NWA:TNA - Northeast Region - Week 1

Shaun SindelmanPosted on 11/21/04 at 16:03:42

I've decided to take the current status of NWA:TNA (champions and running feuds from their tv show) and bring the action to the Northeast region (NY/NJ/CT/PA). Hope you enjoy.
----
Week 1
Held in: ASBURY PARK CONVENTION CENTER
Location: ASBURY PARK, NEW JERSEY, UNITED STATES
Date/Time: Nov 20/04 at 3:00pm

NWA:TNA has expanded it's reach to the Northeast region where the superstars will do battle in the Tri-State area (as well as Pennsylvania).

The fans were told that this wouldn't be your typical NWA:TNA circuit. No Jeff Jarretts or Jeff Hardys or Monty Browns arguing over the World title. No Dusty Rhodes or Vince Russo arguing over who's DOA. All the fans would be witnessing is the nonstop action from the X Division superstars and those of the hot tag team division.

Speaking of tag team division, our opening bout was a tag team contest between America's Most Wanted and Triple X. Both teams were still steamed over the events at Victory Road and were looking for a chance to get their hands on the other two men.

AMW got the win but I'm sure Triple X is far from done with Harris and Storm.

Wow - this match was 40 seconds from being a draw and the fans were loving every second of it. Shane and Kazarian were the more veteran tag team and it showed as they finished Shark Boy off with their tag finisher, the Modern Art. Also noted is the presence of Trinity and Traci at ringside and how those two almost came to blows.

Chris Sabin was out there to prove he is deserving to be the next X Division champ as he took apart Alex Shelley and finished him off with that Future Shock finisher. The current X Division champ, Petey Williams was standing in the entranceway watching this match and Chris Sabin in particular VERY closely.

I'm quite curious as to where you'll take TNA in the weeks to come.  And do I detect a Rick's Old School Rules? ;)  That brings up a question, I noticed you mentioned the X-Division titles, will that be your singles titles as opposed to the NWA World title?  And what groups of wrestlers have you included/discluded from your database?  ie. Will the 'M' Key be bringing in the possible WWE wrestler? or Luchadore?
Shaun SindelmanPosted on 11/22/04 at 00:31:22

Thanks man - it certainly is a Rick's Old School Rules circuit (gives me alot more weeks to work with and maybe by the time i get to the end, Rick will have new weeks written *grin*).

Yep - the X Division is the highest belt in my version of TNA.

As for who is included and excluded, i'm trying to focus on indy guys so you may see alot of the same talent here as you would in SSPW (ie. CM Punk, Da Hit Squad, etc.) I'm gonna try and stay away from any of the big time WWE guys - if anyone from WWE shows up in my TNA, it will be the lower rung members of their roster. I don't think i will trust TNM to pick mystery guys so when the rules set asks for me to use the "m" key, i'll just pick the people myself.
