A little vague there, Leafsfan1. But that's okay.

I'm assuming you downloaded and installed the newest version of TNM7SE.  Congrats!

In order to play, go to the directory you installed TNM in and run TNM.BAT.  Keep in mind, this game is a DOS based program. It is best to run it in the command prompt. If you don't know how to do this. Post a reply and I (or someone else) will help you.

To add wrestlers to the program, you can download them from TNM7.COM or visit my personal favorite www.tnmuk.com. You then have to import the wrestlers within the program. Again, anyone on this board can help.

Also, remember to take a moment to read the manual. It will answer a lot of questions before you even know you have them.

Have fun.

Thank you Unright.

Ya i can't find TNM.BAT. Either that or I'm looking in the wrong place. Sorry can you help me again I'm kinda new at this.

Thanks

TNM.BAT should be in the directory you installed TNM7SE to. The default directory is

C:\TNM7SE

Keep in mind, Windows often hides the file extensions (such as .BAT). So you may just see a file called 'TNM' with an icon of a box with a cog in it. Alternatively, you can also instruct Windows to show you the File Extensions by going to the Tools menu, selecting Folder Options, go to the View tab, then uncheck "Hide File Extentions".

Download the exports you want and unzip them into the EXPORTS folder.

Start TNM7, choose Database, select TNM Control Center, and click the Import button.  Choose the wrestlers that you wish to import, then repeat until you have imported all the wrestlers you want.

When i download a wrestler lets say A-Train for example i download it to my documents then i copy and paste it into the exports file then i extract it but it isn't in the import thing and is the file suppose to be in notepad like when i downloaded it it is in notepad
UnrightPosted on 09/30/05 at 23:23:17

I believe the export files are echnically viewable as text files, but if you opened it in Notepad, it would just appear as a jumble of numbers with occasional words thrown in. TNM knows how to read it correctly.

I usually extract them to the export directory, then follow Critic of the Dawn's instructions on how to import them. When you click import, it should give you a list of the files in the export directory. Since there is a limitation in DOS for files to be only 8 characters long, you might see the name abbreviated. Select it, and the wrestler will be imported.

Alright I finally got it I just didn't know that you could click on the wrestlers name.

May I suggest reading the manual?  It'll answer a lot of these questions for you.  Not all, but a lot... especially how do you play.  Heh.
leafsfan1Posted on 10/01/05 at 03:01:02

for the music do you have to add your own and when i go to start a new card or whatever it just kicks me out.
