NWA UNITED: A MATTER OF RESPECT

JustinPosted on 07/26/04 at 15:02:30

The show opens in Vince Russo's office. He is standing next to his desk as Brock Lesnar walks in.
VR: Good Brock, but, next time try knocking first.
BL: Get on with it Russo. What do you want?
VR: Well, last week when The Rock & Sylvan Grenier didn't show up, I said there would be punishment handed out. So, as of right now, they are both suspended until SummerSlam. When The Rock will face you, Brock Lesnar, one on one.
BL: That's great but what about my match tonight?
VR: Well, in keeping with the theme of the show. Tonight Brock, you will face a man that you have shown absolutely no respect for in the past. Tonight Brock, you will face The Undertaker. Now get out of my office.

The Rock & Sylvan Grenier will not be back until SummerSlam.

Steve Williams decimated Mike Awesome tonight. Can anyone stop "Dr. Death"?

Raven & Edge stole the show tonight.  What will it take to get these two back in the ring together soon?

That was a great card, The NWA World TV Title vacant? I feel sorry for Sean O'Haire, but i'm sure he'll get the a shot at the title in one of his first few matches back.

Chris Benoit still champion, but no contract. I'm surprised that you won't renew Benoit's contract for a higher deal. You can do that with the Tweak circuit piece on your plugins to your circuit. It was a great show overall.

Now there's an injury I've not seen in TNM before. Dislocated hip? It's that time he spent being managed by Roddy Piper that's rubbed off on him.

And I'm thinking this weeks main just delayed the inevitable, Douglas will take the title next up. Probably...
