- What could not be said about this match? It was pure high flying excellence even for a battle royal. The fans were going nuts! We had lightweights soaring from every direction. Jerry Lynn looked as if he might of had this battle royal won but it was the slick Ultimo Dragon who ended up with the win. Dustin Neal has stated that his lightweight division will be the strongest division wrestling fans have ever seen. Also, much is expected from Ultimo Dragon as the division will be tough.

(D'Lo Brown won the Authority! TV Title.)

- This was a nice battle for a strong title. A lot of stiff fighting from the likes as Benoit, Guerrero and Miller, along with a great showing of technical excellence from Storm, but it was D'Lo Brown who kept fans on their seat. He put his heart into this match and it showed as he won the television title. Brown stated after the match that he was ready to defend it next week.

- The Dudley Boys came to the ring and were given a big heel pop as they taunted the fans. Bubba and D-Von simply stated that they would be the first tag team champions to grace Pro-Wrestling Authority! Dustin Neal came down to the ring and told the Dudley Boys and the fans that next week's show will feature tag team action and that tag team champions will be crowned.

Owen Hart RIPPosted on 07/25/04 at 09:21:07

Good card, but I do have a couple suggestions. Chris Jericho is now around the 230 pound mark, so he's hardly a cruiserweight, and La Parka is 235 pounds which is much past any CW limits I've ever heard. Just my opinion
91Posted on 07/25/04 at 13:15:09

Unless he's using older exports. Both were part of WCWs cruiserweight division.
Dustin NealPosted on 07/25/04 at 16:40:53

Yeah,

I'm using the non-WWE Jericho.

La Parka has always been a big lightweight.
Richard Garcia JrPosted on 07/25/04 at 17:06:08

Good card Dustin! I look foward to seeing how Batista leads the federation. Should be great!
cerberosPosted on 07/25/04 at 20:45:27

Very good card.  I like that Batista came out on top as a young guy as the leader of the fed is a great idea.  I also like Jericho as cruiserweight.  Should be interesting.
Dustin NealPosted on 07/25/04 at 22:30:07

Thanks!

Batista just clicked with me when I saw him kicking the hell out of Benoit's head last Raw.  I knew he would be my main heel.  I'm trying to work around finding my main face, as I have a few in my hands.  Also, I'm using Jericho as he was used in WCW.  I miss the lightweight heel Jericho.

:)

Ahhh, the Paragon of Virtue era. Jericho has always been all-round awesome, but that was his total and utter prime as far as being entertaining me goes.

I think this might be the greatest page on the entire internet... http://www.angelfire.com/al/DestroyersofLight/1004.html
CarlzillaPosted on 07/26/04 at 22:49:48
