ECW in the works!!

SuperstarJimiCPosted on 07/14/04 at 01:10:55

That's right, the raging death-defiying hardcore circuit is back in business, minus Paul Heyman as owner. This ECW will be totally different, this time their will be a possible 10-day tour of All-Japan Pro Wrestling. This ECW will not be a bankrupt circuit like in the past. This ECW will have stars of the past such as Tommy Dreamer, The Sandman, Sabu & Raven. As well as new stars like AJ Styles, Low-Ki, Christopher Daniels & Chris Sabin. In addition, we will be wrestling in venues that ECW wrestled at in the past like ECW Arena in Philadelphia, PA. As well as new venues that ECW never have wrestled at before like Madison Square Garden in New York, NY. So this circuit will be great. So if you're reading this (in which you are), drop me a line on this post.  Thank You for your time.

Rick GarrardPosted on 07/14/04 at 14:41:43

no no no ... Chad Austin, Hack Myers, and most importantly JT Smith

All you ECW-phites will understand exactly what I mean.
Shaun SindelmanPosted on 07/14/04 at 15:04:43

Let's not forget guys like Mikey Whipwreck and 911 and Balls Mahoney!
Rick GarrardPosted on 07/14/04 at 15:09:43

also... the Ironman... Tommy Cairo.

Okay so he may be pre-Extreme... but he was a member of ECW back when Snuka and Muraco were their main event.

Nobody has said Shane Douglas yet, and I like him, so here you go.
americamamushiPosted on 07/14/04 at 21:38:52

Al Snow... pre-WWF/E Al Snow rocked.
SuperstarJimiCPosted on 07/15/04 at 00:31:03

I don't know, but I just brought back ECW to this post & not even one day & I already have a fan base going. Just keep posting! I Love It.
1) The Dudley Boyz - That could be arranged in the future considering that I already decided my 20. But, knowing me, the former 8-time ECW World Tag Team Champions may be back in the near future.

2) Chad Austin - I have never seen him wrestle but hopefully he'll be a future candidate for ECW.

3) Hack Myers - I've seen him wrestle twice for ECW. I live in Hanover so I never had SportsChannel Philadelphia, but I used to buy ECW videos from RF video. I remember Hack on two shows. The first one, was 1995 November To Remember when he lost to Sabu (in his ECW return) & 2) 1995 ECW Holiday Hell (Their first trip to Queens, NY) I don't remember who he fought that night. I'll tell you later.

4) JT Smith - I know exactly what you mean Rick Garrard, The fans chant "JT's Got A W***y".

5) Mikey Whipwreck - former Mr. Everything in ECW. My favorite ECW match with him was in 1995 when he fought The Sandman in a Ladder Match, where Mikey busted open the Sandman with the ladder & won the ECW World Title.

6) 911 - He's the man at any oppotune time would come out & chokeslam heels when faces need help or choke slam both wrestlers at the same shot.

7) Balls Mahoney - Nutcracker Suite, smacking people with chairs, what more can I say.

8) Tommy Cairo - Not familiar with him, but I know he's from the old-Eastern Championship Wrestling days & part of the Extreme-era of ECW. He feuded with Tommy Dreamer when Cairo was a heel & with The Sandman when Cairo was a face & Sandman was a heel.

9) Shane Douglas - The Franchise, another former Mr. Everything, but he revolutionized ECW in the Extreme era when Douglas threw away & spat on the NWA World Title & it soon became Extreme Championship Wrestling & not Eastern.

10) Al Snow - He rocked in that ECW version & used to come out with a mannequin head, nicknamed "Head".

How was that input? Those wrestlers will be considered in the future. If there's any other former ECW wrestlers as well as wrestlers from Eastern Championship Wrestling's past, or wrestlers that you've never seen in ECW before that you want to see join ECW or any legends that you would like to see in ECW or even fantasy wrestlers. Let me know. or any other feedback  would be nice too. I will be putting up the cards starting Monday. Be back later.
Rick GarrardPosted on 07/15/04 at 00:40:47

how about Ron Simmons, Superstar Steve Austin, Rick Rude, Jerry Lawler, Bobby Eaton and Arn Anderson and especially Sid!?  All at one time or another had a short run in ECW
SuperstarJimiCPosted on 07/15/04 at 01:22:17

They would all be considered future ECW wrestlers. Everyone of them would be.

1) Ron Simmons - He gave Shane Douglas & The Sandman a run for their money when he received shots at the ECW World Title.

2) Steve Austin - In WWE he was Stone Cold, but before that in ECW he was The Extreme Superstar who gave both Mikey Whipwreck & The Sandman a run for their money at the ECW World Title in 1995, right before he signed with the WWE.

3) Jerry Lawler - He made an appearance in ECW, helping Bill Alfonso, Sabu & Rob Van Dam massacre Tommy Dreamer & The Sandman in 1997.

4) Bobby Eaton - Yes, I remember Beautiful Bobby in 1999. The one-time only appearance as he came to the aid of Kid Kash only to be attacked by Rhyno.

5) Arn Anderson - I don't remember his appearance in ECW, but I know it was in 1995.

6) Sid - I remember him joining in ECW in 1997 & he was there for a few months, first with Judge Jeff Jones, then quickly became a face & was destroying every heel that was in his way.

How was that for input Rick Garrard? You need a new updated ruleset. I was using your rulesets & they work.
Until tomorrow. I'm going home to watch the NWA-TNA PPV for tonight.
cerberosPosted on 07/15/04 at 01:34:21

Actually Eaton also worked for ECW back with Arn.  Eaton team with Sabu against Terry Funk and Arn Anderson at When Worlds Collide 1994.
SuperstarJimiCPosted on 07/15/04 at 01:47:50

Thank you cerberos, I wouldn't have remembered that because I didn't have ECW yet.
Owen Hart RIPPosted on 07/15/04 at 19:17:20

Didn't Marty Jannetty also briefly compete in ECW when it was Eastern Championship Wrestling? How about "Superstar" Steve Austin?
SuperstarJimiCPosted on 07/16/04 at 00:10:11

No, Owen Hart RIP. Marty Jannetty wrestled briefly in ECW under the Extreme-era in 1995 shortly after being released by the WWE (then WWF), he arrived at the same time Eddie Guerrero did. Yes, like I said yesterday, Steve Austin was in ECW in 1995.  about a year after being released by WCW. Austin joined ECW as "The Extreme Superstar" Steve Austin. He lasted in ECW for four months before leaving for the WWE (then WWF) as first, The Ringmaster & then his most successful gimmick to date, Stone Cold Steve Austin. How was that Owen Hart RIP? If any one else has any questions, comments, suggestions, any wrestlers past or present that you would like to see join the new ECW in the future, feel free & let me know because i'm putting the first set of cards up Monday so let me know.
