He said that it was thought long and hard about who would be in the Heavyweight Title Tournament Title in the final spot caused by American Dragon's injury. Samoa Joe will be out until next week because of the attack from Homicide and Homicide has been suspended. CM Punk has been voted in the slot by the board of directors in MCW.

The crowd chants "bullshit" and "fire the ref" because of the disqualification finish. The Title has not been decided. Hopefully next week we will get a ruling about how the belt will be decided but we are out of time.

Homicide not being given the spot surprises me, but I'm pleased by that choice.  Punk definately deserved to be in the tourney.  Pity he didn't make it to the finals.

Petey Williams takes his first loss, but it's only by DQ.  I'm guessing that next week we'll have a No-DQ rematch between Shane and Williams for the gold.  Either one of these guys would make an excellent champion, but I'd personally rather see Michael Shane with the gold becausehim winning the title by dealing Williams his first pinfall defeat would be very significant.
