Match #1
"Ironman" Rob Conway/"Mr. Wrestling" Nick Dinsmore vs. The Revolution (Tommy Dreamer/Perry Saturn) (w/ The Amazing Red)
High Voltage started off with a fantastic tag team match as Rob Conway and Nick Dinsmore took on Tommy Dreamer and Perry Saturn of the Revolution. The Revolution has already become a very cohesive unit, almost helping The Amazing Red win the North American Title number-one contender battle royal last Monday on Explosion. Red was down at ringside in the corner of Dreamer and Saturn, but he didn't get involved physically. A great tag team match here with both teams showing good teamwork. In the end, Tommy Dreamer would catch Rob Conway with the Dreamer DDT and that would be enough to put this one away.

The Revolution (Perry Saturn and Tommy Dreamer) defeated Rob Conway and Nick Dinsmore when Dreamer pinned Conway with the Dreamer DDT in 0:12:16.
Rating: ****

Rob Conway and Nick Dinsmore are a terrific team, which makes how quickly the Revolution has gelled all the more impressive. Separately they were going nowhere fast, but together, Tommy Dreamer, Perry Saturn, and The Amazing Red are going to be three men we will all have to deal with.

Match #2
Two out of Three Falls Match
Shark Boy vs. Teddy Hart
Shark Boy upset Teddy Hart last week on this very program to pick up his first victory in Global Championship Wrestling, prompting Hart to make the challenge this week for a two out of three falls match. Teddy Hart has been embarrassed all week over what happened, and because of that he came out aggressively and in all honesty, was making a lot of stupid mistakes. Shark Boy was taking these mistakes from Hart and having a whole lot of fun with Hart, making him look foolish. Shark Boy was even biting Teddy Hart on the ass, much to the crowd's enjoyment (but Hart's obvious dismay). Hart finally settled down and began to wrestle more of his match, but he never seemed to recover from the opening minutes which resulted in Shark Boy winning the first fall with the Dead Sea Drop.

Teddy Hart was stunned after taking that DSD, but to his credit, he kept trying to fight back. However, it is pretty obvious that Shark Boy is in Hart's head right now and as a result, the man of the sea has his number. Hart never recovered and got caught in a second Dead Sea Drop just minutes later.

Shark Boy beat Teddy Hart 2 falls to 0:
x Shark Boy beat Teddy Hart via the Dead Sea Drop in 0:10:59
x Shark Boy beat Teddy Hart via the Dead Sea Drop in 0:13:52
Rating: **** 1/4

Shark Boy dominated his match beating Teddy Hart in straight falls. We have learned that Teddy Hart, not willing to accept defeat, has challenged Shark Boy to one last match, this time with falls-count-anywhere rules. The match has been signed and it will take place tomorrow night on Explosion!

Match #3
Non-Title Match
Lance Storm (North American champion) (w/ Dawn Marie) vs. Danny Basham (World Tag Team champion) (w/ Shaniqua)
Lance Storm knows he will be defending his North American Title against Sean O'Haire at Retribution, but he had a tough non-title match here against Danny Basham, one-half of the World Tag Team champions. Danny Basham is a tough guy, and being led by Shaniqua makes him downright nasty. Storm took a beating in this one for sure, but Danny Basham simply isn't the singles wrestler Storm is. Shaniqua saw this as well, and rather than risk Danny suffering an injury of some sort and jeopardizing the World Tag Team Titles, she took her charge to the back, giving Storm the countout victory.

Lance Storm defeated Danny Basham by countout in 0:08:21.
Rating: ** 3/4

Lance Storm stays on the winning track as he prepares himself for the huge challenge of Sean O'Haire at the pay-per-view. Dawn Marie gave Storm a congratulatory hug, obviously very happy with her client's performance.

Match #4
MAIN EVENT
Jeff Hardy (w/ Matt Hardy) vs. Doug Basham (World Tag Team champion) (w/ Shaniqua/Danny Basham)
Main event time, and you knew the potential for a huge brawl was here as Jeff Hardy took on Doug Basham of the World Tag Team champions with their respective tag team partners at ringside. Both wrestlers tried to play to their strengths in this one, with Jeff Hardy taking it to the air whenever he could and Doug Basham trying to ground Jeff with his superior mat wrestling knowledge.

This was a clean match for the most part. Matt Hardy and Danny Basham stayed a good distance from the action, both men holding the other at bay. The tension was building though, and we knew it was only a matter of time before it boiled over. Late in the match, Jeff Hardy nailed Doug Basham with a somersault plancha and tossed him back in the ring. As Hardy tried to get back in the ring, Danny Basham flattened him with a clothesline! Matt Hardy wasn't going to stand for that as he rushed around the ring and tackled Danny Basham, incited the huge brawl! Doug Basham jumped out of the ring and joined the fray. There was no way referee Petey Pluck was going to get this brawl broken up as both Jeff Hardy and Doug Basham were counted out.

Jeff Hardy and Doug Basham battled to a double countout in 0:07:41.
Rating: *** 3/4

The Bashams and the Hardyz continued to fight on the floor until the GCW Official Brigade broke it up (which wasn't an easy task). Shaniqua and the Bashams have successfully turned the entire tag team division against them, and with those World Tag Team Titles, they have a huge bullseye on them. The next team to get to take aim at the Bashams? Billy Kidman and Paul London.

What a great opening match.  gotta love the team of Dinsmore and Conway, though both as singles i better.  The Revolutin seems interesting. It might just be me, but I can't stand Jeff Hardy anymore, after seeing his ROH appearance. Granted I haven't seen any of him in TNA, but he just rubbed me the wrong way.  I am still rooting for Kidman and London to take the tag straps.
