Christian York gives a tearful interview about how his good friend and tag team partner Joey Matthews had to retire to wrestling after breaking his back last week. With Joey Matthews' blessing, York will reform the Young Lions with a new tag team partner but it won't be quite the same. He introduces his new partner...Johnny Kashmere. Punk calls out Cabana as AmDragon and Joe leave the ring and the SCS knock around Conway until Dragon and Joe right back out to make the save. SCS and Dragon and Joe brawl around the ringside area until sercurity seperates them and the show ends.

Interesting.  You had Matthews retire.  That's fairly unusual to see in a TNM circuit, but considering he broke his back it does make sense.

The thing I'm wondering is whether he'll return from his retirement once the 21 weeks are up, or whether he's really gone for good.  On one hand, it'd be a guaranteed storyline and this is wrestling.  But on the other, he broke his back.

Looks like Conway turned face here tonight.  I suppose a match featuring him and either Joe or AmDrag against the SCS is pretty likely at this point.  Nifty.

And Petey Williams gets a rematch against Low Ki.  Ki holds the only decisive victory over Williams thus far, so it should be big.

Interesting stuff.
