I have checked it so that I can choose the kind of interference I want in a match. So in a match between the two faces The Rock and Eugene I wanted JBL to interfer. I wanted it so that he was allowed to do anything, but not throw an foreign object so I had that one unchecked. When the result of the match came I saw that he threw a frying pan... Which he wasn't allowed to do.

Luckily I could restart the match. And the choice for interference is new so I think I found yet another bug..

EDIT: Found another one... It's for the card logs. When it shows the finish and you press 'w' to see the page before and then restart the match it will keep the match in the log and not replace it like it usually does when you just restart a match.

Although I'm not sure if it does replace if you just restart in Build 4. I know it did in build 3. I have to check my logs.

EDIT 2: I just checked the logs... It doesn't replace even with just a restart... I know because the times of the match jumps back. The final finish is just listed once though..

The choosing the type of interference thing is not a documented and working feature of TNM. That is why it got deactivated.

As far as the logs go... could you please let me know which log file you are talking about? I might be a bit dense at the moment, so please forgive me ;)

In my circuits that I sent to you I had a folder named Cards. Within it are copies of the Matches.log file. One for each card.

I did the same thing when I had build 3 and I know for a fact that it only kept the most recent match within that log, while in Build 4 it doesn't.

If you do a search for El Samurai in the first document for the IWA circuit (not IWA2) and scroll through that match you'll see the clock go from 0:02:50 to 0:01:11 which means I restarted the match..

As for the interference... I was able to activate it through Tweakcirc... But if it isn't working then the option maybe should be removed from Tweakcirc for now..

I've found a temporary solution to my log problem. I copy the CardF.txt file instead of the Memory.log. It only shows the last match. I just have to eliminate the numbers before each fight.

I'll come up with something ASAP. Thanks!

Wait a sec... while checking it's just come to me: the MATCHES.LOG file is *NEVER* cleared unless *YOU* instruct TNM to do so in your circuit's menu.

At least now I understand why I didn't understand you ;-)

Since you automatically keep the play-by-play with every match anyway, what are you trying to achieve?

Thanks,

Oliver

I do remember it removing matches who are restarted and only having the most recent version... But maybe I never noticed it never did and thought it was the same match...

Oh well ;)

The reason I kept copies of the cards individually is so that I could make summaries as well as a record of pins, submission moves, illegal hits etc. I'm a bit of a statistics nut.

Also, the matches.log also showed who was fighting who in a way the CardF.txt doesn't. But I can always fix that afterwards within my own copies :D

But since the CardF.txt only keeps the match that gives off an ending it's superior.. Now I only want to know if it still makes the CardF.txt files if I deactivate the logs... But maybe I can make a test circuit and find that out myself ;)

CARDF.TXT is only created when you have "Keep Play-By-Play" checked. It doesn't matter if logfiles are generated or not.

"In my circuits that I sent to you I had a folder named Cards. Within it are copies of the Matches.log file. One for each card. "

My solution to this was to create a temp directory in each circuit folder. After each match once you reach the result page with the winner's theme song playing you can open the circuit folder in Windows Explorer, cut the matches.log file and move it into the temp directory. Then rename matches.log as a *.txt file (match1.txt or something). Do this after each match and you will have the individual matches for each card saved in your temp folder. I started doing this because I found that FCA Cubed matches tend to overwrite the entire matches.log file and in turn get overwritten by the next match, thus losing a significant portion of your match results.

Thanks Oliver. Then I'll uncheck the log. It's just a hassle now anyway ;)
