Match #1
Shark Boy vs. Teddy Hart
In the early months of GCW, if you wanted to break a losing streak, having the man across the ring from you be Shark Boy was a good sign. Teddy Hart had that distinction this week as he was looking to turn his recent luck around. Early on in the match, it looked as if Teddy Hart was going to break his streak as he was dominating Shark Boy. But as the match continued, Hart became too arrogant, pulling Shark Boy's shoulders off the mat when it looked like he had a victory locked up. Hart climbed to the top rope and wasted a lot of time, and as a result, Shark Boy had time to trip Hart up, causing him to be crotched on the top rope. As Hart fell back into the ring, Shark Boy quickly followed up with the Dead Sea Drop and picked up his first win in Global Championship Wrestling!

Shark Boy pinned Teddy Hart with the Dead Sea Drop in 0:09:47.
Rating: *** 3/4

Shark Boy was understandably very excited as he finally put a notch in the win column. Teddy Hart was a little less happy for Shark Boy, attacking him after the match and locking him in the Sharpshooter. Hart eventually let go on his own accord, but the damage has been done. We have learned that these two will meet once again on High Voltage next week, but this time, it will be in a 2 out of 3 falls match.

Match #2
Booker T vs. Christopher Nowinski
Booker T was in action next, taking on former GCW talent Christopher Nowinski, who was making a one-night appearance. Nowinski had a lot of spunk in this match, but Booker T is a seasoned veteran and one of the top talents in the world, and he showed it with his performance tonight, finishing off Nowinski with the Book End.

Booker T pinned Christopher Nowinski after the Book End in 0:05:36.
Rating: ** 3/4

A good win for Booker T, and surprisingly, no appearance from Goldust. However, you have to believe that those two are once again on a collision course.

Match #3
MAIN EVENT
"The Alpha Male" Monty Brown vs. "Fallen Angel" Christopher Daniels (w/ Daffney)
Our main event this week on Explosion featured a mismatch in styles as the powerhouse Monty Brown took on the smaller and quicker Christopher Daniels. If there is one thing Daniels is lacking from being the complete package it's that he is on the small side, and because of this, he had a lot of trouble combating Monty Brown's power and size. But there's one thing the Fallen Angel definitely has and that's ring smarts. He's one of the smartest grapplers in the ring, and he used those ring smarts to throw Brown off his game, locking him in a variety of innovative submission moves. To Brown's credit, he fought through it and in the end was able to plow through Daniels with the Pounce and picked up the victory.

Monty Brown pinned Christopher Daniels with the Pounce in 0:09:29.
Rating: *** 1/4

A very solid victory for the Alpha Male. After the match, Monty Brown grabbed the microphone and simply said, "Brock Lesnar! You're going to feel the POOOOOOOOOOOUNCE!" Monty Brown is obviously not afraid of Brock Lesnar. But Lesnar is also not afraid of Brown. When these two beasts lock up, there are going to be fireworks.

I'm happy for Shark Boy he was long over due and got a win over a great wrestler.

No Goldust maybe Booker will reverse the mind-games or maybe it's just over....

Monty Brown is over the top in chrisma he just oozes with it. I really hope he picks up the win against Brock.

Keep up the good work.
