on CM Punk. Punk and Tiger Mask put on an
excellent match, that saw Tiger Mask kick out of the Pepsi Plunge very early on
to come back and rally a hard fought victory.

Our second league 2 match saw Great Sasuke and Dragon Kid fight it out. This match
was a crazy high flying spot fest. Although Sasuke eventually took it to the ground
where Dragon Kid paled in comparison, this gave Sasuke enough of an edge to pick up
a win.

Team EGO swept league 3 with CIMA picking up an upset against Jyushin Lyger and
TOKYO scoring a victory over one half of the tag team champs Minoru Super Plus
when he pinned Minoru Fujita. I'm not sure if TOKYO's win over one of the tag
champs will put Team EGO at the top of the list for a title shot once the league
action wraps up, we'll just have to wait and see.

Kenta Kobashi wished his opponent luck in their match, and ironicly it was luck that
enabled him to win the match himself. Benjamin had this match won after hitting a
Dragon Whip but some how Kobashi managed to kick out at 2.9, Shelton Benjamin thought
he had won the match and had jumped up and start to celebrate, as the ref explained
the situation to him Kobashi hit the Burning Lariat and scored a 3 count. Kobashi
did the sportsman like thing and offered Benjamin a handshake which Shelton accepted.
The two then celebrated Kobashi's win of the NWJ Heavyweight Title.

That's all for this big NWJ event. We hope to see you all next time. We'll leave you
with the Jr. Heavyweight League standings. Goodnight.

Don't hurt yourselves all trying to comment at once now... :P

Seriously though I would love feedback if anyone has time to give it. Thanks.

Well since you asked so nicely...  ;)

Yeah, I can see you're definitely going down the high workrate route, something that certainly paid off here. Good that you're including a summary of everything at the end in order to sell everything too, at first it's all unfamiliar territory as I'm not too clued up on puro and I haven't heard of half these guys (obviously the North American contingent I know, as well as guys like Kobashi, Magnum and Tiger Mask, but people like Ohya, Kuroda and Fujita are total unknowns to me). But yeah, as long as you sell everything like you have, there's a fair chance that I'll grow familiar with those I don't know as the circuit develops legs.
