Match observations:

With tensions in the DWF mounting, todays main event - a ten man tag - saw
everything boil over once and for all. Steve Corino and Billy Kidman have
issues with EVERYONE from the opposing side whilst Don Muraco has one big score
to settle with Jerry Lynn. Pretty Perfect meanwhile got themselves added to
the mix because "the next tag team champions deserve main event exposure"
according to them. They could be tag team champions at Wrestlefest if they
win the tag team turmoil and if they can then beat the champs, but we'll see.

The other team was the problematic team however. Bobby Eaton and Sean O'Haire
tried to hold things together, but there was real animosity between Dynamite
Kid and Jerry Lynn. Both may be fan favourites, but there is NO love lost here.
Raven for his part tried to maintain the peace too but was clearly siding with
Lynn. And after an errant clothesline from Dynamite accidentally caught Lynn
in the closing stages, the side broke down as they tried to seperate the two
and prevent them from coming to blows. In the melee, Don Muraco was able to
pick up the win for his side.

Chris Benoit is out of the title picture right now, a rare sight for sure, but
he's more concerned with trying to get Triple Threat somewhere. With Dean
Malenko facing Scott Putski today, Benoit was legitimately concerned that the
unthinkable could happen and Putski might win. As it was, despite a couple of
rallies by Putski, Malenko came out on top but Benoit was still unhappy and
expects great things from Malenko and Tanaka at Ground Zero when they take
part in the tag team turmoil match.

Benoit will have other matters on his mind as he takes on Test in what will be
the first match in the Pride of Canada tournament. Along with Benoit and Test,
Chris Jericho and Lance Storm will take part as well, with the winner getting
a small presentation at Wrestlefest. Chris Jericho however is so confident, he
berated the competition before his match today. His opponent was the man who
eliminated him from the Royal Rumble, La Parka. Jericho was out to regain a
little face after that particular humiliation, but he didn't bank on an angry
Lance Storm coming down, upset at Jerichos harsh words. Storm distracted
Jericho as Jericho had control, and the two threw some words at each other. As
Storm turned to leave, Jericho lept off the apron with a flying axehandle and
threw him into the steel steps. Jericho gave him an ear bashing, yelling at
him that NOBODY makes a fool of him, only for him to forget the count and for
La Parka to score the win. Jericho looked dumbfounded and refused to accept
the result, all the while La Parka danced and strutted around.

Ground Zero will also see a six man tag match with the intentions of settling
another long running feud. Following victory over the Miracle Violence
Connection, Edge and Christian found the air getting evil as John Cena stepped
out and sent out a challenge on behalf of himself, Doug Furnas and Phil LaFon
for a six man tag, telling them they could get that "grease monkey" Test on
their team too. Let's see if they can settle that little score

Devon Storm scored an excellent victory today over Chavo Guerrero Snr. before
making a challenge for Ground Zero to Brad Armstrong. Devon cited that Brad
has been avoiding setting foot in the ring for a year now and it was about
time they squared off. Whether there is a match or not is unconfirmed, but
you can bet Devon will be at Ground Zero regardless.

Hunter Hearst Helmsley continues to want to make an impact, showcasing his
class and sophistication and expecting to strike it big at Wrestlefest this
year. Today was not such a good day as he took a loss to Brian Pillman.

The feud between Rey Mysterio and Juventud Guerrera continued today in tag
team action. The two took every chance to brawl it out and it was while they
were brawling on the outside that their partners, Rob Van Dam and Jody Fleisch
respectably, settled it in the ring with RVD coming out on top.

Meanwhile the idiotic Greater Power storyline continues as the Mean Street
Posse, now with their nails painted black and big red pentograms painted onto
their sweatervests, are promising to reveal the identity of the Greater Power
at Ground Zero. Lord knows who'd be stupid enough to even let them have a slot
on the card, but they can make as many promises as they like. They've even
thrown out the most ridiculous challenge yet. Wanting to make this PPV the most
special day of their lives, they've made the one challenge they KNOW they can
win (probably) - Scott Putski and Paul Roma. Oh dear god. According to the
Posse though, they heard Putski and Roma conspiring together and calling them
names, even though Putski and Roma hate each other.

Meanwhile the Posse saw the chance to make it a tag title match as they took
on the Rock'n'Roll Express (it was non title, but don't tell them that). No
surprises, the Express came out on top easily enough.

Finally Low Ki appeared on the Kings Court to promote his upcoming match with
Larry Zbyszko at Ground Zero. Low Ki called him a washed up old fart still
living in the past. Whether he can prove it or not we'll have to see...

I'm really liking this circuit.  May I offer a suggestion though?  Perhaps a format change.  Nothing major, but maybe edit the post-match comments so that the description of each match is mixed in with the match results.  It would make it a far easier flow and easier to read.

Loving the circuit, but is there any way for you to post the old shows anywhere? I know the board implosion on that other place sort of killed things, but I'd like a place to look at the old stuff if at all possible.

I see, what you mean is for it to read something like...
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Edge & Christian defeated The Miracle Violence Connection when Christian pinned
T. Gordy with the Unprettier in 0:09:26.
Rating: ***

Gordy did this and that, and the MVC dominated until E&C came back and did some more stuff and won, looking impressive in the process, etc etc

Brian Pillman pinned Hunter Hearst-Helmsley with the DDT in 0:08:39.
Rating: ** 3/4

Helmsley dominated early proceedings, then Pillman made a comeback and did this, that and the other
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
And then summarise everything else at the end? Yeah, if you'd rather I did that, I'm sure I can deliver. I already do the same sort of thing for the PPV's (without the need for a post-card comment section, since I write up interviews for them too - I don't usually for the weekly shows, too time consuming) - if that's the sort of thing you're talking about, then not a problem. I've already done the next few cards up until the PPV, after that I'll twiddle TNM so that I do post-match comments and work from there. And cheers for the suggestion.

Well, I had the entire circuit on some old message boards, but there was an incident (one admin went nuts and destroyed the boards), so when the boards were set up again on another server, I just begun to post from where I left off (about 9 months behind this) but they went down yesterday and nobody has been on to fix it. Still, I'll link you once they're back up again. And the link in my sig obviously doesn't work anymore. Still, any questions and I'll gladly answer them.

Yeah... that's what I mean.  It just gives it a better look and flow.  Right on. :)
