CARD OVERVIEW:
Great card, great results.

Match of the Week:
AJ Styles vs Randy Orton
RATING: ***1/4

First of all, Tommy Dreamer becomes the first NWF World TV Champion, winning a (10-Man) Battle Royal, only to lose a Non-Title match in the very next match to Tommy Cairo. That was guts on Dreamer's part.

It's great to see Stone Cold Steve Austin back in wrestling, since being released by the WWE back in April.

Next Week on 7/26/04 :
A One-Night Tournament will take place to determine the first NWF World Tag Team Champions.

Also:
Steve Austin and AJ Styles take on Randy Orton and Dave Batista in a Gimmick Match.

If anyone has questions, comments, suggestions or want to see a wrestler or tag team or manager join the NWF, then let me know on this post. Any feedback is possible so if you're reading this, send me a reply about what you thought of the card. Thank You.

Scrapped the website address. It didn't work. I'll try to get another free homepage. Why hasn't anyone posted what they thought of my first NWF card? That card was great. Let me know.

Part of the reason that you might not be getting a lot of responses is that you've hyped the hell out of two circuits for days or weeks, called for input, and then summarily dropped them after just a few shows.  In wrestling terms, you've jobbed yourself out, and it'll probably take a while and a lot of really good stuff for people to consider it worth more than a quick skim.

Since I'm here, I might as well offer a quick comment.

Your roster is interesting, but the presence of Austin and Styles as top faces without equally credible opposition makes things feel just slightly unbalanced to me.  Orton and Batista are your top heels, yes?

I'm not implying that they won't work, but you'll have to build them up quite a bit to make them seem like a valid main event level threat compared to Styles and especially Austin.

Well Critic of the Dawn, I disagree with that, No, I didn't jobb my self out. I'm planning to keep the NWF going this time. I'm not getting rid of this circuit that quick. I like this circuit. This has been my wrestling circuit name since 1998 when I had TNM 6.2. I didn't know what I was thinking but this time, the NWF is the real deal. As far as Austin & Styles goes with their feud with Orton & Batista, I think this is a great feud. I think Orton & Batista are the future stars of the business & this is a big break for them. With Ric Flair managing them, they have a future with the NWF.

I think that the future faces in the NWF are AJ Styles, Billy Kidman & Paul London.
