I wonder if that'll be censored...

Steve Corino pinned Super Calo with the Old School Explusion in 0:04:26.
Rating: ** 3/4

Bobby Eatons TV title challenger for this Sunday, Steve Corino, got an easy
victory today over Super Calo, and later cut an interview declaring that the
old school beating on Eatons ass this Sunday would make this PPV broadcast an
NC-17.

Kid Kash and Low Ki defeated The Miracle Violence Connection when Ki pinned
S. Williams with the Ki Krusher '99 in 0:04:26.
Rating: *** 1/4

Low Ki and Kid Kash might be squaring off this Sunday for the cruiserweight
title but as friends, they were happy to compete in a little tag team action,
taking the chance to scout each other while they were at it. Both men were
eager to let the other know there wouldn't be any holding back and when Kid
Kash has Terry Gordy beat, Low Ki hit Steve Williams with his finisher and
stole the pin for himself. Kash was at first miffed, but Low Ki explained that
this Sunday, there would be no friendship and he'd take a win anyway he could.
Kash returned the remark and the two nervously shook hands.

Ricky Morton pinned Curt Hennig with the Rock'n'Roll Buster in 0:08:25.
Rating: *** 1/2

The odds are evened between the Rock'n'Roll Express and Pretty Perfect as Ricky
Morton scored a beautifully executed win over Curt Hennig today, going into
the big tag team title match this Sunday. With Owens win over Robert Gibson
last week, it's going to be tough to predict a winner.

Handicap-Match:
The Pitbulls defeated (Paul Roma, Pete Gas and Rodney) when Pitbull #2 pinned
Roma after a powerbomb in 0:03:47.
Rating: ** 1/2

The Mean Street Posse and Paul Roma teamed up for the first time to
take on the dangerous Pitbulls, and promptly got squashed, their attempts at
dark and demonic ways no match for actual talent and ability. If this is
anything to go by, hopefully Scott Putski will finish it quick. Sadly for him,
he has to deal with Sean Mooney, now back after the blow he took at Ground
Zero and sporting some bandages around his forehead and plasters all over his
face.

Bobby Eaton pinned Larry Zbyszko with the Alabama Jam in 0:14:54.
Rating: ** 1/4
(Bobby Eaton retained the Television Title.)

Bobby Eaton got in his last television title defense before Wrestlefest,
mustering a very impressive win over Larry Zbyszko, who pushed him to the limit
several times in a hard fought contest. Perhaps Larry can liken THIS to his
1980 match with Bruno Sammartino.

Edge & Christian defeated The Young Lions when Edge pinned Matthews with the
Downward Spiral in 0:10:36.
Rating: *** 1/2

Victory for Edge and Christian today as they head to Wrestlefest to take on
Furnas and LaFon. John Cena is apparently promising Furnas and LaFon however
that he has secured them a tag title shot against whomever wins the titles this
Sunday to happen within the next month or so. If this is true, Edge and
Christian have some added motivation to defeat what might well be the next tag
team champions, thus surely ensuring a title shot for themselves.

Chavo Guerrero Sr. pinned Essa Rios with the Chavobomb in 0:05:14.
Rating: ** 3/4

Los Guerreros had a happy night as well with victory for Chavo Snr. The four
of them will all be at Wrestlefest as Eddie takes on nephew Chavo Jr. and the
other three all participate in the big battle royal. As the three of them
bickered about who was going to win in an interview, Eddie stood in front,
ignoring them, and prided himself on what he planned for Chavito.

Jerry Lynn, Raven and Sean O'Haire defeated Billy Kidman, Kurt Angle and Rhyno
when Raven pinned Rhyno with the Evenflow in 0:11:00.
Rating: *** 1/2

The final match before the companies biggest event of the year, Wrestlefest VII
saw Raven demonstrate why he is the champion with another impressive win, this
one in tag team action. The main event, a six man tag team match, was due to
showcase the three biggest matches with Raven, Jerry Lynn and Dynamite Kid up
against Billy Kidman, Don Muraco and Kurt Angle. Things changed early in the
night when Don Muraco stormed Matt Hardys office demanding Jerry Lynn be
suspended for his actions against Jeff Hardy last week, appealing for Matt to
show some compassion for his own brother. Matt ignored him and when Don got
agressive, Matt had him removed from the building. Kidman and Angle quickly
responded by revealing Rhyno as their substitute partner and not long later in
the show, we found Dynamite Kid laying backstage having been Gored heavily by
Rhyno, causing him to bang his head into a wall. The doctors on hand advised
Dynamite not to wrestle tonight, but come the match, Lynn and Raven unveiled
Sean O'Haire as their own replacement.

The match itself saw Kidman and Raven wanting to go at it for the best part,
but without getting much chance to lock up until the final stages. Lynn and
O'Haire did a good job of dealing with Angle, then Kidman, leaving Raven to
polish off Rhyno.

Card rating: ***

Match observations:

[Matt Hardy had a couple of other appearances of note. Early in the show, he
received a telegram which shocked him, and he ran off to find Shane McMahon in
order to deal with it. Later in Shanes office, the two were discussing what to
do about it, and when there was a knock at the door, they expected it to be
Devon Storm and John Cena, for reasons unbeknownst to us. In actuality it was
Jody Fleisch, whom McMahon and Matt were desperate to get rid of. Jody, on the
other hand, had a big list of new proposals to make the DWF more exciting,
but he was promptly ejected.

Later, Cena and Devon did show up, and they eyed each other angrily the whole
time. Matt Hardy announced to them that they were shaking up the IC title
match at Wrestlefest, and immediately, without knowing the details, they both
voiced their disapproval. Matt then informed them that they had received a
telegram that was apparently from none other than... The Rock?!? That quickly
shut up Cena and Devon, that announcement had just come out of left field.
Further more, Rock had expressed an interest in being in the Intercontinental
title match this Sunday and due to the star power he possesses, Matt Hardy was
going to grant his wish and the match just became a fourway. If it's really
true and The Rock shows up this Sunday... wow.

The decision in the Pride of Canada tournament was an easy one - this Sunday,
the three men who tied, Chris Jericho, Chris Benoit and Lance Storm will
compete in a triple threat match and the winners trophy presentation will be
postponed until the next night. Lance Storm got some interview time today when
he said that he was the one Canada was proud of most of all and he intended to
do them proud this Sunday.

Steve Corino pinned Super Calo with the Old School Explusion in 0:04:26.
Rating: ** 3/4

Once again I have to echo myself and say that I hope Corino wins the TV Title; I really seem something strong from Eaton and Corino.

Ricky Morton pinned Curt Hennig with the Rock'n'Roll Buster in 0:08:25.
Rating: *** 1/2

I miss Hennig. (He should of won.) :)

Bobby Eaton pinned Larry Zbyszko with the Alabama Jam in 0:14:54.
Rating: ** 1/4
(Bobby Eaton retained the Television Title.)

Thanks God! I bet Zbyszko said he was going to "stretch Eaton like a rubberband." I'm just not a big fan of Zbyszko but it was a nice seeing him pop up on your card. I like your roster, as I said before, you have old and new guys.

Edge & Christian defeated The Young Lions when Edge pinned Matthews with the
Downward Spiral in 0:10:36.
Rating: *** 1/2

It's good to see them as a tag team again.

Jerry Lynn, Raven and Sean O'Haire defeated Billy Kidman, Kurt Angle and Rhyno when Raven pinned Rhyno with the Evenflow in 0:11:00.
Rating: *** 1/2

That's a pretty awesome group of wrestlers, well put together, IMO. Kidman and Raven is going to be a great match. I'm excited to see what takes place at Wrestlefest VII!

:D Thanks again.

With Hennig losing, I had a couple of singles matches between the Rock'n'Roll Express and Pretty Perfect (Hennig and Owen) to build their tag title match and kept it even with both teams getting one win, so as not to make it too obvious who's winning the title match. Owen has a slightly weaker win-loss record, so I chose him to get Pretty Perfects win.

Zbyszko is really just comic relief (well, comic relief that amuses me - my style of humour is an acquired taste, but included as my main purpose with my circuit is simply to amuse myself). He won't be getting jobbed out mind you, but his main points of note are being managed by perennial idiot Jonathon Coachman and harping on about how he once faced Bruno Sammartino. Much like real life... If it really catches on with me, as with anybodies characters, he'll be elevated.
