Cerberos's Taboo Tuesday (really really late)

Anyway here comes Taboo Tuesdsay ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Taboo Tuesday comes on the air with a video package talking about all the different possibilities tonight could have. We then go to the ring where Christian and Tyson Tomko. Christian: Don't worry Captain Charisma is here! I want all my peeps out there to see just how bad I beat up this fruitcake Steven Richards. Then I will come back and beat Chris Benoit because I know you will all be voting Christian! Lillian: And his opponent.... Suddenly a stand hand runs into the ring. He tells Lillian something. Lillian: I am sorry to announce that Steven Richards isn't here tonight. However there has been a replacement. Ladies and Gentlemen, I give you the returning BIG STEVIE COOL! Stevie Richards comes out in the old jean shorts and cut off shirt. Lillian: And his partner... Stevie: Hold on there big momma. Now there are a few guys in the back that wanted to be in this match. However there was only one worthy of wearing the blue and white. I GIVE YOU NOVA!! Nova comes out with the old painted face and everything. The act like just like they did back in ECW. Lillian: And this match will be what you fans voted for...AN ECW RULES MATCH! This was a typical ECW style match with them fighting in the crowd and using everything they can find. Stevie of course was acting like a mix between Shawn Michaels and Kevin Nash. On the floor Stevie hit his Stevie Kick while in the ring Nova hit Christian with his Kryptonite Krunch for a the win. No-Countout-No-DQ-Falls-Count-Anywhere Match: Big Stevie Cool and Nova defeated Christian and Tyson Tomko when Nova pinned Christian with the Kryptonite Krunch in 0:08:45. Rating: *** 1/2 The fans erupted at this victory. Stevie and Nova celebrated in the ring. Suddenly Nova nailed Stevie. Nova then gave Stevie the Kryptonite Krunch. The fans booed as Nova walked to the back. In the back we see Coach with Trish and Victoria. Coach: Ladies and Gentlemen, up next is the Woman's championship match. Now lets see what you fans voted for! We see a slot machine type image come up. It goes around and stops on Bra and Panties. Coach: I guess it is going to be a bra and panties match and that is next! As Trish comes to the ring her music stops and the Smackdown theme starts. Heyman: Sorry to interrupt but I wanted to let all these fans know that the REAL superstars are here. The camera finds a sky box that is full of Smackdown superstars. Heyman: I wanted all you people to know that when you vote for the Smackdown stars we are ready. Now lets get back to some great T&A! Victoria charges the ring while Trish is distracted and rips her top off right away. Trish came back with the Chick Kick and ripped off Victoria's pants. Trish goes for Victoria's top but she hits a jawbreaker. She then quickly hit the Widow's Peak and took Trish's top off for the win. Bra and Panties: Victoria defeated Trish in 0:04:44. Rating: * 3/4 (Victoria retained the WWE Woman's Title.) We then go to a video of Matt Hardy's history and hyping his return. Matt comes out and then we go to Coach. Coach: It is time to find out who Matt Hardy will be facing in his return match. And the results are...KANE! Kane charges the ring but Matt catches him with a slingshot bodypress. This was a huge brawl. Kane dominated Matt with power moves. He got a near fall with a Chokeslam but Kane pulled him up. Kane threw Matt to the floor. He went for the Tombstone but Matt floated over and shoved Kane into the post. Kane went down as the ref counted nine. Matt rolled into the ring as the ref counted ten. Matt Hardy defeated Kane by countout in 0:08:06. Rating: ** 1/2 Kane sat up and went nuts. Matt quickly rolled from the ring but official wasn't so lucky. Kane gave him a chokeslam and then a tombstone. Kane then grabbed a camera man. Kane gave him a chokeslam. Finally from the back out came Edge who ran off Kane. Coach: What a night so far. Recently Val Venis and Shelton Benjamin have had their problems. Well tonight they will have it out strap or cage or submission match. And the verdict is...A STRAP MATCH!! This wasn't a great match as it was short and the strap wasn't used much. Val basically hog tied Shelton who became tangled in the rope first. He then drug him from corner to corner for the win. Strap Match: Val Venis defeated Shelton Benjamin in 0:03:20. Rating: 1/2* After the match Val grabbed a chair and laid into Shelton. Finally officials pulled him off. In the back we see Todd Grisham with Ric Flair. Grisham: Ric, tonight you will face the Rhyno. Lets see what kind of match the fans voted for. You won't like this Naitch, it is going to be a HARDCORE MATCH! Flair: What? You mean to tell me I have to go out there and make a fool out of myself! I am a wrestler Todd, not some stupid stunt man. Those kind of matches may have been ok for freaks like Mick Foley but not a legend like myself. However you fans will just have to watch as I defeat another freak like Mick Foley. Grisham: Don't forget, Rhyno was the last ever ECW Champion. Flair: Really? Well I guess that means that when I beat him I can add another championship to my resume and another career. WHOO!! This was a great match and it showed that Rhyno was here to stay. Of course there were no rules and Rhyno is just about the master in this type match. Flair worked on the man beast's legs but Rhyno came back with a modified spinebuster. Rhyno then grabbed a chair and puts Flair's arm in and stomps it several times screaming about being a stunt man. Rhyno then waited for Flair who as he got up got Gored nearly out of his boots for the win. ECW Rules: Rhyno pinned Ric Flair with the Gore in 0:10:37. Ric Flair tore his right biceps. He will be out for approximately 7 cards. Rating: ** 3/4 Rhyno was setting up a table at ringside when from the back out ran Batista and Randy Orton who pulled him from the ring. We then go to the back where Todd Grisham is with the tag team champ Rosey and Hurricane. Todd: Guys it has just been announced that you will be facing the Spiders, an unknown team here on Raw. Hurricane: Holy fix Todd. How can team totally unknown get a tag team title match? It seems like there are evil forces at work! However we all know that good always triumphs over evil. We go to the ring where the Spiders are in the ring. The camera shows many of the Smackdown superstars having a good time celebrating and applauding the Spiders. This wasn't the match many people expected as the Spiders dominated the match and hit Smackdown's Dudley Boy's finisher 3D for the win. The Spiders (Spider 1 and Spider 2) defeated Rosey and The Hurricane when 2 pinned Hurricane after the 3D in 0:04:27. Rating: ** 1/4 (The Spiders won the World Tag Team Titles.) In the back we see Eric Bischoff pacing. Bischoff: What is going on with this? Why is Heyman here? I just don't trust him. Something isn't right here. Suddenly Triple H bursts in. Triple H: I want to know what my match is going to be and who it will be against. Bischoff: Ok. Let me get the results. Bischoff walks to a computer in the room. Bischoff: Hunter, it will be you and William Regal tonight. Triple H: WHAT?! NO! Bischoff And the fans have voted for a Three Stages of Hell match. The matches are a straight match, a submission match and a falls count anywhere match. Sorry Hunter, that is what they want. Hunter suddenly grabs Eric. Triple H: Bischoff, Regal's blood will be on YOUR hands. Triple H shoves Bischoff as we go to Todd Grisham. Todd: Well it is time for out Intercontinental title match. Will it be Edge, Chris Jericho or Eugene. And the man with the title shot will be...EUGENE! Jericho and Edge both look shocked as Eugene celebrates. Todd: Up next it is Batista and Eugene. This was a short match but very intense. Eugene looked good and got a near fall off a Stunner. Eugene went to the to top for what looked to be a flying double axehandle but Batista caught him and gave him a spine shattering spinebuster for the win. Batista pinned Eugene after a spinebuster slam in 0:04:17. Rating: *** (Batista retained the Intercontinental Heavyweight Title.) We then go to the Smackdown box where we see the Dudley Boys, Spike and Kurt Angle all arriving. JR and King wonder why they are just arriving. We then are told it is time for the Three Stages of Hell match. The first was a straight wrestling match that was very good. Regal got a near fall off of his neckbreaker and his double underhook powerbomb. Triple H came back with a high knee. He then hit the Pedigree quickly for the quick win. Triple H pinned William Regal with the Pedigree in 0:07:19. Rating: *** 3/4 The men are given 30 seconds between matches. At the bell Triple H goes right to work on Regal's knee setting him up for the Figure Four or another move he uses quite often, the Indian Death Lock. Regal came back when he hit his neckbreaker a second time. He then went to work on Hunter's back with a series of knees to the back and a backbreaker. Hunter came back and went for Pedigree but Regal countered with a backdrop driver. He quickly locked in the Regal Stretch. Hunter tried to fight but finally passed out from the pain. No-Time-Limit-Submission Match William Regal defeated Triple H when Triple H passed out in the Regal Stretch in 0:14:44. Rating: **** Regal tries to go right into a pinfall but there is a 30 second rest period. During that Batista and Randy Orton come out and check on Hunter. We are also informed that Ric Flair has been taking to a local hospital for an arm injury. The bell rings and right away Batista and Orton attack Regal. From the back out limped Eugene along with Rhyno. They quickly take care of Evolution. Regal and Triple H fight into the crowd and end up in a concession stand. They then fight up into the Smackdown box. The guys get out of the way as they fight. Regal nails Hunter with a European Uppercut that sends him into Kurt and the Dudley's. Angle grabs a water pitcher and nails Hunter in the back of the head. Regal rolls him up into a small package for the win. Hardcore Match: William Regal pinned Triple H after a small package in 0:12:38. Triple H suffered an ankle injury. He will be out for approximately 3 cards. Rating: **** 1/4 [Batista and Randy Orton interfered against William Regal.] [Kurt Angle interfered against Triple H.] Angle grabs Hunter and locks in the Ankle Lock. Security rush in as does several Raw superstars. Soon a war breaks out between the Raw and Smackdown guys. Bischoff even comes in and attacks Paul Heyman. Finally security pulls them apart. Bischoff starts screaming to kick them all out of his building. The Smackdown guys leave as Batista and Christian check on Hunter's ankle. Coach: What a night it has been folks. We have one more match, and it is for the World Heavyweight title. Who will it be? Folks it looks like we will be having an inter-promotional match as you have voted for SHAWN MICH... Bischoff: HOLD IT RIGHT THERE COACH! Now Shawn Michaels may have won the voting but he has left the building and that means that he isn't eligible for the match. Who got the next highest? Coach: It was...well Randy Orton. Bischoff: Then its Randy Orton taking on the champ. Get out here NOW! Orton comes out and we are told that Batista and Triple H have left the building to take Hunter to the hospital. JR: Evolution is falling apart! King: That is what these people wanted. They are jealous! They wanted to take Evolution apart and they have done it! Orton and Benoit had a good match. It wasn't the best either have had but very good nonetheless. Early on Orton was in charge with a series of chops and went to work on Benoit's neck. Benoit came back with a snapped suplex followed by his Diving Headbutt. Benoit locked in the Crossface but Orton got to the ropes. Benoit then hit his trio of German's and went up for the Headbutt again. Orton however moved and Benoit hit hard. Orton picked him up and went for the RKO but Benoit countered into a picture perfect Northern Lights for the win. Chris Benoit pinned Randy Orton after a Northern Lights suplex in 0:17:22. Rating: *** (Chris Benoit retained the World Heavyweight Title.) We go off the air with Benoit holding his title high. Suddenly JR starts yelling about something going on the parking lot but we go off the air. |
| meetzorak | Posted on 10/31/04 at 06:05:16 Ienjoyed the card aside form the fact it was annoyiling late i likes that you picked kane for the matt hardy match but i really wanted to see batista vs. flair but i guess you can't run a card just on what i said.... whatever let me use this reply also to plug my new New England wrestling federation the cards being worked on as i speak. p.s. i know annoyiling isn't a word and for those who don't like my spelling fuck you! ;D |
| Snabbit888 | Posted on 10/31/04 at 21:31:30 Very good card. I liked the HHH/Regal stuff, and I'm glad Benoit has gotten such a long title reign. Long title reigns are the bee's knees. Was a little surprised that Val Venis went over Shelton, but I guess it's okay because it helps differentiate your RAW from real life RAW. Overall, a good effort. And PS... meetzorak, just use your feedback to someone else's card to plug your own stuff... it's not cool at all. Feedbacking other people's circuits isn't a cheap way to get people to read your circuit. It's to let someone know what you liked, what you didn't like, etc. |
