Umbrella fed

rey619Posted on 11/07/04 at 22:08:43

OK, here it goes. I'm thinking of starting a new umbrella fed, even though every single one I've ever been in has died out after a month or two. Maybe we can make it to the third month this time?  ;D

No, seriously, if anyone wants to have a go, I am willing to be   the CEO and take care of everything. To allow you guys (and girls?) to have a say in what type of this umbrella should be, take a look at http://rey6190.proboards39.com/index.cgi
to take a couple of polls. Feel free to come with suggestions either on this or the fed board.

I'm in Rey Rey, as usual

OK, so far three people has signed in and did the poll.. not bad, but I want to wait another couple of days to see if more people will join. There are so many great feds out here that having some of them onboard would be tremendous.

I also added a third poll, how many wrestlers max, so for those who've only voted in two polls, check it out.

thanks

OK, I've locked the polls now and am starting up. So far we only have three members, but others are more than welcome to join even though they didn't do the poll.

So this is the way this Umbrella Fed will be run.
Every participants picks 30 wrestlers and send their names to
me. I then decide according to when you drafted them, who gets who. I then post an updated roster. You can pick from any alive, active wrestler today. The last point may be grounds for some arguing (Hogan, is he active??) but I'm quite lenient and will only refuse those who absolutely can't get into the ring (like Bret Hart).

A card must be posted every two weeks, but if you know something's coming up, let me know and it's ok to "backpost".

Supercards will be held every month to pit wrestlers from the different feds against each other.

I promise you that as long as people participate, this is great fun! And I will certainly not abandon ship as CEO, as others have done before me  ;D

Thanks

Drafting for the Global Wrestling Alliance is now over. The two puro feds, Neo Wrestling Japan and Iron Spirit Puroresu almost emptied their bank account in their fight for superstar Keji Muto, while Mapleleaf Wrestling Federation owner Pulsar didn't have much competetiton for stars such as Benoit and Jericho, and could easily secure their signatures.

At this point, MWF have only signed 12 wrestlers, but as the other two feds are more occupied with puro wrestlers, Pulsar is free to scour the Canadian market. Meanwhile, the fierce puro competition continues as Carlzilla snatches Magnum Tokyo right in front of the eyes of Americamamushi...

Go ahead "Carlzilla"... if that is your real screenname.  Take your Magnum TOKYO... for I have Muto

*Insert evil laughter here* ;D

NWJ congratulates you in the aquisition of Keiji Muto...however we feel that we have a strong roster and are looking forward to the competition.

Your Puro style can not match the power of the Mapleleaf! (PS, card coming soon)
