Card overview:

Tonight started a new era in wrestling, but, it was an old rivalry that ended the show. Can HBK and The Hitman co-exist, especially now that Hart defeated Michaels to capture the PWW World Title?

The nWo made their presence felt in the tournament but was Scott Hall's failure to appear a sign of desention among the supergroup?

And special thanks to "Crippler" Chris Benoit for stepping up & taking Hall's place tonight. It must have been hard to face fellow former Triple Threat member Shane Douglas on a moments notice.

Coming in 4 days on July 11: The PWW United States Title Tournament. The brackets will be announced soon. Check back on this post to find out if your favorites are in it.

Bret Hart winning is good.  I'm surprised that Hogan jobbed to Savage in the quarters though. ;)

Hall was prolly off fighting his 'personal demons' again ::)

That was a great first card. Bret Hart defeating Shawn Michaels in the finals to become the first PWW World Heavyweight Champion. I hope this will be a first of many cards for the PWW.
